1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nicehash repayment ??? on: October 21, 2020, 04:14:14 AM
As they stated they are still committed to fully repay everyone!
Just look at here: https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/nicehash-repayment-program-update

Quote
"As stated in the previous paragraph, we will continue with legal procedures and we are committed to fully repay everyone. Unfortunately, at this point in time, we cannot give you any time estimates of the full repayment."

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: October 18, 2020, 05:39:06 AM
Seeds are safe when you keep them offline that's why I prefer storing mine in papers and lock them away until I need them, storing on mobile phones and windows PC is very dangerous. I am not storing them on a PC which I use to access the wallets when I need to access the wallet I just copy them directly to the access area.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: October 15, 2020, 01:22:05 AM
Bitcoin is still a young asset and every asset begins with high volatility. This market is influenced by different variables. Demand and supply are very important in this case but in addition, the international market and economic recession, consumer purchasing power, bank interests, bad news or good news, the tax treatment of Bitcoiners, rate of Bitcoin investments in high inflation countries, and speculative impacts work much more in this market.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc future on: October 07, 2020, 05:28:07 AM
I believe that it will still exist after a decade and People can go back to this thread so that we will see how huge the adoption will by that time. bitcoin is the answer to world economic problems. Bank systems are bad systems, they even double money causing inflation, and cryptocurrency is the answer, especially Bitcoin that has limited supply.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: September 30, 2020, 06:47:56 AM
I memorize it. A 12-word seed is a lot easier to memorize than most people thought. But I understand that this is definitely not for everyone. another way is writing it on a paper. with a paper, you can just keep it at your house or in your physical wallet. I'm keeping my phrases written on 2 pieces of paper. One of them is among my notes but it's hard to notice. Somebody would have to know what to look for to find it.
6  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Not your keys, not your Crypto Kucoin Hacked! $150m Stolen. on: September 27, 2020, 12:08:15 AM
I lost coins when BTC-E was hacked a few years ago. Actually, it may not have been hacked because so many people believe that the owner stole the percentage of coins for himself. It is all the exchanges' responses to keep coins safe. the list of hacked exchanges is getting bigger over time. This is a huge problem for users and I believe exchanges should invest more in security and put more effort to protect the users. It's an additional investment for them but without that, they will not survive.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future holds for bitcoin on: September 25, 2020, 03:17:38 AM
Bitcoin was meant to be used as a currency. But it is understandable that with the huge price rise many people will just hold. Many big investors keep saying bitcoin will be at least $100.000 in a couple of years. So Holding is the wisest decision currently as high growth in the forthcoming months. as long as traders practice HODLing the price will definitely rise and also influence the altcoins to be stabilized as well.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: September 23, 2020, 05:12:58 PM
I am a newbie on this forum and I have read my posts that people complaining how they lost their fund as a result of investing on Volatile coin like BTC. Is it now advisable for newbie like me to invest on less Volatile coin like Tether or Gemini USD.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as investment in stablecoin. This is the crypto world, the most volatile investment ever. People are taking profit from the unstable market. If there are some coins that very stable, then how you making a profit from that? But if you looking for the most less volatile coin you can invest in Dogecoin.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin be introduced into the educational sectors on: September 18, 2020, 12:57:23 PM
Bitcoin is a new technology and an additional part of computer programming that has been able to create a revolution in the global economy. I am sure that in the coming years, Bitcoin can be a part of the discussions in many educational institutes. If bitcoin teaches in educational sectors many people will gonna benefits from it. Gaining another level of knowledge in order to know the new way of currencies in our world. it enables the next generations to understand the crypto world better and make solutions to the challenges that forthcoming.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: September 15, 2020, 10:36:54 PM
Your strategy and what you have done seems really good. The best thing to do is to forget about your shitcoins and just focus on real projects that have futures. if you think if sell all your shitcoins and buy some top coins, that is not the problem. You are not alone on this one, I have some worthless tokens in my wallet as well that are still valueless, I'm not sure someone will buy it for free. Even if someone wants to accept it, then the action is ridiculous and a waste of time and money. I wish I could sell them before their price dropped by whales.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Strong!!! on: September 12, 2020, 10:49:20 PM
Bitcoin will hit at least $30,000 at the end of this year probably, and altcoins follow it. So, just hold now then you will get more profit by doing this. But Sell the altcoins which have no potential and no news from the developer. Don't sell altcoins that have the development progress and legit team.
However, each person chooses his personal strategy, which works only for him. Even if I tell you about my strategy, there is no guarantee that this strategy will bring you the same profit as for me. Convince yourself by your own research and learnings don't convince yourself by others. Although it is good to hear and take some advice, you should pick the best and not the scrapped.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction by 2021 on: September 12, 2020, 10:49:05 AM
Next year there will be a lot of people buying bitcoin because they believe miners will not have any coins to sell. Almost all predictions by huge people keep saying that BTC will surge in 2021. In my opinion, this is likely true based on historical data, timeline on BTC progress, and many fundamental related cases. However, Some miners already started to save up Bitcoin and they have been doing that for years. It is possible we will experience another bearish season in 2021.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your plans for the coming bull on: September 11, 2020, 05:34:13 PM
The best way to trade a bull market is to buy altcoins instead, they can rally like crazy. This is the strategy that I have had for all the time that I have been involved with cryptocurrencies, So I accumulate more altcoins, sell some only when I see the bubble, and the inevitable correction of it. Largely now I am invested in high potential return altcoins like Ethereum, Monero, and ADA. Hopefully, in the next bull cycle, we see a less volatile in the market and many more people will be wise for their holdings.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: September 08, 2020, 11:29:52 PM
Make it simple. I explain by "You remember back in the day you paid for everything with cash, and then sometime in the 1980s you got that plastic thing called a credit card? Bitcoin is like the next credit card, except there tons of new cool things that you can do with Bitcoin that you can't do with a credit card". Then I continue by "I'm interested in crypto because I don't like the way the money system is due to its debt". I didn't really go into detail about bitcoin, because I personally don't want people to invest in bitcoin.

