well i do not think western european or USA goverments care much about having control over bitcoin. They do care that their citizens do not use it to avoid tax or pay for drugs. Mostly see bitcoin as some undeground tech for nerds and criminals , they do not see the ways of making bitcoin working in their favour .
This is an uninformed point of view. They approved and licensed many institutions with multi billion $ flows. Coinbase has 6 mil accounts already. Many VCs (like Tim Draper) invested large sums in bitcoins directly and several congressman voiced their positive opinions on btc as well. Sure, they give out license to exchangers etc and you have some in the congress being positive to Bitcoin but it does not say that they want to take over the driving seat directly |

hold on , your post does not make sense. If according to you an ETF rejection could extend the Cheap bitcoin period to a year then why is the window closing? only reason thinking the " cheap " bitcoin window is closing is based on ETF being approved |

As some one pointed out we have three that are waiting for verdicts but something that is strange is we are having a downtrend before the verdicts . Surely this downtrend is not just based on the news from china.

Still around IOTA and belive it is a greate step forward , i have been reading the whitepaper and posts here. I still can not get my head around milestone node. So the tangle on milestone server counts more then what other nodes have? and also in this case the use of the server will always be there and it would be so that IOTA is not 100% trustless.
Coordinator will be removed in the future, when the tangle evolves. right, so when the network is big enough they take the server offline. thank you for making it clear |

All can happen, we are not talking about one but three companies wanting to take Bitcoin to next level. ETF ( decision around 11th of March ) , SolidX (desicion around 17th of march ) and Barry Silbert Investment trust has applied as well .
So iam Sure SEC is going to look into this with new eyes and one if not all can be approved, sure maybe not this year but in very near future. So if you do not need money then sit on your bitcoins at least for 6month to a year.

 My man, do not hate the players . It is thanks to them that the market is moving towards ATH almost every year. Like others said, if traders would not want to play with bitcoin then it would just be as valuable as the time it was used to pay for pizza You can make profit without daytrading, buy low and sit on your coins for a while and you will be able to sell with profit. Have patients, remember it took around 10 years for bitcoin to be where it is now. Imagine what another 10 or even another 2 years can do .

900-1k seems to be new floor and looks like it has good foundation . It will be very very interesting to see where we land on 11th, personaly i do not think the ETF not being approved will have such big impact we might see drop down to 800-900 range and then slowly work our way up to 1100 usd. But if it gets approved we might see 1700-2000 USD prices very fast

OKCoin/China and BTC-e are still lagging behind. This time there isn't Peking in the lead. My charts at https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/huobi/btccny are flatlining, anybody knows details why? Do not want to see another one biting the dust just now. Forget about using China as an indicator of price movements. They did cheat the market with fake volumes etc and i am glad the authorities are dealing with the problem. Now when this has come out and they can not continue pretending to be big players we will have more " clean " price / value for bitcoin |

that's what people thought for a little while in late 2013 then china and gox happened. could something of a similar magnitude happen again? i think the strongest possibility is some sort of fork event. in that case 80% might be optimistic. right,well Mt gox was a disaster but keep in mind like what is happening now in China with authoreties being on exchangers behind to make sure they are playing fair and that will make people more confident in Bitcoin. As for a fork well ETH did well so it should not be a problem for bitcoin |

Bitcoin will have a fight at the all time high mark, so around 1165, then after that it's anywhere from 1500 to 10000, nobody can ever tell you how high it will go after all the ATH is smashed. for me the pice 1430 looks important. i dont know how price will reacten when 1430, we could do barrer roll to 250 again or go higher. you think price might roll back to 250 USD?  that will never happen .. well you must be new to bitcoin...
