161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 14, 2024, 11:39:47 PM
The priority for Real Madrid right now is the striker. Joselu is playing too badly to be a part of this team. He wastes many positions and cannot move to empty areas easily. Real's offensive line is worse than expected. So I think their first choice would be a striker. However, the Davies transfer could save a troubled area for Real. I think Ancelotti might consider adding him to the team.
Of course, Real Madrid will always prioritize to sign a new top striker as long they don't get a proper replacement for Benzema. Mbappe and Osimhen are the main target for Real Madrid, they probably won't stop if they don't sign one of the strikers. Regarding Joselu, I don't think he played too badly, he played quite well. He proved that he could score some goals so far. Although he rarely played as a starter, he still could contribute by scoring few goals. However, it is true that Joselu isn't a proper striker that Real Madrid expects. Joselu still wasted many shot attempts in many matches, specifically in the big matches. Anyway, I don't think Real Madrid attacking line is worse, they are strong enough. If they are worse, Real Madrid won't be in the top of La Liga table and played almost perfectly in UCL.

Davies transfer will be good for Real Madrid. He will strengthen Real Madrid defense. However, I don't think it is an urgent thing, Real Madrid has good number of defenders.

I think Joselu is not bad for a backup striker. Because we see Ancelotti prefers to use the duo Vini and Rodrygo as attacking options. They also have Brahim who always performs well when he is a supersub.
Madrid's current problem is in defense, Rudiger does not yet have a capable partner. Meanwhile, Alaba and Militao are recovering from injuries. In my opinion, Nacho has had ups and downs in performance, it's quite risky to make him a starter.

I think Davies can be considered because this could be an option to replace Carvajal. Because we know Carvajal is no longer young.
There needs to be regeneration on the right side fullback who is experienced like Davies. But I don't know whether Munich will just let Davies go. Let's see what Real Madrid's transfer movements are like.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 14, 2024, 11:31:26 PM
So far the highlights from the africa competition is not impressive, with 0 fans turn out; awful football pitches (more sand than grasses), i wonder how the africa organizers want players to enjoy football and what media view they are potraying.

To be honest, if you are expecting good performances from the tournament, i doubt you will find it; the pitch does not support quality performances; i believe scouts are equally disappointed too.

WILL THIS CHANGE GOING FORWARD?

Actually, Africa has some pretty good stadiums, such as in South Africa. However, unfortunately, in terms of audience euphoria, Africa is lagging behind other continents such as Europe and Asia.
This cannot be separated from the financial capabilities of football fans there which are not good enough, therefore the stadium will definitely not be full.
But on the other hand, the African continent has countries with many players who have careers in Europe. Moreover, the countries on the African continent are also strong teams in terms of play.
Maybe the African federation needs to think harder so that AFCON attracts more spectators and football fans from outside Africa to come.

Man United's performance is difficult to predict, but most of them always play badly. Especially Onana's blunders, a ball that should have been easy to anticipate but instead he failed.
Likewise in the middle, Bruno did not have a significant impact. I wonder why ETH can give him the confidence to be team captain, even though there are still several players who are tracking to become captain and can make a difference.

In terms of Tottenham's game they were better, they were just unlucky because of the 6 shots on goal only 2 resulted in goals.
Without Son's presence, it would have a very significant impact. Timo Werner making his debut with this assist is enough to prove that he can still compete in the EPL.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 14, 2024, 10:09:02 PM
Barcelona's game was very bad, especially on the defensive side. It was very easy for Madrid's attackers to get the ball into Barcelona's defense and scored 4 goals.
On average, goals are scored through easy attacks. Plus Araujo getting a red card really affected the balance of their defensive line.
I don't know whether Xavi has to go out or what, because if he continues his performance like this, it is not impossible that even in La Liga, Barca will be the target of teams like Atletico Madrid, Girona and Real Madrid.

Congratulations to Real Madrid for winning the Spanish Super Cup, they really deserved it. Vini played very tactically and scored a hat trick, finally he started to find his best playing rhythm again.

I think Chelsea was really lucky to win the game because it wasn't expected that they will be able to win the game based on how they have been performing.  I was expecting the game to end in draws but Fulham didn't play well like the way I expected. If Fulham team had performed well I don't think it will be easy for Chelsea to win the game . Chelsea still have hope to meet up top four position if they can start performing better in their games.

