481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: October 24, 2017, 05:54:29 AM
ICO these days are very risky because you don't know what are scams and what are legit one. So i didn't spill my money to them. They are too many. Just popping out of nowhere and everyday i see so many ICOs opening. Back in the day, there are only few ICOs are running. So it's easy to choose one. Anyway, it's profitable because they are cheaper than regular price. You'll get bonus if buy from their ICO. Usually they offers 20% -30% more coins depends on the phase of the ICO. Also has the chance to get 10x-100x profit from them if you picked a good ICO once they hits an exchange.

Better be careful joining an ICO. As i said most of them are scams. They give you tokens/coins and land an exchange. After that, that's it. Devs are no longer active and the coin is just another shitcoin on exchange. I've seen a lot of that. So choose wisely.
482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions about Fork and Bitcoin Gold on: October 24, 2017, 05:36:53 AM
I also have 0.5 bitcoins in my electrum wallet and i have private keys of that too...but where i will recieve bitcoin gold..will another bitcoingold wallet launch after that.

You can keep you bitcoin with electrum wallet or any wallet that you have access to your private keys. Just keep your private keys mate. You're going to receive the same amount of your btc after the fork. Or you can store you btc to exchanges that supports the fork. You can try Yobit, Hitbtc. Bittrex just announced lately that they are now going to support the upcoming hard fork also. They officially made a statement that they are going to support the hard fork. But i suggest that just keep them to your wallet. I think it will be more safe. But it's up to you what do you prefer.
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinGold is a Scam!?! Carefull with Your Bitcoin Private Keys!!! on: October 24, 2017, 05:16:18 AM
You should transfer your BTC private keys before it's too late. This is not a legit one mate. I made a research about that site. I found that this is based on US but the real location is hidden. https://www.scamadviser.com/is-claimbitcoin.gold-a-fake-site.html

Be careful with your private keys. Don't believe on everything you see in the internet. Read very carefully the do's and dont's when receiving BTG. The site is obviously a scam. Just only use an exchange that supports the fork

Hello. What a price of BTG will be at Bittrex?

I don't they are going to accept Bitcoin gold.

Quote
Bittrex noted that Bitcoin Gold does not meet the necessary requirements to be listed on its exchange. They also pointed out that taking a snapshot of user balances is extremely disruptive and they will have to suspend all deposits and withdrawals 24 hours before the snapshot is taken.

484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Transaction Accelerator on: October 24, 2017, 04:53:08 AM
You can try this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2114273.0
He is offering free txid acceleration service. Im not tried this yet though. But there are positive feedbacks that I've read from his thread. He has red paint on his trust rating. So be careful dealing with him. But i think you can't be scammed by just posting your txid. I think it's not harmful. Anyway, i only use https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ when my transaction was stucked once. The bad thing is. You can only use it once. Free acceleration is not working. So i have to register to have 1x acceleration. But i don't know if they are really true or not. It takes 12 hours before i receive the btc.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How WhaleClub.co stole my bot's earnings (1BTC per hour) on: October 24, 2017, 01:40:27 AM
Are you same person on this site?

You have the same situation with this guy. I have my research and i found out that some scam review site are shilling this kind of investment because the rate seems high. But if you look deeper. There are so many people were scammed by this scammers. Some of they scammed were members here in this forum including you.

- They almost tripled the spread, which made my timed entries and exits much harder.
- They wiped my account of my gained 1.5 BTC when I tried to withdraw 1 BTC.
- They blocked me on their chat interface so I am not allowed to complain about them stealing the bitcoins.
- The support never answered for a week despite I gave them tips to improve their service.
- When I choosed URGENT level, I got answer but they act as if nothing happened
The log of my withdrawal request never appeared on my profile. Only now does it work correctly.
Obviously it's only 0.01 BTC so they don't need to go and steal it.
- To this day, I have no answer why they don't send notifications when they either increase the spread fee
and when they decide to prevent you access to chat. I didn't behave incorrectly whatsoever on this chat.

