Can someone tell me what the price of ico was? Thank you
If i am not wrong around 5000 decent for 1 bitcoin, it was around 20K for coin, today is 1/4 of the original price! But don't worry you are still in profit in your Fiat value and if you have patient till Q3 2018 than you will gain X10 or more, Please don't forget Bitcoin price is not 17000 from the first day. Most of us try to multiply their btc with altcoins, and not to explain bad trades with the small rise of the fiat. This ico was financially bad call no matter how you look at it. The ones that invested would have made so much more with just holding their btc. But then again i am sure that many of you wanted also to support Decent and are in this for a long run and not just for the money. Decent went up to $1.85 before the BTC pump. You could have sold then, and you would have caught all the BTC rise. Because you blame Decent for your being a lousy trader. You've had options to do better, but you preferred to leave your coins in the wallet and wait for others to do the work for you. I think it went up to $2.15, during the ATMChain ICO. Imagine selling at that price, staying in Bitcoin, and the re buying today. All the possibilities that are very hard to predict. I would have asked that hot girl out.

The value of what I paid for Decent is significantly higher than what I paid during the ICO. It's not the the 25x that Bitcoin went due to its forks, but it's none the less very good.
You just never know. If I would have quit Crypto in 2014, just not thought about it one bit and came back today, I would have over a million due to what I put into Nem. Zero effort.
The problem is that we can't predict the future.
A major reason why I don't sell my coins is because of Nem and Neo.

It's funny if how after I claimed my Nem stake and then went into a coma, and woke up this week. Things would be awesome. Or better, lost my private key, and then boom, found it. I love NEM though. Even the name of my Wifi is Nem.

DECENT reminds me of WAVES a year ago, way below ICO price (in BTC) and in very early stages of development also a huge amount of funds to keep the project going. 6 months from now people will be angry they didn't buy in, 10/20x value increase in 2018. I'll also quote this when it happens.
Waves was around 50% down ico price, decent look like is much much more down ico price ! remind me voxel to me. Yes but DECENT isn't down as much compared with USD value, so it isn't actually doing as bad as WAVES did when that dumped to 15k but it looks like it does as the 90% dump in BTC value. When BTC calms down alts will start to recover (in BTC value). Dollar value wise, my Decent stake is worth 5 to 10 times from what I put during the ICO. I would have had more if I kept my money in Bitcoins, but at least I have that 5 to 10x.

The price during the ICO for Bitcoin was under $600, and what's the price now. I haven't looked today, but around $15,000?

after stop rais bitcoin decent will rais to more 10$
As soon as BTC stabilizes and Decent content distribution is properly launched (marketing, advertizement, bounties campaign, etc.) we will see 10$ as a cheap price. Good thing they have thousands of BTC raised at ICO, it will keep DECENT progressing for many years with such a high amount of funds. All milestones are possible now, including streaming, because they raised much much more than enough to execute everything according to their milestones. This is very true. When is the streaming hardware supposed to come out?

What happened with NEM?
Though I haven't had Nem in over a year, it will always be my favorite coin. The history. Even though it hurts not having my stake. It saved my life though.

Hey Crypto, it says that I'm being skipped, which is odd, since I met all conditions. But even more odd is that it shows only 3 active users. Could this be a possible glitch?
Everybody check your status.
Edit: I see that others in the forum are also having similar problems.
We fixed one bug (it was showing 1 rejected for some reason) yesterday so we need to recrawl to know actives so will stay so till tomorrow. Maybe we can precrawl sometime today to print the actual values. I will update stay tuned. Now is normal to have skipped message? Total Number of Active Users : 4 Total Number of Users Awaiting Confirmation : 0 Total Number Rejected Users : 0 Bitcointalk user Id: 136256 Wallet Address: Dn6sZqEm3BDhFfK3Y5SbxtwoEPAJaAubg7 Status: Skipped. We fixed something yesterday and need to recrawl to update statuses, we have not done yet. All data there in db just not printed Also new applying 4 members appear active for this reason. you can see yourself active here Thank you for your response.

