You interested in doing this for MMA (mostly UFC) events?

I do not follow MMA or UFC however I do watch them from time to time. My sports betting challenging includes any and all sports that are included on pickmonitor.com, which has almost every line for every sport. I'm sure they have MMA, so thus if there are enough fights, you could simply just wager on fights while I bet on baseball or football. However, the max lines tho are -200 to +200 to prevent any late big comebacks by an opponent being down like 5 units with 1 pick to go (obviously they'll pick a huge underdog then). If you are serious though I could increase the max acceptable lines to -300 to +300 for our challenge. Let me know if you are interested!

For people who have used coinbase more then 30 days ago, get your account verified and you can buy BTC instantly with no wait period (they'll debit your bank account of course within a couple days). For degens do not think you can buy and not pay coinbase, they will ACH withdrawal and thus put your account in the red even if you have overdraft protection on or whatever. For those who can control themselves, it makes buying BTC instantly very easy for only 1% over cost.

I bought .25 BTC today and it was added to my account instantly. It was sent to the desired address approx 2 hours after I requested the payment be sent.
1463  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "No 1" is a scammer on: July 13, 2013, 01:14:49 AM
Should have at least done my sports challenge for a coin before giving 12 more away like that  Undecided man I feel bad for u but in a way I don't too. You know that anyone can have a couple successful trades, but any amount over a couple hundred USD is asking to be scammed, at least do increments if you must send first and only if its someone very trusted. I hardly ever send first, but I always ask for escrow if they're not trusted or willing to send first, or will ask to do increments if they have history of multiple $500 trades gone well n im looking to buy $1500 for example.

Hopefully this guy is somehow discovered, but with his small activity I don't know if that will happen. Sorry again this happened to you.

Dude why in the world would you send first, you're trusted enough you shouldn't have to send first and could at least use an escrow...
1465  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 3-6 BTC on: July 13, 2013, 12:46:03 AM
I would open a coinbase account, buy the min .1 BTC and do all the requirements to become verified. After 30 days you'll be able to purchase up to 10 BTC INSTANTLY at only 1% over market price. No other fee. I just bought .25 BTC instantly because my account is level 2, no 4 day wait.
1466  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting Challenge (Me vs You!) on: July 13, 2013, 12:09:15 AM
KOS - I would not be opposed to a high roller Elim challenge, and this is something I could also manage if enough interest at 2 BTC but as of now I have a small number interested in 0.10 BTC.  Also since I would not be competing in this there would be that nonissue and the money for this one since is larger would be escrowed for the high roller one with John K, also with a 2 BTC I would drop fees to 3% me to run and 2% for John K escrow - total 5%, but again without 5 people in this one would it be worth running a larger pool?

We could use same thread for picks and tracking.

I'll think about it and probably come up with something of my own for highrollers or such, probably not 2 BTC though, probably 1 BTC with min 5 entries. I honestly like the idea of doing something with spreads but we'll let the public decide. I'll make a post about it in coming week or two and first poll people to see which version they would like. Also uvwvj I will be joining your pool, no worries there, however I prefer not to join things til last minute for my own personal accounting purposes.
1467  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting Challenge (Me vs You!) on: July 12, 2013, 11:47:03 PM
We can discuss further but I'd like to de a HU challenge once football season begins.  My initial thoughts are:

1) Weekly challenge for 1btc
2) 1/2 season challenge for 5btc
3) Full Season challenge for 10btc

Additionally, I look forward to you creating a survivor pool w/ 2btc entry fee.

Clearly all above can be for both NFL and NCAAF - 2 separate - not together.

Thanks

I am confident in my NFL handicapping abilities but those are def too much of my BR to put up. As for college football I generally do not handicap these as much. NFL is my main moneymaker during football season. I could do 5 BTC season, as for weekly, I generally only have 2-3 plays that I unload on, thus I don't know if I'd be interested in doing one. I might do a survivor pool however someone else is doing one so I don't want to be rude and compete with them, but if its a high roller version I could see it happening. Do you think there would be interest in this such contest:

Spread Survivor
-Each week participants choose 2 spreads (ATS) based on pickmonitor lines, and you are eliminated once you lose 5 spreads.
-Winner is last one standing.

Or we could do this sort of thing:
-Pick 2 spreads each week, best record in end wins (or could have top 2 or 4 handicappers compete in a playoff type fashion picking the spreads of every playoff game).

Let me know what you think, thanks!

Moneyman1990 has accepted the terms and sent his .25, I will send mine shortly to the address (waiting on a coinbase transfer to actually send). He requested we begin tonight so here is the official confirmation of the challenge:

1469  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting Challenge (Me vs You!) on: July 12, 2013, 10:12:16 PM
A new member has contacted me via PM wanting to do a 10 pick / 14 day challenge for .25 BTC. As I forgot about the All Star break I have requested to him to make the length 20 days for the challenge if he is up for it. Note: He has requested 12 picks / 20 days. The user "moneymaker1990" just signed up so he cannot post here. However it is my hope that by the time this challenge is over he has made his account past the newbies blocks set in place by the forum so that he can post here that he received the funds or whatever if he wins. Anyways here is the terms, please PM if you agree to it:

Challenge is 12 picks within 20 days. If a party fails to make 12 picks within the allotted time, that party forfeits. Only first 10 plays count. Every favorite wager (-xxx) is TO WIN 1 unit. Every underdog wager (+xxx) is RISKING 1 unit. The party who's total +/- units after 10 picks is higher wins. All official picks by each party must be submitted onto pickmonitor.com. The address that will hold the .25 from each member for this challenge is: 1K2G9DbHi6ZeRNea1oWLLeH8XRRcWNhSW6

If you agree to these terms "moneyman1990" please send your .25 to that address and PM me also that you accept. Within 24 hours I will do the same. The funds in this account will remain untouched until a winner has been announced in which the funds will be sent to the winner's address.
Pickmonitor accounts:
http://www.pickmonitor.com/user/moneymaker1990
http://www.pickmonitor.com/user/kingofsports

Also note, when I have multiple challenges open, my plays count for any challenges that are open. If I make a play two days from now and I have open challenges against Msbitcoin and moneymaker1990, that pick will affect my record for both challenges.

