821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if...Satoshi Nakamoto suddenly burns 1 million bitcoins? on: November 17, 2016, 05:24:27 PM
I think he could send it to my wallet and I will take care of it Wink.

Personally I don't think something will happen because the bitcoin will flow into the network like the money in circulation in the real world. Also I think the price will stay the same even is he will decide to sell most of it for real money.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 17, 2016, 05:13:40 PM
Well, you would have to define what is legal and illegal first. In some countries certain things are legal, while in other countries those same certain things
are illegal. If you are wondering if anyone got in trouble with the law by doing something with bitcoins, just take a look at the recent news in your country regarding bitcoin, as long as the source can be trusted an event will most likely be there. Most certainly, illegal activities have been made in the past using bitcoin, but the same activities are also being done by regular currency. So bitcoin is not the culprit!

I agree with you that illegal activities have been made with typical currency or bitcoin. Nothing will change someone who will want to commit a crime or go against the rules on his own society. We cannot take for granted that only criminal are you using Bitcoin, the majority of people are honest and the same are true with people who using fiat currency as well.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The channel on YouTube that talking about bitcoins and other. on: November 17, 2016, 04:36:56 PM
Do you promote you own channel or you share this for one of your friends? I check rapidly the videos titles, but I think the content is too broad, also is look like people only discuss about the technology.

You should add content with shorter videos, for me is too long to check a video of over 1 hour on Youtube.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / EBay and Bitcoin on: November 17, 2016, 10:53:18 AM
I think the only reason Ebay will never accept bitcoin on the first place is that you can't do a chargeback when you do a purchase and something happens with the stuff you bought. Also Ebay and Paypal are the same companies, Paypal see the bitcoin crytocurrency as a treat and I don't think it will accept it as a payment form.

That my opinion, the future will tell Wink
825  Economy / Economics / Re: Chandler Guo : "Bitcoin could reach 1 million dollar" on: November 16, 2016, 03:11:50 PM
Maybe in my dreams that thing can happen. It doesnt even reach a thousand a piece. Its just making laugh. I dont really think this thing could happen. Too far from what i expected and too good to be true. If bitcoin still exist for about million years maybe theres a chance. But not sure if earth exist that time. Lol

For now, the price of bitcoin is already good at the current price and is increasing slowly, I think it could reach 1000$ usd. But, at 1million dollar each bitcoin, I will be very happy and I don't think this would happen in the near future.

The time will tell what is going to happen of the valuation of bitcoin.
826  Economy / Economics / Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: November 16, 2016, 03:03:05 PM
The only problem is with the banks, the blockchain will be centralized and controlled by the banks. Bitcoin will stay unique with a decentralized technology, so in my opinion is my reason people should buy bitcoin.

Furthermore, any governments have not the ownership of Bitcoin and this is a good advantage.
827  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The safest wallet? on: November 16, 2016, 12:44:08 PM
Just try bitcoin core or electrum if you don't want online wallet and also I suggest to you that buy hardware wallet that can surely secure your bitcoin.

Pi Wallet - cold storage.
TREZOR The Bitcoin Safe.
Ledger HW.1 - USB Smartcard Hardware Wallet.
Ledger Nano - USB Smartcard Hardware Wallet.
Ledger Unplugged - NFC Smartcard Hardware Wallet.
BWALLET TREZOR clone.
KeepKey: Your Private Bitcoin Vault.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Hardware_wallet

I plan to buy the Trezor when I reach a good amount of Bitcoin. For now I am using the Mycelium application on my cell phone and I import the private key with the 12 words.

Put the 12 words in a safe place, in case I lost my phone or the phone will crash.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin woke up the Giants on: November 16, 2016, 11:05:21 AM
Bitcoin has not just brought us a decentralized P2P payment system or a alternative for the banks. It woke the Giants in the Fintech world. Before Bitcoin, clients at banks were treated as the scum of the earth, even more so, when you are middle class or poor.

Bitcoin came in and they threatened to disrupt the Banking and Remittance services. What happen? These financial services realized that they will lose money, and they suddenly dumped Billions of dollars into Blockchain based technologies and also user-friendly banking services with 24 hour access via Social media platforms like Facebook Messenger and WeChat and some of their own in-house apps.