Be careful next time. Make a deeper research on investment you want to join.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: POLONIEX account was at the profile page, cant see the balance and trade!!! on: October 24, 2017, 01:22:05 AM
when access the POLONIEX  account,it was at the profile page, cant see the balance and cant trade. I e-mail and twitter  their support for many times. but nobody answer it .

If there someone encounter the situation and how to solve it??/

and  would someone kindly help me???

That's weird. I have encountered that since the day i use that exchange. Maybe something is wrong with your browser. Are you using mobile platform. Make sure it's on default settings. If still not fix the problem. Then i suggest you to use other web browsers. Google Chrome is what im using right now. So far, so good. Poloniex support is not that bad compare to other exchange platform support like coinbase and yobit that not responding at all. Just wait for their response. But it will take days to receive their response. You have to figure it out yourself for now. But i really think the problem is on your browser. Just try different browser.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If No more ICO what do you do as a bounty hunter ? on: October 20, 2017, 03:16:48 AM
If ever ICOs are ban around the world. Then i think no more bounties for us. Bounties programs are the most source of income here. No bounties, no income. That's it. We have nothing much to do about that. Maybe you should stick at trading altcoin and hope for huge profits. Although, ICOs are unstoppable. I always keep that in mind. Nothing is forever. People will stick only to those altcoins available on market. I think it's good because it will be good fuel to bullish market since people will only buy altcoins available. From that, we get profit.

Star Jets International Now Accepts Bitcoin Payments

Bitcoin is Becoming Increasingly Accepted

The CEO of Star Jets, Ricky Sitomer, mentioned bitcoin is becoming a more widely adopted method of payment and their company would be remiss not to get involved. He elaborated:

"Bitcoin is becoming an increasingly accepted method of payment and we want our customers to have the flexibility to pay via that medium of exchange.

489  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap advertising Ponzi site on: October 20, 2017, 12:30:57 AM
It is what it is mate. This is what's keep the site still alive and giving valuable informations we need for statistical analysis on cryptocurrencies. Maybe this give them good profits. But this is bad because they are promoting ponzi sites. Im not sure it's a ponzi. But 12% seems suspicious to me. Anyway, it's fine to me since im aware about ponzi schemes lurking all over the internet. And wee have nothing to do about that since it's their site. Actually even on some legit sites we see some ponzi advertisements on them. So invest at your own risks. Me, i just ignore them. Quite annoying but what can we do about that?
490  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to Earn Trust on: October 20, 2017, 12:16:09 AM
Trust is something you need to work for it to earn trust. Even in reality. You need to gain someone's trust by doing something good to them. You should do this also at this forum. There's a lot of things and ways to gain trust. You can offer free services, small trades or even good deeds like giveaways. Members will leave you positive feedbacks and eventually your trust rating will be on green paint. But the system is being abused by some members here. Some members are bribing other members to give them positive feedbacks in return. Don't ever do this mate. If they found out that you abuse the system. You'll get bad feedbacks instead of positive feedbacks.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Tezos Founders Enter Legal Battle for Control of $400m in Raised ICO Funds on: October 19, 2017, 10:02:32 PM
Tezos Founders Enter Legal Battle for Control of $400m in Raised ICO Funds

Founded by husband and wife, Kathleen and Arthur Breitman, Tezos is a decentralized platform that hosts smart contracts that seeks to compete with ethereum. Tezos’ initial coin offering (ICO) did not have a cap on investment and raised approximately $232 million – at the time comprising the largest ICO crowdsale to date. The 65,703 bitcoins (BTC) and 361,122 ETH raised by the company is now worth more than $400 million USD.