Winning 1-0 does not mean that Chelsea is considered to be on a positive trend. There is a possibility that Fulham performed poorly that night. And talking about Chelsea's chances of breaking into the top 4 I think it is a miracle and mission impossible to do with their performance this season. Chelsea is able to win matches against several teams above it but I think the top 4 teams are currently very strong for Chelsea to beat. I think the most realistic possibility is to qualify for the European League group stages but that also seems very difficult.
This time Chelsea was lucky to win through a penalty. Statistically, the match was actually a draw. There was only a total of 6 kicks on goal created by both teams.
Due to this result, Chelsea is ranked 8th with the same points as Man United. However, overall Chelsea's game was very bad, they did not show collective play between the lines.
On the other hand, you can't expect too much from Fulham's game, maybe this is due to the influence of several consecutive defeats in the last few matches. So mentally their game is not back yet.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 13, 2024, 08:39:45 PM
I'm not sure if novice gamblers would want to hear that. Because their main goal in trying to gamble is to make money. They will learn from their own experiences, because every gambler has their own point of view and ways. Moreover, if they have spent a lot of money and time, they will slowly learn from it. They will learn responsibility from the many games they have played and also the amount of money they have spent. Because that's where a sense of discipline will arise when playing gambling. Moreover, gambling cannot guarantee the victory they hope for, it will also greatly affect the mentality of every novice gambler.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 13, 2024, 08:22:17 PM
I think it depends on mindset, $50 is more than enough for me for one month's gambling capital. Because my goal in gambling is not for my main income.
I consider gambling to be entertainment, winning or losing is not a problem. Just like when I use $50 to watch a movie and buy a drink, I won't expect the money back because I think the money can make me feel happy about watching the movie. It's different if I use gambling as additional income, maybe I will try my best to make my $50 bigger through gambling.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 13, 2024, 07:36:22 PM
De Bruyne's entry made the difference in the game and scored the equalizer in the 74th minute.
After that Man City's attack was more aggressive which forced Newcastle to pile up a lot of players in defense.
The ball is always directed at De Bruyne to create opportunities, on the other hand, Newcastle is just waiting for a counter attack to create opportunities.
City's victory moved them up to 2nd place in the EPL standings. Only 2 points difference from Liverpool. De Bruyne's entry really changed the situation which had a big influence on Man City's victory today.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What ugly incident or occurrence have you ever experienced in gambling? on: January 13, 2024, 05:37:05 PM
Honestly, I have never experienced anything like that. But if that happened to me, I would understand how I would feel.
It really makes your head explode, losing money because of a system error is worse than losing money when the system is working well.
Who knows how that person will complain to the gambling platform, I don't think he will get a good answer.  Undecided
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 13, 2024, 04:09:50 PM
Your friend may have entered the addiction stage. Gambling every day for the reason of increasing your chances of winning is unreasonable.
In my opinion, gambling wins can be obtained consistently if you can control the number of losses. The problem here that I noticed is that your friend wants the jackpot for each game.
That percentage is very small in my opinion. The more often he plays, the more likely he is to lose more money.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 12, 2024, 09:41:42 PM
In a few minutes the match between Bayern and Hoffenheim begins, in my opinion this is the most interesting match on a Friday night. If you do not take into account the absence of Gnabry, it seems that Bayern is in optimal condition, but Hoffenheim has not always been an easy opponent for Bayern, but there is no desire to bet against Bayern, which is trying to overtake Bayer.

While I was writing I see that the match has already started, enjoy watching everyone!
Munchen won convincingly with 3 goals without reply, contributed by Musiala and Kane. It was predictable from the start that Munchen would easily win this match.
Munchen and Leverkusen are only 1 point apart on the standings. After this there will be a Leverkusen vs Augsburg match. Can Augsburg provide resistance to the leaders of the standings?
Because if Leverkusen can be held to a draw then Munchen's opportunity to overtake points is very wide open. However, on the other hand, Leverkusen will definitely try to maintain their record of never losing this season.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 12, 2024, 08:54:14 PM
I think Barcelona should be careful with Joao Felix. Buying him looks dangerous given Barcelona's financial position and his lackluster performance. They have greater problems like debt, so focusing on a premium player like Felix may not be sensible. I think they should focus on defense rather than buying a questionable attacker. Jarrad Branthwaite is amazing. Its no wonder Manchester United and Real Madrid want him. Everton has a jewel, and if they play their cards well, they could profit from his sale. They have a good chance to recover financially.