I have purposefully not looked at the price in days.

From the video that I saw a few weeks ago. Can tokens be created with Decent, and thus run ICOs?

Boys, the price of DeepOnion is only scaling with Bitcoin's growth, deeponion itself is not actually growing in terms of Bitcoin price. Stop getting so hyped up about this, because it actually means shit, Onion is still on page 3 CMC and that's for a reason.
But volume is increasing, which is a good indicator of future growth.
I'm going more by the idea that DeepOnion is like twice what it was last week, but Bitcoin is not. DeepOnion was over $2 I believe, right now is at much lower rate.

Price has risen. I didn't buy on Wednesday, because I speculated that Bitcoin was going to raise more than the air drop. If only it stayed a little lower for a few days.
Yup it is kind of a shame in a way... always puts you in an awkward spot when you want the price to both stay low and shoot sky high! Haha... lesson learned is time in the market > timing the market... get in as soon as possible! I only buy Onions, so I'm glad I didn't do anything foolish such as sell, hoping that the price would go down to buy back again.

Maybe it could have become one of the top projects, but with such delay in almost all spheres (bounty distribution, developement etc) it is much less probable That only means DCT will break 1 billion marketcap but late as well. i hope will late again ,the altcoins market is cool down recently, people run in to btc and eth . not really good time for dct right now. Unfortunately most alts I hold are suffering quite hugely, I hope and expect to see them turned around in the coming months or years. I think with BTC going up so much everyone sells their coins. Can someone tell me the supply of DCT? Many thanks. You can check the supply of DCT in coinmarketcap, here's the Decent page https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/decent/.

I don't have twitter, but do have a Binance account. Wasn't the voting done through a list on their site?

I added 3000 more onions today to my portfolio. I feel and hope I am doing it right. Fingers crossed, cause right after I bought, market started falling and I was a bit worried for an untimely investment, however, I am in for long term and I am going to ignore the intermediate swings and focus on long term.
I've done that, a few months ago. Bought a lot of Onions, the price drop, and Bitcoin kept raising. Timing is so important. But no complaints.

How does being a witness and earning coins work
It's a little technical, but DCT users have to vote for witnesses. And the people who want to be witnesses in a sense have to campaign for their votes. A witness usually gives out details, such as what kind of dedicated computer they have. Typically a VPS, the specs, and have to show how responsible they are. That's what I can remember. Shouldn't it be push-easy, like LSK? Isn't it important that this is a transparent robust part of the project, for the security of the chain and protocol? Really makes me question the leadership and organization of this project. Seems like Autism-central. Please make it easier, DCT... have some Slovak(?) ian pride! You're making these strong negative comments about the team, yet you barely know anything about the code or coin, judging how you're asking questions as if you're new. An now you "question the leadership." Sound so fake. It's basically the way of the internet and people with their definite dumb opinions that they are so sure of, but that is based on very limited knowledge. For example, there's a big controversy right now in the gaming industry, with loot boxes and downloadable content. Where in the past you would pay $60 for a full game, but now you pay $60 for part of the game and really to get the whole game, you have to spend hundreds in downloadable content. The logic behind the hate gets repeated many times. But then comes a guy, that probably spend a lot of his days commenting on everyday news stories to comment on an article about it, and the guy has probably never played a video game, completely doesn't understand the outrage, and goes on a rant about, "if you don't like it don't buy it... control what your kids buy..." And just your standard superficial logic and comments from a person who has very limited knowledge about a subject, yet think they are experts. SO wheres the explanation of how to set up a witness? or how this process even works? There isn't one. Fail! If there isn't one, then why are there witnesses? Don't blame others for your inability to find something. I suggest not to even bother, because who's going to vote for someone who doesn't even like the team and gets easily frustrated?