The Breitmans Are Reported to Be Attempting to Attain Greater Control Over Tezos' FinancesThe Breitman couple has become embroiled in a legal dispute with Johan Gevers – the president of a Swiss foundation that was set up by the Breitman’s and an independent body that would manage the funds raised through the ICO. Both parties accuse one another of having a conflict of interest which render them unsuitable for managing the funds. It has been reported that the Breitmans are now seeking to create a new foundation, which, if they are successful, will allow the Breitmans to exercise greater control over the management of Tezos’ funds.

Reuters has reported that an attorney representing the Breitmans sent a letter to the two other members of Tezos’ board threatening that if Gevers is not removed from his position then the Breitmans will then remove their support for the project. The letter accuses Geevers of “self-dealing, self-promotion and conflicts of interest.” According to Reuters, Geevers has been asked to “step aside for a month” while the board investigates the matter further. Gevers described the Breitmans’ actions as “attempted character assassination,” and referred to the accusations laid against him as “a long laundry list of misleading statements and outright lies.” https://news.bitcoin.com/tezos-founders-enter-legal-battle-for-control-of-400m-in-raised-funds/

What do you think about this guys?

492  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Most supportive cryptocurrency countries. on: October 19, 2017, 09:52:50 PM
The number one on my list is Japan i think is the most supportive country when it comes to cryptocurrency. You can even travel there using your bitcoins and so much more as many merchants there are accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment. Next is Nigeria. Cryptocurrency is unstoppable there. There are over 100,000 merchants there are accepting Bitcoin. Next is Korea. Korea is a cryptocurrency powerhouse country because of the huge volume of transactions there for cryptocurrency. China is the biggest Bitcoin miners. But due to conflicts between cryptocurrency and the government. Their influence on crypto market became weaker and weaker.
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when is the right time to invest on bitcoin on: October 19, 2017, 02:09:28 PM
It's never too late to buy Bitcoin. Actually it's a perfect opportunity to buy Bitcoin because after the fork take place. Bitcoin holders will receive forked coins(which is Bitcoin Gold) after the fork. That's an automatic profits. I think the price is just like the last fork which is Bitcoin Cash (BCC/BCH) which the price is ranging to $300 a piece. Bitcoin i think will drop a bit for retrace and continue to go up to $6000 mark. Bitcoin Gold is not a serious one. People will just dump them like Bitcoin Cash. Segwit2x is what's people are waiting.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: in crypto world it's not about money on: October 19, 2017, 06:42:34 AM
People don't care about that much. As long as they can get huge amount of profits in return. They are okay with that. That's how it works mate. Many ICOs are just popping out of nowhere. I guess people are aware of them. They know they could be scam by them. But not all ICOs are scams. But i agree that most of them are scams. They will get money from investors and distribute tokens and landed an exchange. That's it. It's just another shitcoin landed an exchange. Im not against ICOs. But this is getting out of control. This thing should be regulate to protect people from being scammed by these scams ICOs.
495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading or HODLING on: October 19, 2017, 06:22:56 AM
That depends on your available time. If you don't have a job or you are free time. You can day trade. Day trading requires more time to spend since you have to monitor the movement every minutes and hours to look for opportunity to get some profit. But let tell you. Day trading is more risky than long term trading. We l know the crypcurrency nature. It's very unpredictable. Wild swings happens. If you have the skill. Then go for day trade. But if you are lack of knowledge on day trading. Long term is recommended. It maybe take too long to get profit. But it's more safe. Also the market still on massive correction right now. I don't think it's an opportune to day trade.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: October 19, 2017, 06:08:31 AM
Shit happen on Celtics, too bad Hayward got injured. This will change their season and sorry for Kyrie obviously Cavs will win their first game. Anyway, it's still early, there's a lot of time to recover from his injury. Much better it happen earlier rather than getting injured before or during playoffs.
That was a serious injury for hayward hopefully in the next season he can play again with celtics too bad for the celtics to see their teammate suffer with an ankle fracture hoping for his fast recovery.

