1261  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 4.7 BTC for Cash Deposit on: July 23, 2013, 06:25:30 PM
OK, let me put that to my client. What does a Capital One cash deposit involve exactly - them going into a Capital One bank and putting money on the counter?
Yes they would simply deposit CASH to my account and it would show up online. I honestly have never done a BTC trade for my capital one, only BOA so far so the process would be a first for me. I know that anyone can deposit to any account with Capital One.
1262  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 4.7 BTC for Cash Deposit on: July 23, 2013, 06:21:03 PM
About $78 worth.

Don't mean to nickle & dime you but I'm in a bit of a jam. If it goes smoothly, I'll owe you one.

For that small of an amount I could accept a Capital One cash deposit, otherwise I'd rather not do it, sorry man. I understand how hard it is sometimes to get BTC.
1263  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 4.7 BTC for Cash Deposit on: July 23, 2013, 06:15:57 PM
Hey. Willing to sell partial amounts or only all 4.7?

How much are you trying to buy?
1264  Economy / Currency exchange / Sold on: July 23, 2013, 05:36:54 PM
4.73 BTC sold to user "ccuuurrrrsse" on sealswithclubs.eu.
1265  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS: 18.78$ BTC E-code for paypal $ on: July 23, 2013, 05:32:43 PM
I know lots of people have been burned with PP. I dont need the coins right now. I have a good amount. I just love getting money to btc-e and want as many members who deal with litecoin and btc-e as possible selling to me, but thanks for the positive feedback KOS.

Its not that honestly, I've been burned once for a whopping $20 and funny thing is, I won the case. The thing I HATE about paypal is that I have two accounts frozen and the only reason they give me is "We want more info on some of your recent transactions". Unlike greendot or any other money transmitting company they WILL NOT refund my balances. Whereas if you load too many moneypaks in a given time, greendot will freeze your card, however they send you a check within 30 days for the balance on the card, the right thing to do. In my view, Paypal is stealing my money and will not refund my total of $175 between the two accounts frozen. I probably will never see those funds.
1266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which site gave you the most profit? on: July 23, 2013, 05:24:47 PM
I would say https://coinprize.com is the fairest game, simply because it solely depends on the NASDAQ data, no server side generated randomness involved, completely provably fair for all players.

Problem with your site is, if its 50/50 your house edge is 19% which is absurd. Take 10% at MOST from winners not 19%, I went to your site and was going to place some bets UNTIL I saw you take 19% of all winners.
1267  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS: 18.78$ BTC E-code for paypal $ on: July 23, 2013, 05:08:32 PM
Use sublime5447, I hate paypal or I would do the trade to help you out.

1269  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it possible to "work" as a gambler and live off the profits? on: July 23, 2013, 04:56:36 AM

3)  Beating sports - it is done by very few - and I mean very fucking few.  Google Billy Walters.  Google Haralobos Voulgarious Proly gotta spellcheck those.   These 2 kill it.  A handful of others beat it.  Millions claim to know their shit and lose each week.

No there are lots of guys grinding sports. Making a lot of money of course is hard. Guys making a 50k-200k a year are more common than you think.

The problem is when you make ~25k off a book they will limit you, Vegas books are slower to do so but will do it eventually again limiting your profit potential.
1270  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it possible to "work" as a gambler and live off the profits? on: July 23, 2013, 04:55:53 AM
1)  "I make x amount per day doing x -EV gamble"  - no, you are not a pro and you will most certainly lose

2) "poker is unbeatable" - wrong, it is extremely beatable.  Just play the main event each year - massive edge, huge variance.  Just play drunk ppl at 1-2NL all over Vegas - extremely beatable, relatively boring & repetitive, beatable by a medium-skilled player for $10-$20/hr in 2013 playing at major casinos on "drunk nights" aka Thurs-Sun each week.

3)  Beating sports - it is done by very few - and I mean very fucking few.  Google Billy Walters.  Google Haralobos Voulgarious Proly gotta spellcheck those.   These 2 kill it.  A handful of others beat it.  Millions claim to know their shit and lose each week.

4) "beating poker knowing something no one else knows"  see:  Ben Lamb, Chance Kornuth, Jared Bleznick in PLO.  See Shaun Deeb in Open Face.

