Had an email stating my transfer of direct shares to havelock is complete. However if I log into Havelock, I can't see any of the shares. Has anyone else had this problem?

Who sent you the email confirmation?

fnnirvana@gmail.com

Ah just re-read the import process. Havelock have a 48 hour import window. fnnirvana@gmail.com emailed me early yesterday so I guess i'll wait another 24 hours.

Holy dump batman!  Someone is trying to start a panic.

Just got a Mail from Havelock that there has been trading activity, and I was like... "Wait a minute, my only open order is that one slightly above IPO prices"... Holy cow! But thanks, anonymous donor, I was super mad I missed last weeks selloff to IPO levels!

I had one of those. Wondering if I should be buying. Time will tell.

FC have disappeared for one week.  Shocked

What do you mean? I have the impression FC disappears always for 1-2 months at a time...

He can go silent for a month - but, it appears he at least logs in frequently.
It says he hasn't been logged in since the 26th.

I am confident FC will return during the Prisma launch or worst case before 2015 begins.

Amen, Brother!!

More squeeze for AM. Market is rough.

Awaiting exciting developments... yawn

We have a G4 tape out, big tubes, little tubes and dividends to talk about:
Which shall we?

The current bitcoin price must be really squeezing friedcats bottom line.
28  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 24, 2014, 07:09:41 PM
Oh well I still believe dibs will resume because Friedcat said so but it would be nice for a god damn update so I wasn't basing my belief off of a statement he made months ago.

Yeah, unlike a lot of these people I don't believe Friedcat "owes" us information.  His only responsibility to us is to not steal from the company.  But It sure would be great If we could get at least a heartbeat message.

"Not enough reserves for dividends, Gen 4 on schedule"   style messages once a month would be plenty for me.

I disagree. He does owe the investors information about the status of the company since we own the company. It's just that he decides how long he waits before telling us what's going on with AM. If he set a schedule of updating shareholders every quarter on a specific date then I think that would ease a lot of people's concerns. He used to be on the forums weekly. Now we don't know if we will hear from him tomorrow or in 6 months from now.
He is actually ignoring shareholders of the company and the board members haven't been much better which makes me think there is a lack of communication between Friedcat and the board.  There needs to be a regularly scheduled update from Friedcat with financials.  He can reveal as little as he wants I guess but knowing he is alive and hasn't disappeared with our money would be comforting.

I get that this is a bitcoin company but there is a reason why reports are required by the SEC. Friedcat has always seemed like a trustworthy and honorable person. I expect him to treat his shareholders fairly. Please improve relations.

I suspect that most of the manufacturers need to turn to self-mining, simply because that's still better than sitting on the product.

The question is - for how much longer?

I suspect self-mining will only really remain an option for those with market-beating power efficiency and/or a deal with high deployment/low tariff farms such as datatank.

I'd put money on DataTank and AM have done some kind of deal. We're now reaching the realms where efficiency is key. DataTank have the efficiency technology and AM the chip experience. Also with the uncertainties of China's stance on bitcoin in general, it's good to know that a shipping container can be relocated in a couple of days.

If friedcat is truly the business person we all expect him to be, he would have seen the mining squeeze coming and formed alliances as appropriate.

The biggest threat to AM at present is the sheer lack of shareholder confidence. In my opinion this is an easy problem to solve, it only needs a few words from friedcat little and often. I don't think shareholders are unreasonable expecting this. Friedcat doesn't need even need to divulge anything commercial sensitive. He just needs to be seen to be proactive and that his plan of action is pushing ahead.

I really hope FC pass by this and give us a free "everything is ok" hug.

I think a dividend would say more. That said I don't expect one for a number of months (feel free to surprise us FC), there is just too much competition. If we wipe some of that competition out maybe there will become room to make some dividend spends. At present everything should be reinvested for mass gen4 production.

All seems to be pinned on gen4. Can anyone confirm that there has been a tape out?
32  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 19, 2014, 12:12:46 PM
Bitcoin mining is high risk. I don't think it's unreasonable for shareholders to be reassured every once in a while.

Friedcat/board members can you chip in?
33  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 11, 2014, 05:54:33 PM
The shares seem to have come back down on Havelock. Pump and dump?

I'm gonna lol if it turns out they just didn't make the hourly queue and it keeps paying in for the rest of the day

< 10 mins to find out. Get those speculative orders in.

Generation 4's imminent tapeout is wonderful news for long term AM shareholders. Having something tangible out of that product line by end of year would certainly help to soften the blow of a lousy 2014 for the company. I  have yet to write-off Generation 3 just yet however. FC did state the company's desired goals for Gen3 and the network, and with Gen4 this close away we would have to start to see returns from the current generation soon for everything to line-up.

I can see this place becoming a graveyard again with accusations of fraud, imposter FC's and even backwater deals with the Chinese government popping up if nothing from Gen3 comes by the time October rolls around. Come on Fried Cat, your people await your announcement.

I really don't know about gen 4's tape-out. It would be a truly amazing thing, that's for certain, but I don't think that gen 4 is as that stage already. Where did we get those information from, after all? Who gave us those information?

I heard that the 28nm chip will tape-out in 8 days.
I heard this news too. Waiting for the next weekend.

From feifa & willBTC - either of you upstanding gentlemen care to provide a source?

Is the pure speculation or has it come from board members/friedcat?

No div in August... greater chance of div in September.

Engineering talent
60p/h of chips
Self mining
Franchisees
Partnerships

The value proposition looks good to me.

Hmm this was interesting

AM signature campaign now if Escrow is Friedcat  Grin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=739269.0

Another new deal arrived: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=739269.0

No escrow yet though so take that into consideration.

I for one, being a low posting user and a shareholder of AM would be happy to do so for free. Anyone else willing to give up their sig space?

Any updates? What's the ETA on the new whitepaper?

With DataTank going quiet i'm wondering how involved they are with the cat's plan.
