I think it is funny that people keep thinking its the "whales" that are controlling the price.
You do realize that the bitcoin/altcoin markets are run mainly by bots just like the regular stock market. There are 1000's of bitcoin exchanged every day because these bots will make a trade to gain 2 satoshi profit, but do it a million times, and they get alot of cash.
The only time we will see real, non bot growth for stratis is when real people invest in it. Until then these are not "whales forcing the week hands out". Look at the rich list chart on the stratis blochain, unless you think the "whales" are the people with 20k coins, MOST large ( 200k+) wallets are NOT changing in size.
These price actions are bots responding. Stop being delusional?
Do you also think it is just the whales accumulating Dogecoin before it goes back up to 125k satoshi?
I still believe in strat, it is why I invest alot at the 3k mark. I have not sold and will not sell because it has a future, but until REAL people invest REAL money into stratis, the bots will keep doing these small bounces.
As with the current stock market, BTFD ( buy the f*cking dip).

Nice setup, love seeing the pictures. Makes me kind of envious because the last 3 years I have plenty of money, time, knowledge...
But with renting and having a wife super against anything crypto it limited me to just playing around with 2 GPUs in my personal PC. Sad days.

Soo - who thinks Stratis is going to reach 1 dollar by european summer?
A great deal of ppl think we'll see $1 this year. Im counting on Stratis to finance my graduate school in Austria this fall... and if it doesnt then I'll have to use my own savings  I have a few strat but def not a whale, but the $1 would be very niiiiiiiceeee |

A few days before the launch of Z-Cash I said this coin would go down as one of the most over hyped mine and dump coins this half of the year. Seems more and more every day I am correct. Glad I put money into Stratis instead of Zcash  |

Been mining on Nicehash miner since the very start, never had an issue. 6 cores of my 4770k and 2 AMD 480s with modded bios. Day one was about $25 a day, now its down to about $9.50 a day. Way better than the $3 I get from eth mining Sitting at about 58.X sol/s with this setup. |

Holy Scheizen the price is up alot. Really pisses me off since I dont have any more funds to buy strat until next week. Oh well at least I have a few coins when they were 2.5 cents each  . Secretly hoping for a big dump that brings the price back down to 6k so I can load up next thursday lol. On a more serious note, the Azure platform I think will def help with Stratis coin. Hopefully they will get this going, make the Market Cap go up x5 give or take, and then microsoft will offer them a $200 million market cap and then every 100 Strat coin can be redeemed for 1 Microsoft share |

Also, fun to look on the coin market cap. So many coins with literally - ZERO - use and innovation are trading for so much more than stratis.
I have very high hopes for this project, I can see it easily reaching the ~100 million market cap level based purely on the value of other pump and dump coins.

A friendly reminder fellow STRAITS followers, when you buys you s on bittrex, move them to your wallet and stake them!
This way you will not be tempted to trade and end up with less coins.
You also support the stratis network and in return get rewarded with stratis.
Also remember stratis can easily be worth $1 in not too many months from now. So if you only get 5 strat a day look at it as $5 dollars a day. $150 a month. Ca Ching!
Any stats on the current difficulty? How long till you are able to start making some STRAT by staking? The stake rate is about 1.5% per year. So if you have 10,000 coins you can expect to get 15 coins per year. Do the math for your own numbers |

But in other new Stratis at 117 BTC 24 hour volume on Bittrex. Was looking over my order history, and made me think fondly back on the days of buying for 4500-5500 satoshi.... seems those days are gone. Oh well, glad to see my investment going up in value |

I have a couple questions for the Stratis development team:
1) Does the team have a specific release date (e.g., November 23) for Cloud Stratis Beta?
2) More importantly, at what point in the development process would you guys consider Stratis to be eligible for listing on Poloniex?

You ordered 12 GPUs for mining and don't even know how to calculate how/if you will make a return.... That is sad. Here is a great calculator that I use: http://karldiab.com/EthereumMiningCalculator/It pulls all of the latest difficulty, network hashrate, price etc etc automatically so all you have to do is input the MHs on the very top line and it does the rest. Hope this helps. |