Sportsbetting cannot be a profession unless you live in Europe and have access to Pinnacle Sports, the only sportsbook that will accept all action and will never limit you. Otherwise, all vegas books and every US book will limit you. I advise no one to try and make a living off sports, you will get limited time and time again if you are actually good at handicapping. I've been limited already by one of the biggest US online books, Heritage Sports. I've made about $10,000 + a used Mustang I bought and still, I keep it a hobby nothing more. I am a full time finance college student working a part time job as well and do handicapping on the side. Some months it pays the bills sometimes it takes the bill money away, luckily my bank account has enough to cover losing months. Poker is the only option imo that you can make a living off of but it is VERY hard to do. Anyone thinking about trying to make a living off gambling? Well have you looked at a stock within the last year? Bet that stock has increased by 5% or more, say you invested $10k into it, well thats an easy $500. Trust me when I say there are better +EV alternatives than gambling.

It's only fun if you win  Wink
True to some extent, some asian whales gamble for truly the pleasure and if they come back with anything thats a plus to their trip.
1272  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it possible to "work" as a gambler and live off the profits? on: July 23, 2013, 04:35:54 AM
There are guys who beat sports. It is not a life of walking around in a big suit with a bunch of cash and betting games on a hunch. It's a life of doing computer programs and heavy statistics. Try looking at "Weighing the Odds in Sports Betting", "Conquering Risk: Attacking Vegas and Wall Street" for some information. You will be surprised to learn that a sharp who can beat spreads at 55% is very good (ie they lose almost as much as they win). And more so, with such an edge they should only every risk a maximum of $550 with a bankroll of $10,000.

Conquering Risk is a very good book, bought it on google play for $9.99, well worth the read. As he stated, most of your plays should only be 1-3% of your total bankroll, with top plays (like weekly or monthly plays) being 4 or 5%. I personally very rarely will go as high as 7% however last year in 2012 I made a total of four 7% plays and went 3-1 with them. Thats the highest I will go.

Ouch...saw the "biggest wins" column on the side and looks like you guys got destroyed today /: Sorry to see that and here I thought the 10 coins I won this week was a lot. Hopefully you guys are doing well financially still.

1275  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 137LTC for BTC on: July 23, 2013, 02:23:40 AM
I said to look in my reputation thread in PM. Anyways if you want the BTC, my offer is still available. Just fyi I will buy it instantly via Coinbase ( I am level 2 there and can buy BTC instantly) and will let you know when its available to send if you want to do the trade. It takes 10-60 minutes to become available to send out for some reason. When its available we can do the trade. If you want to do it let me know via PM and I will buy the BTC.
1276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting Challenge (Me vs You!) on: July 23, 2013, 02:21:31 AM

Yeah I'm on a tear right now, if Dodgers win, then I will be at 12-3 for last 15 picks. Only two of those picks greater then -150 favs.

i was patting myself on the back earlier because Garza got traded to the Rangers and was still slotted to play tonight against Arizona.  i put .2 BTC on the D-backs this morning before the trade ... still a lot of time though.

Nice! I really didn't have much time to look at lines today so only two leans I had was Pittsburgh and LAD but only chose LAD, dunno why I seem to do bad against my home teams (Washington and Baltimore), so didn't make it official. Will say this though, fade Haren and you'll make money long term.

Edit: Dodgers won so +1.05 units for the day. Record updated.
1277  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 137LTC for BTC on: July 23, 2013, 02:18:12 AM
I get angry quick when accused of being a scammer. I have worked hard to get my reputation where it is and I use my reputation thread in my signature to keep it there for ppl to see. I enjoy getting my BTC at cost and use my reputation to do so. The fact that so many people scam here pisses me off and I try everything to prevent people from getting scammed. Thus I apologize but when I get accused of looking sketchy or untrustworthy I get angry.
1278  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 137LTC for BTC on: July 23, 2013, 02:11:46 AM
Use escrow then. I have far more trades in my reputation thread and you ask me to send first. Screams scammer, if u want escrow I'll still offer my amount.

Oh hey look a $500 trade done yesterday like I SAID:

One play for today and it is official on pickmonitor. Put 1 BTC on it myself, +105 LA Dodgers ML. Good luck to all today.

Damn that play is looking wonderful!

I did Rangers ML and Rangers -1.5 with .1BTC each, so I am happy with my bets tonight.

Was going to piggy-back your Dodgers pick but didn't get home in time to deposit!  Need Oakland to come back and my Parlay is looking great (DET/TEX/OAK)

Yeah I'm on a tear right now, if Dodgers win, then I will be at 12-3 for last 15 picks. Only two of those picks greater then -150 favs.