Yeah I dont think that Barca will offer a permanent contract to Felix, Barca cant afford to buy any expensive player in this year due to the club financially struggles.
They might only buy young players/wonderkids with hope they able to become a star in the future.

Too many defenders with high wages at Barca now, Xavi will be happy if the club decides to offload 1 or 2 defenders and buy a good player on other position he needs.

I think Joao Felix is not a priority for Barca at the moment, because there are still several attacking options that Barca has.
Like Vitor Roque and Ferran Torres who can fill this position. Moreover, if Barca force themselves to sign Joao Felix, he will incur a very high new salary burden.
I think selling some players is also impossible because the current performance is still unstable. The most sensible option is to extend Joao Felix's loan if Barca really wants him.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do gamblers always ague alot? on: January 12, 2024, 08:25:08 PM
I think it's normal that there are always arguments at the viewing area. When I watch football at home with some of my friends there will definitely be arguments.
Actually, the debate is a form of validation to confirm each other's choices, because of course we have to believe in our choices when betting on football.
Because I think it's more fun to debate than to watch alone without friends. The possibility of changing choices could occur after a long debate.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 11, 2024, 07:44:43 PM
It doesn't matter about Liverpool's target in the Premier League because after all, if there is still a good chance of winning in other matches such as the Carabao Cup match against Fulham then yes, of course Liverpool will still make good efforts too. After all, even though Liverpool is placing high focus on the Premier League, it certainly doesn't make Liverpool weak in other competitions. Because as the team at the top of the Premier League standings, of course Liverpool will also continue to play well and maximize the opportunities they have in every match they play in all competitions.
It is not easy to maintain the performance of players to stay fit in several competitions, even though we know that Liverpool still have a chance to win the EPL title this season, but apart from that they also don't want to expect one title because if it can be more than that, why not as long as Jürgen Klopp can still manage player rotation well, everything will go well, even though there will be obstacles to getting it.

Liverpool must be able to maintain its consistency so that it is not easily lulled by winning results, because the journey is still quite long to win the EPL title this season because there is still Manchester City who will win it if Liverpool end up making a mistake, this is what drives Liverpool to also hunt for titles in other competitions. ongoing so that at least this season they get the title of champion in any championship, Carabao Cup and others. don't just focus on the EPL.  Wink
Man City has a very big chance to take number 1 in the EPL standings from Liverpool because several of its core players have returned, such as De Bruyne. This is important capital for Man City to collect winning points in the upcoming matches.
Yes, as we know, De Bruyne and Haaland were a deadly combination last season so Haaland was able to become the top scorer. Even though he is a new recruit, he is already able to get along with his teammates.
Like it or not, Liverpool must be able to continue to maintain its standings in order to win the EPL championship this season.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 11, 2024, 05:35:39 PM
What was unexpected was that the Real Madrid vs Altletico Madrid match ended without a penalty shootout and a 5-3 win in extra time meant that Real Madrid qualified for the Supercopa final. Anyone who watched last night's match will definitely be heartbroken by the performance of the two teams who countered each other's attacks, resulting in 8 goals in one match. After 90 minutes ended with a 3-3 draw, it was clear that Atletico Madrid were only able to survive and seemed to be aiming for the penalty shootout, but on the other hand, Real Madrid did not want the match to end until the penalty shootout. Real Madrid continued to attack so that Atletico Madrid could only defend the whole time.

Luckily, when Joselu and Brahim Diaz came on in extra time, Real Madrid's attacks became more effective and this was proven by Real Madrid's 4th goal thanks to the interference provided by Joselu using an assist from Dani Carvajal, making Savic make a mistake which resulted in him scoring an own goal. After that, Atletico didn't have time to defend and finally they launched an all-out attack, forcing goalkeeper Jan Oblak forward when Atletico Madrid got a corner kick. This resulted in failure and right on the halfway line there was Brahim Diaz who was ready to sprint at maximum speed after Joselu's waste ball was put to good use, resulting in Real Madrid's 5th goal.

An extraordinary match from Real Madrid, they didn't give up at all and they proved it again as a club with a high winning mentality in all competitions. The neat performance of Ancelotti's squad deserves extraordinary appreciation and now they just have to wait for the winner of the Barcelona vs Osasuna match which will take place today to determine Real Madrid's opponents in the Supercopa final on the 15th.
Indeed, Real Madrid players have been mentally trained, it is clear they have that DNA. Not only now, they often win matches with goals in extra time. This shows that mentality is very influential in a match.
Respect is very high for this European king. Even though they lost several key players due to injury, the game was still very good to watch. The only fault was the goalkeeper, Kepa's performance was very bad. There were many easy goals that could have been anticipated but failed. Lunin should have been a starter in this match because he had a better clean sheet in previous matches.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 11, 2024, 05:18:00 PM
I see the Mbappe transfer to Real Madrid as what will not happen this January transfer window because PSG has not gotten a replacement for Mbappe, and if they allow Mbappe to leave, PSG will find it hard to score goals and win their matches.