If anyone else wants to do a challenge, I am still looking to do up to 1 BTC per person, another 3.75 BTC total.
1470  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [Open] Cash for bitcoins - Sell your bitcoins for USD today, cash deposit. on: July 12, 2013, 04:14:09 PM
Please prove somehow that you are "HungDaddy" from OTC since you are not that username here. Posting a signed message from the registered GPG or BTC address under your OTC account would suffice I'd say.
1471  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 0.86 BTC with moneybookers on: July 12, 2013, 03:45:22 PM
Bitstamp.net exchange possibly, 1.5 Euro to do a SEPA withdraw I believe. Not bad honestly, no risk of getting scammed or chargedback on. Also, I am doing well, sorry for not answering sooner haha, thanks for asking!
1472  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting Challenge (Me vs You!) on: July 12, 2013, 03:30:31 PM
Bump, looking to do up to 4 BTC more, escrow is fine. 10 picks within 14 days or 25 picks within 30 days  Smiley

You can see up right next to our logo sports betting and live betting, if you click on live betting you will land on the live betting page. You can see a list of the current live events and the forthcoming ones on the left side menu on live betting page. Please note that some live events may be added to the weekly list that you can see.

I'm honestly very disappointed you do not offer MLB lines at all. Or other american leagues...was really looking forward to your live betting services.
1474  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 1.5 BTC any feasible manner is okay - relative n00b on: July 12, 2013, 08:58:43 AM
I do not have any coins to sell at the moment plus I generally only use escrow for larger transactions, because it can be quite a bit of a wait to hear back from them. If you are just looking to buy some BTC and can afford to wait some check out coinbase.com.

If you are just looking to buy 1.5 BTC I would recommend offering BOA Cash Deposit or getting a moneypak to buy with. If you get a moneypak, I can most likely find you a seller but cannot guarantee anything. Getting offline now.
1475  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMER Alpha523 - Please tag him as so on: July 12, 2013, 07:57:17 AM
Why would I bother stalking you - you are just a kid with a keyboard - I was answering DiamondCardz and I stand by my comments - I watched you nearly scam that guy.

I am 19 and have no use for a mere $100, I was held with over $1000 today for 2 escrows (1 for 4 BTC, another for 11.55 BTC) that happened at the same time totalling 15 BTC, a decent chunk of change. If I was to run off I wouldn't waste my time on a 1.3 BTC escrow. You really are stupid for persisting this and that this was potentially "my big score".  And you don't stalk me? That's absurd. EVERYWHERE I post, within a day or two you follow saying "If he scammed you, I warned ya" or something along those lines. It is incredibly immature the lengths you are going at me with NO evidence. A day or two, fine I understand people are quick to throw accusations here. But for weeks now? Cmon. I have still done many flawless transactions since for 10x that amount no problems. I have five figures in the bank and all of that has been gained in my own time working while not attending college clases. Not anyone's elses money or whatever. I even PMed user "BCB" all of my contact info and the college I attend should I ever disappear with someone's money.
1476  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 1.5 BTC any feasible manner is okay - relative n00b on: July 12, 2013, 07:48:41 AM
Paypal generally always sides with the person who sent the payment the first time they accuse of "did not authorize this payment". Thus charging back a gift is generally still able to be done successfully. I can escrow if need be, I do escrows on a poker site that uses BTC and have escrowed well over 50 BTC and have a reputation thread in my signature. However to be honest, I would rather recommend JohnK or BCB to escrow as I am not online as much as they are. If you have any questions about BTC feel free to PM me, I use BTC for the gambling aspects to help reduce in and out flow of my bank account when sports betting. Many other people use BTC for a wide array of things, not just gambling or illegal purchases. Good luck to you again.

Use escrow, your post is a scammers wet dream. Good luck to you.

Necro'ing this to add a comment.

nottm28, I highly doubt KoS is Oldsport or Alpha253. Because the coins WERE returned to Blazed, there wasn't really any kind of scam.

Agreed, the coins were returned and I said there was no scam - but he only returned the coins after pressure applied to his rep from the community- he was going to split the money with what now, is known to be a scammer (i.e. one of his socks imo), I think he owns many sock puppets - all you have to do is see the similar language used in the posts by those who 'back him up'...

[EDIT] Especially the use of CAPS - you want to see the angry private message I kept from him where I think there were 7 or 8 characters not in CAPS. So I agree the coins WERE returned...

[EDIT] I also think KingOfSports = stayeduptolate because he also doesn't know how to spell 'too' - and they always post in the same threads 'backing each other up'.

I'm also Thymos, JohnK, and oh nottm28, yup thats right I am trying to accuse myself of being a scammer! Just kidding Smiley This guys stalking of me honestly has gone from angering to honestly funny I'm mot a scammer and your whole accusstion based on that "big score" idea however funny thing is I did my largest escrow today on seals! 15.5BTC to be exact. All went well. I will not escrow foranymore then 25 BTC ever. To address your new "accusation", me and stayeduptoolate post our sportsbetting plays on here. If you go thru his picks and mine youll see that a couple yimes we have had picks that go against each other in the same event. If we were the same person why would we do this when no matter what betting both sides would always lose you money. I look forward to hearing the next person you think I am. Gives me a chuckle now. As for any mispellings I am on my cell phone posting and typing this.