We have not seen this level of attention given to clients for many years. Why, because the Giants were comfortable with their foot on our neck. They had the monopoly, backed by governments.

We should support Bitcoin to keep these Giants on their toes. If Bitcoin fails, these Giants will go back to sleep and we will be stuck with high fees and poor service.

I don`t think that the banks improved their service because of bitcoin.

They improved their services because they compete against each other and want to get more customers.

I don`t think that most of the banks see bitcoin as a major competitor.

I agree that with your statement banks are competing each other to have more clients, without clients a bank cannot survive. Another example, now bank offer a new option that you can deposit a check simply taking a picture from your smartphone. Every bank will copy this idea and offer them to their clients in order to have advantage over they competition.

Right now they don't see it like a big threat, but if the bitcoin continue to rise and get more attention, the perception will change.
829  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: November 16, 2016, 10:52:28 AM
I think the way to get a steady income is to work and you will be assigned the revenue each month, or you have a business because you can collect revenue for each day. bitcoin only you can do to have the extra income is not regular income.

Whatever you is to find something you enjoy and the money will come into your wallet. Normally you need to save at least 10% of you income on autopilot, your saving will grow slowly.

Every extra can make a huge difference, even if you get some bitcoin every week, is money you will not have it on the first place.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s Biggest Wallet Provider Is Having Its Best Month Ever on: November 15, 2016, 03:46:57 PM
This is really a chain reaction. Current economic situation plus Brexit and the so-call "American Brexit" election result, have all driven people to look for potential escape. I think more will come and the last month of 2016 and early 2017 will be an exciting period, esp when Segwit activation is possible and we have been promised the MU2 etc etc.

I agree with you, people are looking for another way to put they hard earned money in security. We live a world of change as we have seen it with the brexit and the United States election.

I think people start to realize that to possess some bitcoins is to have the same thing as holding gold because the bitcoins is limited to only 21 millions.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin woke up the Giants on: November 15, 2016, 03:36:56 PM
I think bank will try to create they own cryptocurrency, but in the end is almost to make a profit. They don't have the control over Bitcoin and they scare to lose some market share, the reaction is to try to convince people with advertisements.

When a government of a bank lost control, they feel insecure because they own entity can disappear or they power diminish.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explain this address on: November 15, 2016, 03:23:31 PM
I was just dicking around on the 100 richest Bitcoin addresses, when I found this:

https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/address/19PPeuu4jPjqtefSQ2FDgKmNJ88Z5wiuJt

I can't understand.
This guy bought 10000 BTC, and then let them there, and OK, an investment for the future.
But then you see there's dust and dust and more dust added to this address.
What could have happened here?
Did he buy some cloud mining scam and put automatic payment to this address?
Just curiosity.

I would like to have that account in my possession Wink. I think it could be a rich person or a group of investors who speculate on the price of the bitcoin to make a nice profit.

You can see for a period of 2 years the account was holding 10k to decrease to almost 3k, then come back to almost 8k in the account. I think it could be a legitimate account of only one person who have the opportunity to make an investment of couple of millions of dollars.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: November 15, 2016, 02:50:17 PM
Very unlikely since the dollar still has a larger backing and most of the people in this planet use the said currency even for their domestic transactions and such. Also, the world is not yet ready for a global overhaul of the currency system and fiat would still remain the dominant currency over other currencies available to the market and global economy.
yes as USD is one of the most stable currency of the world therefore i think it is not such an easy job that bitcoin will replace USD but hope that in future when all  the people of the world will start using bitcoin, then it can be possible but i think it can take decades.

People need fiat currency at the moment for their daily operations, pay the rent, groceries and activities. With can not pay with bitcoin everything so far, but probably in a near future is could be an option.

In the future, crytocurrency will increase in acceptance and more and more people will use it as simple as using a debit card.

834  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: November 15, 2016, 12:41:59 PM
yeah bitcoin really very good investment for now because bitcoin price is very stable and good to buy and there is a huge number of people are going to increase its price too much faster in the near future and i hope we will be get a good profit from bitcoin .

Is there any guarantee that the bitcoin price isn`t overvalued right now?

