841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine a good ICO project? on: September 13, 2018, 08:03:01 PM
Nowadays too many scam project just to cheat money, how u guys determine is it a good project?
I'm not too dizzy to see a good project or not. I only use a comparison of past projects to determine the project whether it's good or not. It can be seen from how they communicate with the support community, then how they facilitate investors and supporters, clarity of the roadmap, transparency about the amount of funds collected. So this will make people believe, so the project will have clear goals and will produce something good.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about games on blockchain? on: September 13, 2018, 07:57:29 PM
CryptoKitties, Decentraland, God's Unchained etc. Is it possible to earn profit on this games or not?
I think it's possible. Because now all fields can be applied on the blockchain system. It only depends on how the development they make, whether it can be profitable or even detrimental. In the past there was also a gaming platform that had almost the same concept, and was good until now, and was still used by them.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most successful crypto projects? on: September 13, 2018, 07:52:33 PM
Only share ones which legitimate i.e has real products out in market!
I see CARDANO having that, maybe Seele is also a good one. Because no matter how good the vision of the project must be balanced with their communication to the support community, not only to investors. I see some projects have good vision but lack communication to the support community and ultimately fail to shine. Even though the role of the community is also very influential on the projects they make.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to discuss next halving? on: September 13, 2018, 06:20:49 PM
It's been a little over two years since the last reward halving which occurred in the first decade of July, 2016. That means we can now officially start counting down till the next halving which is scheduled to occur in the third decade of May, 2020. But what's more important here is that there will be a lot of buzz and hype months before the actual event.

So let's recall the train of events that had preceded the last halving. In late August, 2015, bitcoin made its local low of about 200 dollars, and since September it started to rise and rose to over 750 dollars in June, 2016, just a few weeks before the H-day. Then there was a correction which many had been expecting as it was kinda obvious that people would be fixing profits.

Now, if past events are any indicator of what future holds, it is reasonable to expect that prices will likely continue moving in a sideways market for at least a year, with minor rebounds and corrections, as was the case in the second half of 2014 and first half of 2015 (now we are in 2014). Then, in the second half of 2019, people will undoubtedly start loudly talking about the next halving. These talks and expectations associated with the halving will most likely lead to a sharp price rise till the very event or pretty close to it.

The bottom line is that, these few months, and especially the first months of 2019, may be good entry points before bitcoin gets a lot of hype again. So don't miss on this opportunity, and get your cash ready today to jump on this bandwagon right on time!
But the funny thing is that many people think that by the end of this year there will be big spikes like the end of 2017  Cheesy
Whereas if you look at previous chart history, the increase in bitcoin always occurs after halving. Where prices will form new highs. I believe that there will only be 1x new highs and 1 new low in one halving. So the determination can only be seen at the end of 2020.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: September 13, 2018, 06:12:39 PM
That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?
Yes TRUE. ICO projects that use the ERC20 platform have the potential to indirectly damage ETH prices. This has caused people's trust in ETHEREUM to decline. Actually there are many token platforms that can be used like counterparty, but they are less popular than ETH.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin/USDT, Coin/ETH, Coin/BTC which one is better ? or all is good ? on: September 13, 2018, 06:07:44 PM
as we know when coins enter exchange then we can buy the coin using BTC, ETH or USDT according to the decision of the ICO developer who wants to make their coins can be purchased using USDT, ETH or BTC, even can use them all in the exchange.

but here I want to discuss about that, in my opinion it's better to use the purchase method with just USDT to make the coin more stable.

because like now the prices of ETH and BTC are going down then the coin will go down the price, because they are interrelated even though if ETH and BTC go up then the coin price will automatically go up too.

to make it easier then I will make this by using an example.
for example coins can be purchased using ETH and the ICO price at that time is 1 coin of $ 0.05 and if we buy with ETH then we will get the price of 1 coin = 0.0001 ETH (I take the example if the price of ETH is $ 450).

and now the ETH price drops to $ 290 even though the coin price does not go down, still at the price of 0.0001 ETH, but their $ (USDT) value must go down, because the ETH price drops to $ 290 automatically even though the coin price is in 1 coin = 0.0001 ETH, but the price is not $ 0.05 again it actually becomes $ 0.03 and it drops as much as $ 0.02 from the ICO price even though the exchange rate does not go down (still 1 coin = 0.0001 ETH), even if the ETH price rises to $ 500 the coin price goes up too, but according to me is better that the coin can only be exchanged using USDT only to make the coin more stable and determine its own price without following the increase or decrease in the price of the ETH or BTC even other coins that can be used as a coin purchase.

this is my opinion, if your opinion is different then that is your right, because everyone has a different opinions.
What I know for ICO coins / tokens now many use dollar / USD benchmarks, but the payment still uses BTC and ETH that have been converted according to the USD price. Very different from older ICOs that use ETH or BTC. I think it is because of the use of USD that makes prices unstable.
847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in going down, is it bad...? on: September 12, 2018, 06:42:09 PM
Bitcoin is now at about 6k$...