17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins can hit either $8k or bounce back to $10k - volatile times are back? on: June 16, 2020, 09:30:53 AM
The volatility of bitcoin's price and all cryptocurrencies is their nature. There are always pumps and dumps in the cryptocurrencies market. So knowing the price if it would go high or down is really hard. We recently had a slight price fall and bitcoin fell to $9,300. This was an opportunity for a small enter and exit but I decided not to use this occasion because I thought that maybe the next movement after this would be still downward not upward. I think This month bitcoin tends to fluctuate between $9000 and $9900 and this $900 movement is the room to play in the market.

18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: June 15, 2020, 11:28:46 PM
Bitcoin has been very volatile over the past days with a few days of great gains followed by several days of losses which is very confusing to us who are trying to set up trades. Don't forget Bitcoin is not a stable currency. It is difficult to give precise information on when the price will rise and fall. However, The price of bitcoins is being wished to go to the moon or pump massively by all investors and holders, I'm also wishing the price to pump but no one knows the future let's be wise as we are hoping for this to take advantage of the current price pumps.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC really be a safe haven? on: June 03, 2020, 01:46:49 PM
No investment is ever and will ever be called a safe haven. Regardless of the asset, there is always someone or some company speculating that they will make a profit out of your investment. Real estate is likely one of the biggest assets that everyone at one point in their life is going to be in contact with. And here as well many millions can be made or lost. The advantage with crypto is that there are no middlemen that are attempting to make a profit from you as well as here it is us that are trading directly. But of course at great risk as with everything else.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will hit all Time high(ATH)? on: June 03, 2020, 08:14:37 AM
Ethereum can go up to $1,400 in the long term but not in 2020. Because it is highly affected by whales, whenever the price goes high they disturb the market with increasing the selling pressure. From $240 to $1,400 it is a long path. Whenever its price will rise with a good amount it will be affected by whales so rising up to $1,400 it will take a long time.
