It is decided - on Tuesday ~12:00 CET we will issue ICN tokens. Exact block-height will be communicated on Monday 12:00 CET here on reddit, btt and twitter. We'll also mail investors. Generally, Tuesday morning is the best day to deploy tokens in terms of our technical team disposal and support if you will need it. Our full team will be there for you.
For fastest possible assignment of tokens Ethereum network should be as stable as possible. Right now network capacity is around 3 times smaller than when the network is stable. If the network instability will persist we can expect that all tokens will be assigned in around 15 minutes, it could be also more if there will be more network load at the time of coin issuing. Irregardless of deployment of token on Monday and that assignment of tokens will start on Monday, tokens will be available to transfer on Tuesday. Please note: Monday 12pm CET will also be cut off time for updating ETH address for ICN assignment.
Recently there were many updates of wallets. Only the latest updates solves Ethereum syncing issues. It seems that we have different kinds of investors with different levels of knowledge and familiarity with tools. Certainly those with less knowledge and experience need more time to prepare themselves. We will persistently remind our investors about the necessary steps to deal with ICN tokens.
I have to admit we have overestimated our investor’s familiarity with the tools needed. This is related to the use of ETH address in wallets and exchanges. It seems we have lot’s of newcomers, fiat investors, that need much more instructions and step-by-step guidance with additional alerts that need to be added.
On Thursday, October 13 for the same purpose a test-it contract will be deployed on mainnet where every investor will get 1 ICN + actual decimals of your ICN. So for example if you have 69323.0822184235 ICN you will receive 1.0822184235 ICN on your ICONOMI test-it contract for you to check access with your private keys. We have decided to do that for all those users new in crypto to prepare themselves for Tuesday, October 18. With the availability of real ICN contract, the test-it contract will be self destructed.

With exchanges in touch I wanna reach agreement to start trading like an hour or two after. So all can transfer to exchanges if they feel so. And then trading starts. The world of crypto has never seen anything like ICONOMI ICN will climb to top 3 on Market Cap list within next few days after launch. ICN price will be trading in the $3-$5 range by end of this week. I think the same but didn't want to post it sounding overly troll pumpish, but truth be known, Iconomi has more instant potential than any previous ico launch in the history of crypto-ico's. They began the ico with more credentials and framework in place, and a bigger team than any ico I've seen in crypto. They offer an elegant, attractive asset platform design with huge dividend potential, combined with even more potential through multiple ongoing funds to profit from. There is no blockchain development to deal with for ICN other than supporting the entire Crypto-economy.... and The Blockchain Revolution has barely begun. IMHO I think ICN will see prices above ETH in a short timespan, like after a few footsteps ahve been made showing profit and dividends... THEN, Everyone will want ICN for the dividends and be eyeballing the funds... I could literally write a small book on the potential Iconomi has, so I'll spare you the boredom, but yes man, I'm fucking super excited and stoked to be an Iconomi ICO Founders Club™ participant. These bounties are highly profitable, we should expect many to dump out. Will we be able to handle it depends on liquidity and volume which will be dictated by what exchange we get listed. If the best we get is Bittrex, it's not going to be good.

Hi Iconomi team and everybody else
How about adding a withdraw option (after all credentials, email and 2FA process) that acts like a long term vault? User can choose to turn it on and it means that withdraw won't happen immediately but after a predefined amount in which the account holder will be notified by email/phone and can cncel the withdraw process at any time
Just to add another layer of security for storing the tokens online

people selling are IOU (I own you) not actual ICN, it works like a proxy coin. in 10 days they will distribute the real coin with real exchange. |

I wouldn't be surprised to see ICN trading for .01btc within the first few days of trading on legit exchanges. (non IOU)
That is a huge call, what do you think will drive the price that high, everything we are banking on now is just the potential. After investing lots of my savings, I only wish ICONOMI become success but I request everyone not to dump your tokens soon after ICO.Hold them till next year to reap the benefits I don't know when people will learn, alot of your savings in a project. Please let us remember that this Crypto boom is going to burst I don't know when but it is a natural order , don't invest what you can't afford to lose The boom has barely begun Agree, either it completely fails and blockchain/decentralized projects never materialize or this "bubble" just begun. Most just focus on the price per unit, they think Ethereum or even Bitcoin are expensive at $13 and $600 per "asset" they don't usually understand marketcap and mainstream adoption. 10 billion and 1 billion for these alone are a complete joke, it's not even close to the value of a small company let alone a market that can disrupt the whole world as we know it, from health, financial to logistics, commerce, online business, you name it. We are talking about trillions of dollars if only one of those sectors gets really serious adoption...so just do the math. Of course it's risky, there's the chance this will never pan out as I said, or blockchains get hacked or are proven to be insecure (this never stopped other platforms though...). However one can clearly see people are beginning to understand that we don't really need many institutions controlling our money and work. Similar to what happened to music, movies, taxis and apartments with Spotify, Netflix, Uber and Airbnb. This will take it much further. Do we really need huge companies behind basically person to person services? We have the infrastructure now to not need that kind of centralization of power and wealth that are basically providing the platform, not the actual content, work and money on it. They are the leeches, not us. Well said Sir! |
