861  Economy / Speculation / Re: So USA seems to have picked Donald Trump. Help or hurt btc prices. on: November 09, 2016, 03:24:16 PM
It is helping bitcoin actually.
$726 from $709 before the results came in late last night.

Trump money helping btc it seems. Grin

People react to the market volatility, but the price will adjust itself in the long run. Even if the price claims after Donald Trump won yesterday, this morning the price decrease.

Action = Reaction Wink

I strongly believe the future of Bitcoin will not change with Donald as president of the United States.

862  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Online games that can earn bitcoin? on: November 08, 2016, 10:51:08 AM
I would like to see one day a real game economy with the bitcoin currency. The game should provide will value to play it and have fun in the same time. The game should provide challenge, include crafting or you sell the stuff or trade with the other players.

Well, you can try make trades and lend some money on poloniex Wink If you have a good imagination, you can work with it like it was a game... You have a lot of options of altcoins to buy and sell and try to make some profit, btw you have to invest.

People talk often about this site on this forum, I should invest some time to get more information if I can trust this site and use it. I will put in my mind, the poliniex game where I can trade for the grow of my bitcoins Wink
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 08, 2016, 10:41:11 AM
I think trading right now is really good source of bitcoin. Another thing is creating your own business that accepts bitcoin as a primary payment. Bitcoin industry is rising and through your business you can somehow promote it as well

You can create a business about Bitcoin. The business in question could be something like a blog on bitcoin and you monetize it with bitcoin affiliate programs.

Also, invent a new way to create something useful from it in order to be the next bitcoin millionaire.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Used a Bitcoin ATM in a gas station today on: November 07, 2016, 03:18:42 PM
Wow is so amazing that you have the opportunity to use a bitcoin ATM machine at your gas station. I have some ATM machines in my own town, but so far I haven't use it. The machine was easy to use it ?

One day, I strongly believe those machines will increase in popularity.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 07, 2016, 03:11:25 PM
It trully is a waste of time. They will never understand it. Kids and teenagers don't want to hear about how a currency works or any of the details, they will find it boring, they can't be bothered, most adults can't, let alone kids and teens, let's just focus on making bitcoin work as expected by casual people.
But if you leave the teenagers and kids from focusing on improving bitcoin how do you carry the young ones along ? You can't be doing that without the involvement of young people because they are the ones to replace you tomorrow. For sure, a way to put them through must be created to solve any possible future challenges so that we could have better system for bitcoins.

In the contrary, we should invest time to teach them this amazing technology. The children are the one who will replace us and use it in the future.

Mostly, lot of them will learn it by themselves, but we need to educate them and give financial literacy, so they will make better financial decision.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: November 07, 2016, 03:03:54 PM
Yes.  You can just use vpn or tor powered browser . I know some bitcoin users who still uses bitcoin even tho it is banned from their country.  I think they also use vpn or something.

If my government will ban the Bitcoin and make it illegal I think I will simply try to convert it in fiat currency from my country. For the moment in my Country the Bitcoin will not be banned Smiley

This technology is so amazing and the government should invest time to learn it and adopt policies instead to fight against it.
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin help your life in daily needs? on: November 07, 2016, 02:55:27 PM
Bitcoin helped me a lot in some though life situations when I was lacking money. I can use it to pay some bills and everyday stuff in supermarket (with my Bitcoin debit card) or I can change it for fiat if I need cash. So that I can say that it has important role in my life.

Good for you. I believe many other people were already helped by Bitcoins also this way. This currency currently serves as an extra income to boost our monthly finances. As we can't buy stuff directly with Bitcoins in many places, we need to exchange it into our local currency to use the money. This way Bitcoin helps a lot.

For me bitcoin is for only an investment for the moment. I see it like finding gold nuggets and get some value for the future. Also, I love to check my wallet increase slowly and surely and see the variation of this currency.

I see it like to have my own bank account in my cell phone Wink
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 07, 2016, 02:46:33 PM
The best source Bitcoin is some job where you can earn it. If you have some special skills and knowledge that people need and are willing to pay for them in Bitcoin.
Trading is risky and you need to be quite experienced if you want to earn something.
I wouldn't name gambling as a source for Bitcoins, it's like you would say that your source of income is lottery. Mining is not so profitable anymore, it's hard to get some Bitcoins, so I stick with idea to earn it with some job.
Even signature campaign is not the bad start.

I agree with the information your provide. In my case I am news to the Bitcoin world and this community. So far, the only way I got some Bitcoins is with on my cell phone.

Also with the signature campaign it gives me some more bitcoin and I am very happy with it so far. In the near future I would like to try the trading, so many people discuss about it on this board.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin without china, how would it look? on: November 07, 2016, 02:36:25 PM
so whether or not the recent panic turns out to result in some action, i for one think china killing off the bitcoin exchanges at some point is a total certainty.

they think nothing of directly intervening in their stock and property markets and bitcoin is nothing but a tiny thorn in their side that might grow into a tree some day. it's of no benefit to the government.

in that scenario what do you think happens to bitcoin? mining aside, china contributes nothing to development, there's no actual bitcoin economy there and the exchanges are all probably bucket shops. at the same time of course the exchanges lead the west by a long way, though i'd guess many people on there are westerners anyway.

does it fatally hole the bitcoin market for a long period of time? is western volume reinvigorated when the traders migrate back? does chinese mining fade away and change into hardware sales and not much else? would many or any chinese people rig up some type of black market?

would the chinese government attempt to moderate it recognising that they'd be left behind if it was squashed or would they not care?

what do you think?
well acc to me
-pools will move to india
-as it will move to india it will legalised  all over the world
-bitcoins would  be used as currency
kudoos Smiley

The pool will move where the cost of electricity will be the cheaper possible in my opinion. On any markets, where you can make a profit they will have people who will continue the operations of mining and make some profits from it.