I don`t believe that bitcoin price will ever increase over 1000$.

There are many factors that stop bitcoin growth.

Why don't you think the bitcoin price can go up of 1000$ usd ? No one can predict for sure what is going to happen. If the supply is limited to only 21 millions bitcoins and the demand for bitcoin is continue to increase and will be accepted by more people. I think the price will continue to claim and can go over 1000$usd from my point of view.

835  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: November 15, 2016, 11:10:20 AM
Well in past I have always tried to find a good reliable income source, i looked into domaining, website flipping or just buying a small website which has monthly income...but nothing really worked that well as most of these are not "passive"...and they all are very demanding.

For something to be passive, it should not take up your time and thats the whole point of passive..most of the people on the thread are confusing with "extra" income. If you work after 9 to 5 job and earn extra cash, post on forums its all extra active income.

Now i am looking at Altcoin mining, though it takes a good amount of time to setup, learn and make it effective, i m hoping once I have 2-3 rigs setup the GPUs will do the work and I will have a good source of passive income !!

Most people spend time and energy to always found a new way to make extra money, give up and found a new way. Every method you can make money, the key of success is to stick to one method and make it work until you generate income from it.

I send good vibe and good energy that you will get success in mining alt coin Smiley
836  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: November 15, 2016, 11:00:05 AM
Well if you want to have stable income online like making business. You should try to create gambling website but it cost more money when you build it but if you stabilize this it will make a good return of your investment in the future or if you have skills like programming you can apply in freelance company.

You can create any time of websites, you don't need to only focus your attention on gambling websites. In my country I can't have a gambling website, it against the law. You can have or build your skills to gain knowledge in order to transform it into money, this world is going so fast and you always need to adapt and be creative.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Coindesk is now a pure trash propaganda outlet and must be destroyed on: November 14, 2016, 07:43:13 PM
You don't need to believe everything this website is telling you, the internet is freedom of speech. You could continue to read the website, but simply make you own judgment from the story and make you own opinion.

You can validate the information from other reliable source.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where does transaction fees go to on: November 14, 2016, 07:29:45 PM
Miners needs an incentive to validate the transactions on the network, they want some money from they operations. The materials and the electricity is pretty expensive, without the miners, no network will exist.

In the future, most of the money will come from the transaction fee, so right now every 10 minutes, 12.5 new Bitcoins become available on the network.
839  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Online games that can earn bitcoin? on: November 14, 2016, 07:16:30 PM
I heard about it, but you know better is that should do faucets, If you want earn free bitcoin from games, because faucets is safe-sound, because the different is that if you lose in game, than may be you can't earn bitcoins and also it will be wasted your time, So that's why i am saying. But if you are good player and have a interest to play games than definitely games will be suit for you.

What if the said online game is more entertaining than solving in a boring faucets captchas all day? Faucets is more waste of time than playing an online game with has some opportunity to earn bitcoin even there is a chance that you won't earn bitcoins there.

The point here is side income. If a person wants to do a fixed income then playing online game is not the best way. It's just meant for side opportunities to earn bitcoin and playing online bitcoin game is more entertaining than faucets. What is the effect of that entertaining thing? They will improve more their tactics in that game and so on they can cover the problem of having difficulty to earn little satoshis in that particular online game.

I agree with you that faucet is very boring in the long run and they pay so little that you give up in the end. I think if they invent some good online game with good graphics, challenge and implement a bitcoin economy, people will come and play. The community will grow and the owner can share bitcoin with the players of the game as an example.
840  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: November 14, 2016, 07:05:07 PM
Yes bitcoin is freedom. We can share our thoughts and knowledge here, we can get ideas here in the forums and bitcoin gives us freedom to hold money since then. We can see in the picture that bitcoin have the future, the future that will help to the users earning extra money and making some transactions in a convenient way.

Then if we want to get a bigger profit in the bitcoin, better learn the bitcoin in this forum. because the forum is already much knowledge or already complete all knowledge of the bitcoin

I agree that bitcoin is freedom, normally when you open bank account, you need to provide a lot of information in order to in law with the government. With a bitcoin wallet you have plenty control of your money without to justify who you really are.
