It's not that an easy thing as you are saying that way. It's better to put this amount by investing into trading where you are already have decent knowledge on it. And you know the risk and you know what can happen with your investment, also you can buy some properties that are appreciating yearly just like lands or real estate. I love to agree for real state investment rather than putting some huge money on unsure situation. Remember online investment is so risky not unless if he invest in his own online business and rebuild some name and compete with others who cames first. And tradings is not a happy go lucky scene always since their are some certain scenarios that we doesn't know on what is the devs plan for his coin and suddenly do some bad or good moves about that can totally affects us a lot. This is the best investment for me together with bitcoin. But it's better to see your investment. When you've got real estate or land you can simply use it for building an establishment that can be your very own business and investment or you can also use it for renting that can generate monthly income which is guaranteed. For the start i think much better to invest in bitcoin it will grow faster, after you will generate income or your investment got doubled then that is the time to invest for the real estate or land because value of bitcoin is increasing much faster than land for now that is why i recommend it to invest in bitcoin first. |

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)
I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.
Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)
Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)
Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.
Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.
What will you do with all you money? Spend it. But if I were you, I will just go back continue trading because as you what have said you have learned so much in trading. I think if you didn't stop, you could have double your btc right now. Agree with you mate just continue to trade and earn money, or you do not need money anymore that is why you do not like to trade again. You also have good capital and that will generate good income also. Me i do not stop trading until i can earn for this method, i need money for my future. |

Find some promising new altcoin in Alternative cryptocurrency/announcement section of this forum and invest in their ICO. But be careful in investing. And you must try to go in other forum or search some news about the coin you want to trade do not stick on 1 news that you read and also just read the history of the coin to be your basis on investing. i recommend that you would invest that amount you can afford to lose. |

I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)
I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.
What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

for me in local exchanger , but i think this is very dangerous because we do not know bitcoin for 5-10 years in future , be better if you save or investmen you can use real money like dollar  to me i think i keep it in online wallet. My bitcoin was divided in multiple bitcoin wallet, but i have main bitcoin wallet which is the local wallet in my country which has good offer services for its users. and also i have bitcoin in some trading site to get some extra income and also to entertain me. |

Not true BTC is too slow
How do you distinguished that bitcoin is slow? In the past 2 years bitcoin value in around 300 - 400 dollars, for me the progress of bitcoin is great and not slow and if you invest on the past 2 years i think you feel that you are lucky with bitcoin. And also i think that bitcoin has a competition because more other coin wanting to go on the top to replace bitcoin but bitcoin will remain number 1 because bitcoin has continuous adopted by more people in the world. |

Here everyone knows that the currently the price of the Bitcoin at the peak of the sky . But due to the increase of the price the price of less famouse altcoins are became down . Anytime is a good time for trading provided you know in which coins to invest and when to buy and when to sell. If you are clear about this then you can trade at any time. No definitely wrong i guess you don't know how trading works , it is basically selling high and buying low and if you take the case of bitcoin the price just had a drop so for a few months the price is mostly going to grow only. So imagine you sell your bitcoin at 1100$ and price grows to 1300$ so that's a pure loss for you. Trading is mostly timing and a bit experience is also required. Yes that is right, that is how trading works, It is all about doing trades by buying at the low price of the coin and selling it for an expensive or higher price than the price that you bought in. It is very easy to do if you have a great knowledge in trading because you can analyze well and you can identify if the price is a good opportunity to buy or not. Agree with you mate, you need full knowledge in trading method that is one of the advantage to get more profit because not all coin can increase the value if you only do buy with low price and sell in higher price you will put your money at risk. That is why if you are real trading you will always keep in track on the fluctuation of the price. |

Mostly problems bitcoin problems would might face in future 5 years is ofcourse technicality issues on system.Yeah bitcoins is been living in the industry for a long time but it may still experience technical failures in system or the whole network I think that issue will be fixed for next couple of years and every time bitcoin faces some problems the operators will find ways to fixed it immediately that why bitcoin was continuous doing great to serves all users and we always see the good progress every year passed. And we are hoping that in the coming years would be much better, would gives us more profit and would be stable of its price in higher level. |