That's not a serious problem at all. Mbappe can at very least reach PRE-agreement with real madrid. The terms of this offer are more than enough to ensure his commitment to joining Real Madrid after his contract comes to an end. There's no need for madrid to pay PSG to get him now.
The club needs only to wait till the middle of this year to get mbappe by paying around 150 millions as his signing fees and salary. As you can see that other strikers owned by real madrid was not as productive as him in scoring goals for the club.
Goncalo ramos? this guy is a flop, even dembele was not performing so good in PSG. I would like to see who is going to be recruited by PSG to replace mbappe's position. PSG will be losing one of its best players in the world.

Mbappe is always becoming the long-term story. His transfer saga will probably end in the middle of next year. It is my sincere hope that PSG's elimination from the UCL will provide us with valuable insight into his final decision.
it's likely that if mbappe will be leaving from PSG and i do believe it will happen soon. There are so various parties are awaiting his final decision to make sure everything will be cleared.
There will be no fake news to be used to manipulate public's opinion again.
Do you think PSG management will want Mbappe to leave PSG on a free transfer after they have invested so much money in Mbappe? PSG management will likely offer Mbappe another deal so that any club that wants to sign Mbappe will pay a huge amount of money.
PSG will of course learn from several previous cases. Mbappe is too controlling for PSG, this is not good for the team's survival.
Therefore, they learn not to prioritize one player too much. We can see from PSG's last few purchases that they prioritize young players who are not too expensive.
They are no longer targeting European megastars who have fantastic value. This also cannot be separated from the role of coach Luis Enrique.
Therefore, it is very likely that Mbappe will be released so that the team atmosphere is more balanced, Mbappe can move to a club that has a history of being able to manage a star well, such as Real Madrid.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: January 11, 2024, 04:51:04 PM
Recently I was around a physical bet shop close to my area and I observed a man who was shabbily dressed walking in the gambling house. I got into the place to observe what his intentions were. He walked straight to the gaming attendant, placed his bets in a highly coordinated manner and quietly walked out of the physical gambling house. From the way he was well organized, you will never know that he was mentally unsound apart from his dirty clothes and unkept hair and beard.

When I inquired from the attendant, she said he was a regular customer and that he usually raised money for gambling through the manual jobs he does around the area. She also told me that he has never misbehaved and acted violently in the gambling house so she was comfortable with him.

My question now is are there any moral, ethical or legal obligation to bar a person from gambling after physically observing that he is mentally unstable?
In my opinion there is no problem with that, as long as he can still follow the rules in the gambling house.
Maybe mental disorders only occur when he is at home, and we don't know what factors influence it. But when he entered the gambling table, he was like a normal person without anything silly he did.
Moreover, there is no specific prohibition on people being prohibited from entering a gambling house with a shabby appearance, the important thing is that they bring money to enter there.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shared games helped you before? on: January 08, 2024, 08:21:44 PM
To be honest, I have experienced this, but with relatively small betting values. Because many of my friends gamble and we know each other when we play. Sometimes I need to give advice when I'm stuck in thinking and making a choice. They were happy to help me by providing options, even though the percentage of winning and losing was almost 50-50. But I never took it as a serious thing when I lost, because I understand that in gambling the percentage of losing is very large.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: January 08, 2024, 08:06:26 PM
How can you say retire winnings from gambling?
Do you yourself make gambling your job?
Meanwhile, gambling is not a job. Gambling is about winning and losing, not something that gives you the certainty of winning consistently.
If what you mean is quitting gambling after winning, I think that makes more sense. Because many people do that, especially people who are new to gambling.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woes of gambling on: January 08, 2024, 07:14:32 PM
Don't have too high hopes for gambling. Avoid the ambition to get rich through gambling. However, gambling is a game that is set in such a way.
You cannot interfere with the regulations of each gambling platform. If you like it please play along, if not you can skip it.
People like gambling because it is fun, if you think gambling is a way to get rich then immediately close all information related to gambling from your mind.