Damn, Hayward's injury was nasty bruh. I thought it was just his body smashed the floor. Man, i can even hear the snap of his foot. It's very loud. Can't even look directly at his foot. I feel sorry about him. I hope he recover and able to play again with Celtics. His injury is the same with Paul George. Paul George recovered from his injury. Still play solid like he used to be. So im confident he can recover from that injury and play again soon. Anyway, the game was great. Celtics able to bounce back and gets the lead at 4th quarter. But still not enough to win the match. Celtics needs to make some adjustment since Hayward will not be able to play at the next matches. Kyrie improves his passing. He's a monster in court. He's different from the last season. He keeps on improving every season.
497  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Growing transaction volume in the Philippines on: October 19, 2017, 05:51:44 AM
There's no need to worry about the rapid grow of bitcoin transactions in the Philippines. As the government are optimistic about adoption of cryptocurrency there. https://www.google.com.ph/amp/s/www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-fast-near-real-time-convenient-philippines-central-bank-official/amp/
They just have to set parameters so everything is under control. $6 million is still small compares to other countries. They can regulate all exchanges if they want to. But the rapid growth of Bitcoin there is phenomenal. But still many people still don't know Bitcoin there. So i guess Philippines has a potential to be a bitcoin powerhouse in the future.
498  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: October 18, 2017, 12:18:49 PM
Right now we don't have much options but convert them to fiat. It's because Bitcoin still not accepted as a mode of payment. It is because they are skeptical about Bitcoin. The fuctuations of price makes them hesitant. So we have to convert and be able to buy anything we need. Some online shops are accepting bitcoin as mode of payment but they are very rare. You can even count them with your own fingers. They have partnered with third parties like exchange so they can able to liquidate Bitcoin. But hopefully we see many companies, establishment or shops accepts Bitcoin in the future. Recently, Alibaba announced that they are going to accept Bitcoin. But due to stoppage of exchange ooerations. They will not be able to do that since the third parties(exchange) are still not be able to operate.

Quote
2. what is the most efficient and cost effective way you have found for the exchanging of crypto to fiat?

Me, we have a local wallet which you can convert your Bitcoin to fiat and cashout or send it to your bank account. This very convenient to me because you don't have to send your bitcoin to exchanges just to convert it to fiat. The wallet can do that and cost effective coz you only have to pay for sending or cashout process.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in alts in 2018. on: October 18, 2017, 12:00:42 PM
Just go and look at coinmarketcap.com
All kinds of Cryptocurrencies are here. It provides details incuding it's price, and market capital.
I suggest look at top 20 altcoins there. So far, IOTA is a good investment. Very altcoin and the transaction fee is free. Still undervalue and potential to go boom next year. Im holding some, hoping i could generate good profits from it. Look also for omiseGO (OMG), WAVES and Monero (XMR). I think they are good for long term.

There are some good ICO out there. You should check them out. Soferox is a ICO though. I've been a participant from their signature campaign. I don't know what happen to their ICO. But the project is good. Why not holding them? Once it landed to an exchange. The price will pump and you could get 2x profit.

Fork Debate Drops to New Low, Outspoken Developer Lopp’s Home Surrounded by Police

Debate is a central part of the cryptocurrency community at large. Open forums such as Bitcoin.com have fostered mostly healthy fork debate about Bitcoin’s future. It appears at least one participant wished to stifle debate, and in a horrible way.

Fork Debate Turns Ugly and Dangerous

Online forums were bursting with outrage over a new low in the fork controversy popularly known as Segwit2x or the scaling debate.

“They essentially tried to get him or his family killed, only takes a simple mistake and [you’re] dead, happens regularly with [SWAT]. Essentially attempted murder, IMO. Whoever did that to him you are scum of the earth,” one poster characterized the event.

Another commenter on a rival forum added “this is dangerous and a very low move,” while yet another agreed and stated plainly, “Anyone who supports [either side in the fork debate] should absolutely condemn such tactics.”

Monday around 9 in the morning, Durham, North Carolina police were dispatched to Jameson Lopp’s house in an effort to address a hostage situation.