The world will continue even if the Chinese government will ban it in my opinion.

870  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: November 07, 2016, 02:26:56 PM
I think I read somewhere an estimation of up to 2 million being irreversibly lost. This means max 19 million in total should be available to investors/holders/miners.

Two millions of bitcoins are lost forever that is a huge amount. The same thing happen in the real world, when someone died or forget about an old bank account.

The money stays there without no one to claim it.
871  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Smart, When Investing Your Bitcoins In Various Sites on: November 07, 2016, 02:14:44 PM
Right from the beginning, the internet is just representing what we are and what we are doing offline. And we are just bringing ourselves into online but with greater field as it can be on a global scale.

There are scammers offline and of course there would be online as anonymity can easily be accomplished and the market to scam can be so big.

Yes, we have to be careful though at the same time we should be able to recognize real opportunities from fake and scams.

Exactly, you must be careful and do your due diligence before investing on any websites with you are earned bitcoin currency. Imagine your work for 2 mouths and you got 0.02 Bitcoin into you wallet. You invest it on a website that promise you to double it in 2 weeks.

The next morning you check the website and find it does not exist anymore, you feel guilty and the pain inside.
872  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: November 06, 2016, 07:43:04 PM
Didn't expect many users above 30 honestly. This is a good sign, it means Bitcoin has a wider public than previously thought.
yes youngsters are more in the field of bitcoin but it is not right that not much from above that age. I have saw a lot of people who are older in age who are using bitcoin there are some people who are retired from their day job and now they in search of online earning are working with bitcoin to earn their living.

I think more and more people will adopt the bitcoin technology. Bitcoin is for everyone and I think people from 0 to 100 can use the technology and learn how to use it.

I think the average in age should be around the end of 20 and the beginning of 30.
873  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 06, 2016, 07:20:56 PM
yes anyone can be get a richest person through bitcoin if they buy bitcoin with low price and then hold it for long time and i think this time is right time to buy bitcoin in huge amount and then hold it for the next year i am sure bitcoin will be reach its price to 2000$ and then you can be get a big profit from bitcoin.

i don't it's so easy as you make it to be, because to be rich first of all you need tob uy a large amount, but by buying a large amount you are contributing to increase the price, so other might dump, if you really think you can just be rich by buying one bitcoin and waiting for 2140 or whatver, you are being naive here

Just buy and hold and hope you will be rich, you can also wait and get no money. The best way is to see it as an opportunity to increase your assets and hope it will increase in value. But, you need to invest in other area also, don't put your investments in only one bucket.

875  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: November 05, 2016, 03:28:05 PM
actually it is not easy to get passive income at online work .
in case of bitcoin we can't sure how much we can make . but we will remain in average of monthly earning .
well my best passive income is only from the signature campaign and trading at exchange sites .

You cannot consider passive income from trading operations and signature campaign because if you stop writing and trading, the money will stop flowing into your direction.

I think we can invent a new type of business. Create a website in order to let new companies start an IPO and sell shares in Bitcoin and give dividends every 90 days for an example. This will be a real passive income. Also, you will have the option to sell the shares on the market.
876  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 05, 2016, 03:09:04 PM
Hmm... according to Peter Todd this farm would be as much as 75% of world's hashing power: https://twitter.com/petertoddbtc/status/793877455639498752

Having 75% of the world's hashing power in one location and controlled by one company is actually terrifying.
I feel like if this actually happens it will greatly affect the entire Bitcoin ecosystem.
China will definitely be firmly in control of Bitcoin, even more so than they currently are...
It is a very large mining farm, it is not a very good news, the last thing we want is one country controlling the miner because of the whale activity, we need another party to balance the mining, so it is not controlled by china, but i should say China really develop their technology for bitcoin, the good effect is our transaction speed will be faster, the bad side is, if this continue china can control bitcoin

I am not an expert on the security of bitcoin, but I remember when I read a book about the subject. If someone reach 51% of the mining, it can make an attack or something around it. That could be dangerous if China control most of mining operations. Also, I know the electricity cost is not very high and they should make a nice profit from it.

Otherwise, they will not invest to develop on infrastructure of this size.
877  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 05, 2016, 02:59:49 PM
yeah its possible to get rich with bitcoin if we buy bitcoin in big amount and then hold it for the future and bitcoin suddenly cross the 4000$ price and then we can get a big profit from bitcoin and we can be getting rich with bitcoin easily.
Of course it’s possible but the problem is the starting cost, for example bitcoin right now is around 700 dollars if it were to reach 4000, then the only thing left is your definition of rich I suppose that for some people that is becoming a millionaire, in order to reach I million dollars in bitcoin at the price of 4000 you will need 250BTC that in order to buy at current prices will cost you 175k dollars, that is a lot of money, some members may have that amount but I’m pretty sure most of us don’t.

With the current price at 700$ usd, you need 175000$ to buy 250 bitcoins into your wallet. For myself, I can't afford to do that and a lot on this board as well.

The only way most of us will succeed is with constant hard work and the dream to reach that level to become rich one day Smiley
878  Bitcoin / Project Development / Would anyone be interested in a PTC/GPT Website? on: November 04, 2016, 07:07:45 PM
I did some PTC couple years ago and is always hard to reach the minimum payment without invest on the website.

What do you have in mind on the payout for your future members? When you reach 20000 or more, you can do a request for a payment?