I bought tons of bitcoin when the price was at 3k$ and then sold at about 17k$, I made profits then, but now I don't think that the price can go up again...
Will it?
Don't expect prices to rise in a short time. I believe in 2021 prices will rise. In this year I think there are a lot of FUD news that is intentional to damage the mentality of people holding bitcoin. So just enjoy this moment.
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic of traders on: September 12, 2018, 02:58:40 PM
Every day I see more and more people starting to feel hopeless with the current market situation because of uncertainty when prices will recover and end this fall. Even more and more traders are deciding to resign from trading and sell all of their assets but that makes the price even more falling.
Yes, it is true. All experienced panic because prices did not show as they all expected. There are things they do not understand, namely expecting bitcoin to rise instantly. I think that is the wrong mindset. I admit everyone must expect bitcoin prices to rise and stabilize, but in the market they actually drop each other, which will affect price stability even though the volume of transactions is large. We should all be wise in responding to this.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how long will everyone can wait? on: September 12, 2018, 02:45:10 PM
Since january we all experience the red down lines
everyone experience this how long can you still hold your coins
and still hope for the best , are we waiting for another 3 years to reach the top
or we are now heading back to upward lines
I prefer to wait until 2021 rather than having to see a very uncertain market situation for now. But this is a reasonable market condition, a pattern that is almost similar in the previous quarter.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Sure Crypto Trading Does Not Take Over Your Life on: September 12, 2018, 01:51:06 PM
Could you live without cryptocurrency in your life? For its proponents, bitcoin is a drug that’s had them hooked since the day they discovered it. Not all holders feel the same way though. Stung by massive losses and the realisation that cryptocurrency is taking over their life, some traders forced themselves to walk away for good.

https://news.bitcoin.com/living-with-life-after-crypto/
Of course, I can. Most people like cryptocurrency because they make money in the cryptocurrency sector. Cryptocurrency is a new thing that has great potential to earn money. I speak according to the facts. Maybe no more than 50% really dedicate their lives to cryptocurrency.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Ethereum Owns Different Blockchain - But Why Constraint? on: September 12, 2018, 01:39:12 PM
Have you ever wonder why Ethereum also dropped its value so bad yesterday the same as Bitcoin?

Bitcoin has different blockchain with Ethereum, meaning they don't have a connection with each other, as well as they don't even have the same platform. But why the value is a constraint? Yesterday the Bitcoin drops its value due to some manipulation where some whales take out 10K BTC as per cryptocurrency news.

The question is why is it Ethereum also drops its value the same as Bitcoin? No question about the other cryptocurrencies because we all know most of them to rely on Bitcoin & Ethereum. Did whales or group of people manipulate Ethereum the same as what they did to Bitcoin manipulation?

What is your opinion on this matter?
This is the reason why Bitcoin will never be replaced. Because after all everyone competes to get Bitcoin, not Ethereum, because they understand the value of Bitcoin. As is happening now, old algorithm-based coins like sha256, etc. are not in demand because they have switched to the ethereum token, where they are easier to get an ethereum base token then sell it in bitcoin. I think almost all people like that. It is not intended to discredit ethereum, but the fact is that bitcoin is a cryptocurrency pioneer even though bitcoin technology is lagging behind ethereum technology.
852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Mysteries on: September 10, 2018, 12:32:08 PM
What are some of the mysteries you are curious about?

For example,
Who are the whales
How is the market manipulated
And so on

Can be any story about your experience related to crypto markets
From the over all sentiment to the big idealist/realist goals we are headed from and to

My curiosity is how the whales are playing between each other and how analysts see these behaviour and how they find it
I think whales have many groups, it's impossible if only one. To manipulate the market, I think it is not difficult, they only need to carry large funds and then make large transactions so that the volume in the market is high, then that's what attracts small traders to enter. I think the mechanism is like that.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 💚🔥Ok, time to stop the panic mode. Bitcoin goes to the "moon" *I hope on: September 10, 2018, 12:24:25 PM

So this week turned out pretty "WTF AAA PANIC BTCBITCOIN DROPS AAAA WHYYY".

Today the first day it went a bit up. I look at some exchanges and u can easily sell your btc for $6.5k. So hodl and sell on the top.