I have saved 4 bitcoins
wow. you are so lucky that you've saved 4 bitcoins. earning and saving 4 bitcoins is not so easy. for most of people it is matter of years. BTW how long it took you to make 4 bitcoins? 4 btc is a really a good amount to save as of now when the price of bitcoin is too high but if we would been part of bitcoin community in 2008 or 2009 then we would be having unlimited amount of bitcoins by now as at that time there were many faucets sites that were paying 1 btc every 15 minutes  There is not much of a point to think on what it could have been we must be glad that we are part of the community, bitcoin is not even 10 years old so we are still part of the early adopters, if bitcoin keeps increasing its value then obtaining 1BTC will become even harder as time goes on. Even at current price its very hard to earn small amount of bitcoins and it will get even harder as time goes on and as price gets higher so I think we should not miss any opportunity of earning bitcoins at a moment as scenario will not be the same in future. That is what i do now, i keep collecting bitcoin as many as i can because i know that bitcoin value is going to increase higher than we expect. And also i start to learn trading method which i know there are lots of users are being rich because of this method and i want to be one of riches people by doing that method in bitcoin. |

And at .12/kwh USD, your roi would be way too long (even at modest 2% diff increase) - if ever on an antminer. You need to be at .10kwh at worst.
Correct you should consider first the electricity rate for that .12/kwh USD seems its high rate. But if you really willing to mine with that rate your patience will be test. i recommend to you mate if the solar mining is applicable in your area just try it and you will gain much better income for that equipment. |

Me i do not used bot in trading because im the one who monitor my trade coins because now i am learning some easy patten on how to do manual trading and how it will works.
And i do not also trade in more altcoin i only trade with two or three because i do not take big risk for my investments.

I also have plan investing in offline business i guess in time when i had enough btc to start with. since i already have cellphone and accessories business, im planning to build an extension in big malls here which is a good starting point to grow more my income, when i reach the amount i need for doing that i will definitely try my luck.

You are making a low amount of money but at least you got a plan and you are following it which is way better than most people that I know, your best bet seems too raise enough capital and then begin trading, you can use the time it takes to raise your capital as time for studying the markets and decide in what alts to invest. And it's still too early for you to learn a lot of things here in forum and dedicating 4 hours daily here in forum will give you a lot of things to earn and learn. PTC's doesn't really pay that much and it's hard to earn there, mostly you are just wasting your time there. Trading will be the best way to give you some decent income but for a newbie don't expect that it will give you good amount as you begin. That is why it is better to take our time, no one begins knowing everything about anything that I why we need to read a lot and inform ourselves, being in this forum is already a step in the right direction and if you add another sources and some book then you can learn very rapidly the basics of trading. Agree with you, that this forum is steping stone to be a good trader and we have choice to explore other forum, site and other related topics on trading method to become a good trader because more knowledge on trading is the advantage to get more profit every time you do trading and it would helps to lessen the risk of you money. |

often people assume that the transaction using bitcoin have to wait for some confirmation, if in this case the business selling hot coffee using bitcoin have to wait how the confirmation then need you to be quiet because a lot of time wasted by your customers, so my advice if you want more do not use confirmation in today's payment transactions for each transaction of bitcoin was not going back again just takes time to get into the purse of the recipient.
I do not think you can removed the confirmation for the online transaction specially in bitcoin. But you think business which is do not need for rushing all the transaction you need to consider the time frame of the confirmation and i do not think customer used this in buying coffee. |

Of course i save bitoin is not for fun, i mean i earn and save my bitcoin for something else, like trading, gambling and future purpose like investment too. Because if you look at the price of bitcoin, the price is keep increase and the future of bitcoin is really good there.
Correct and that also what i did to my bitcoin i save it for my future. And also i do not stop to collect bitcoin because i know that it would helps me to pay all my depts since my salary is not enough that is why i am happy that i discover bitcoin and this is great other source of income |

For me i do holding bitcoin before but now i do buy and selling because i want to take the Advantage of the fluctation of the price and i really make good profit for this method. And if the price of bitcoin dump so big and i do holding it again until the value was recover.

I think i should visit that site i love to shop online and using bitcoin to shop online is much better than using my credit card. Hoping in the future more online shops accept bitcoin as mode of payment. I am happy if that will happen we can used it directly without exchanging into fiat. |
