I am quite concerned with the lack of ability of ICN team to promote their product. I am one of top 100 holders, but not exactly too happy with the progress so far.
Sure, platform is not launched for the public, that's fine and I am eagerly waiting for that. But the lack of any kind of promo is terrible. If the team cannot promote the platform when it's 2 - 3 weeks (allegedly) from launch, I don't have high hopes about the promo after the launch. The final product may be amazing, but unless it attracts people, then it's fairly pointless.
Promo is simply lacking, but I will wait with the decision until the platform is released and maybe a few weeks after that.
So far, I am not happy. The lack of ability to create high expectations from the product is simply essential.

Not end of Q1. Dividends will be distributed after platform is released. What dividends you expect from beta testers use? I don't know man, they better find something, they better prove that they know what they're doing. Two weeks, that's it, that's your deadline. Better see a 100-150% spike in those two weeks if you want to stay alive in this game. This gives me some serious thoughts about the future of Iconomi.
I mean if they got 10m and couldn't attract such volume in 6months, and mln does that, then we've got serious trouble.
Iconomi has a different approach towards their project - no fake volume, no pumps and no polo scams. First priority after ICO is to deliver a working product with good foundations on which it will be easier to build OFM and scale up. If you ask me, it's about time for some mature and professional approach in the crypto sphere Hope they don't miss their Q1 deadline. And better pay some dividends if they will, cause they got some pretty heavy competition right now. If Melon gets on Trolloniex, ICN might be in trouble. We need more exchanges. Being confined to Kraken is detrimental. Hopefully, they see the light in due course. ICN does not deserve to be relegated to 19th https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/iconomi/

Dont you think its a bit odd that they have such a huge volume but they did not release anything special? And as far as i think they already caught Q1 deadline, ICNX is already available to some people. so all in all they are doing their job fine No, I don't think it's odd, I think that they have a competent team behind it that knows how to attract interest. Look, I've been waiting patiently for quite long like many others in here, but we're reaching a deadline in couple weeks and it's gonna be a make it or break it moment. If MLN surpasses ICN, with just a funding of two million was it? Then I'll start reconsidering things on how viable this project is anymore. It is because it is not listed on Poloniex. I am criticizing Iconomi, just pointing out a fact. Most altcoin traders trade on Poloniex and so only trade coins listed there. Most would not go through the hassle of switching assets between Poloniex and Kraken just to make a trade on Iconomi. From what I gathered they asked not to be listed yet, till the platform is ready. Based on the tweets I've seen between polo, rex, and ICN. |

One of the problems is a big inflation: ~16% in first year, ~11% in second.
I understand active delegates don't want to change the situation. They receive almost free money.
But that big inflation limits the growth of Lisk.
Many investors will not take the risk and will not enter into an Lisk with so many new coins (with all other current issues).
Agreed, the only solution to this is rapid devaluation, to a market cap of $500,000. This would be good for Lisk. And then when the inflation cycle is over in 5 years, it can start growing healthily in price. Please explain why this should be good for Lisk. So we can battle the hyperinflation. Delegates will have to dump faster and the coins will be redistributed. |
