I am very happy with Decent performance over the last few days. Price going up nicely.
I still believe this is a little gem.
Good days for many altcoins and DECENT. Some major announcement could rocket the price. Yes, I can't wait for the updated roadmap. A couple of more weeks to go. Hopefully sooner. New roadmap, maybe being listed on bigger and lately popular exchanges can affect a lot. Three figures would be insane. Love the idea, because it does have rel use cases. well three figures is a little optimistic. But no doubt that 2018 will be the best year for decent since the ico. holding this gem is just something not to miss I would have thought the same a couple of weeks ago (that triple digits would be a little too optimistic, or that the person was just simply trying to hype it up), but looking at these market caps in the top 20, Ethereum a little over a year ago would have been around number 40. This coin has a lot going for it, a major partnership could send it to the top 10. And by that time who knows what a top ten marketcap could look like. A 24 billion dollar marketcap would send it into the triple digits. It's impossible to image such insane gains, but at the same time it's oh wow, that could happen. This crypto world is just insane. |

No. There is no mining with video cards in DECENT. DECENT is similar to BitShares instead. There are elected witnesses who hold tons of DCT (so that they have much to lose in case of failures or misbehaviour) and run solid dedicated servers that enable thousands of transactions per second. What about the use of available hard drive space? |

How high of a marketcap can Decent reach?
I've been trying to keep my mind open, since I never imagined that Bitcoin would go up to $18,000 just like that. And that Ethereum would go from a 900 million marketcap to it's I think 67 billion dollar marketcap just like that. And so many other coins. What if Decent goes up to 25 billion one day. You just never know. It's something that cannot shock anyone any more.

How to scam people by offering a bounty?
Open an ico and offer bounty to people (like decent did)
Take 1 year or more for main net (like decent did)
Take another 1 year for releasing bounty info (like decent doing now)
Take another year for distribution of bounty (like decent will do later)

webwakko if I was in your situation I would stop using the hard drive immediately and try to run un-delete software. I know you didn't delete the wallet, but who knows. Good that you made peace with the loss, learn from the mistake.
And about what you said about the domination tasks. It's hard to predict how things will turn out when planning them. And what I love about the DO team is how flexible they are when it comes to fixing things that they didn't foresee. They continuously adjust. From dealing with sockpuppets, to putting a stop to things that led to spam accusation.
You can't judge on how the unforeseen came out, you judge on the response.