Cheers guys, last post with the panic got a ton of replies. Let's show some hope for BTCbitcoin.  Cool

#hopeforbitcoin
I am very happy with this panic, because they don't think for the long term. If they understand in the long run, I don't think there will be panic. Sit down and enjoy how bitcoin is headed for the moon  Wink
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Risk: Manipulation is Legal on: September 10, 2018, 12:02:45 PM
Crypto manipulation of the market is legal which is the big risk on this industry because it is a decentralized system not like the stock exchange. No one control the crypto market that is why any company, individual with wealth that can invest huge amount or group of people can possibly manipulate to inflate and diflate the price of market at anytime.

Not like in stocks exchange as according to Investopedia.com. "Manipulation is the act of artificially inflating or deflating the price of a security or otherwise influencing the behavior of the market for personal gain. Manipulation is illegal in most cases, but it can be difficult for regulators and other authorities to detect."

What is your opinion about this matter? Is there a way to control these manipulators?
the only purpose of market manipulation is to benefit the greedy person. That is how they lure small traders to take part in their flow. I have never heard if manipulation is legal, it is nonsense. At first I thought that crypto market would be free from manipulation, but my guess was wrong. Because apparently there are also people who try to manipulate the crypto market.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why exchange want to bank details for kyc??? on: September 06, 2018, 11:40:32 PM
Hello every one please post your valuable suggest, why an exchange required  bank account details to complicate their user verifying, are is it legal for crypto market , generally we give passports, or national I’d card to verify exchange account . I see some one exchange require bank details to verifying their user account. Please everyone give suggestion about this.  Thanks everyone
Because I think KYC is needed to collect data and prevent fake account transactions. But I see KYC requirements usually if you trade above 1BTC. If below 1 BTC is still free without KYC, almost all exchanges.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Structure of a ICO review. on: September 06, 2018, 11:31:19 PM
Hello everyone,

I think if you are a bounty hunter, you will want to write a review of project to get more rewards. I hope the bounty hunters who have a lot of experience share about the structure of a project review. What should the content be mention about to attract viewers as well as provide full information about the project?

Thank you.
Every ICO project always has their own strengths that they highlight, I always write down the advantages for each ICO project. Because that's where I think it's important.
857  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: September 06, 2018, 11:25:30 PM
Hey everybody I want to share my trading experience with these guys: https://discord.gg/2cjRufh. I've been using their free crypto calls for a few months, and I made a small profits 1-3% almost every other day. Also the community is very helpful and I learned a lot new information and ways to cope with emotional trading.
I will suggest you first start with small trades until you become more knowledgeable and calm.
The 1-3% advantage that you get is a good start. Maintain that and also your mentality. Because market conditions will always change at any time, you need lots of plans for that.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you judge a coin/token/project by their website? on: September 06, 2018, 11:22:35 PM
Pretty simple question. At the moment 99.999% of new coins tokens and crypto project all have a telegram group (full spam and bounty hunters) , a twitter account that only posts pre-made bullish news about their own coin, a subreddit with 20 subscribers and 5 bots, a Facebook page full of 3rd world country princes asking for your eth private key.
What is left to judge a product? Only their website. But how accurate and trustworthy can a website be? White paper too aren't to be trusted, since 90% of the time they get changed work-in-progress.

What metrics do you use?
the website is not always the main benchmark for me to consider the project good or not. I prefer to rate projects through whitepapers. Because in the whitepaper clearly more info we can get
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: September 06, 2018, 07:39:11 AM
I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.
Because sometimes you have to have many plans to be able to respond to events like that. The concept of a good ICO, competent team, and HYPE is not necessarily able to succeed in running ICO because it depends on their own community. They must be in sync between developers and the community to create success in the ICO
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop using words "Bitcoin", "Crypto", "Blockchain" interchangeably. on: September 06, 2018, 07:34:36 AM
I see that very often people here start talking about blockchain or crypto or Bitcoin only to later use one of the others as a synonym to the former. This is seriously wrong, because there a huge difference between them, and they most likely have different future.

First, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, but just because it is working so well, it doesn't meant that all other cryptocurrencies are as good as Bitcoin or even better than it. Cryptocurrency requires big proof of work, network and community to be secure, it needs talented developers who write quality code. Almost all altcoins lack those things, they only exist because of the hype.

Second, cryptocurrency and blockchain. People think that those things are the same, that all these tokens and coins with platform is the same blockchain technology that is being praised by corporations and governments. But in reality, they are talking about their own centralized, private blockchains, and they are unlikely to support decentralized, open platforms. Also, most of this blockchain technology either exists only in whitepapers or in early stages of development or just disappointing.

So, the main point here is that Bitcoin is not just a cryptocurrency or an application of blockchain technology, it's overall the best cryptocurrency and the best use case of blockchain (guess why? because blockchain was invented as a part of Bitcoin). Don't talk about them like they are the same thing.
right, sometimes there is still a lot of wrong understanding about Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, and Blockchain. Not all altcoins use Blockchain, but all altcoins adopt blockchain systems. Where blockchain is part of bitcoin itself.
