Yes, Iconomi has started a new breed of projects and it has inspired many new fund management teams to come with ICOs of their own platform. If these new ventures can give promising returns to its investors it will be awesome and it can also attract more funds into the crypto space as well as can support many new promising ideas. I would love to see ETH and ETC developing new Dapps and competing with each other. It would greatly offer many experience to the entire crypto community. ETC has a lot of work to do in setting up a solid team and a roadmap and above all, getting all this working as per the plan and also in making great functioning Dapps. ETH has lots of Dapps that are in the process of developing while ETC lacks in this area.

Both are good if you know how to capitalize on the opportunities. Trading is good if you can keep an eye on the market at every time. However, when it comes to investing you don't need to look at the market every time and can consider you position every month or half yearly. It all comes down to your goals and personality.

Bitcoin is slowly correcting and now it would be wise to divide your fund which you would like to invest into bitcoin into 10 equal parts and invest slowly at every 2 to 3 days intervals or after every week. This way you can average your price if bitcoin crashes hard. I do feel $1000 might be a good support. However, it is always good to play safe and add slowly.

The price yesterday at this time was exactly at $1180 levels. 24 hours seems to have made no difference to the price. The ETF rejection seems to have been shrugged off by the markets.  Well, we haven't yet seen any big crashes in the price of bitcoin. But we need to see how long bitcoin can hold on to the current price levels. It would be nice if it can find support and stay well above $1000 level in the coming weeks. |

It would be helpful if the posters would give reason as to why they feel the tokens would give good returns in 2017. As of now, DASH, MONERO and other altcoins have rallied. Bitcoin too has rallied on the hopes of ETF approval.
I would recommend ICN as it is a good platform for new people to invest into cryptos and they have just released the platform to some investors, it had a correction and now it seems to consolidate before another price rally.
You can also look into DCT and SNGLS as they are also developing their respective platforms and can appreciate once they release the platforms. If you like to play safe, then keep these tokens in your watch list and enter once you feel they have proven their worth.

Even if you buy now,it won't be a bad investment.I guess ICN price will hardly go below 40k now as their are many buyers at kraken.
Yes as the above poster mentioned if platform is postponed again or it delays more than first quarter,it can pull down the price but I doubt if that will happen.
I did expect a price range above 50k when the project starts rolling but i do not really know whether it is the right time to enter,whats the expected price according to you.I am eagerly waiting for the news from the developers which would really make a difference in the price and i am sure if they postpone the platform the price might come down. Fortune favours the brave.If you want to make big,you must take big risks.I am very confident that even at this price, ICN is a good long term investment but I dont advice you to take my word for it.Do your own research and risk only what you can afford to lose. Yes, I would recommend any investor to look into ICN tokens as they can give good returns in a year or two. There has been a delay in the platform release, but better late than never and it is best to take time and make a good platform than releasing a bad, buggy platform quickly and disappointing the early investors. Storing bitcoin (even if it less or more than 100 ) should be done with care, I would recommend anyone to diversify into paper wallet and hard ware wallet and also consider using blockchain.info
Try to keep the bitcoin that you are not planning to spend in paper wallet and hard ware wallet. The bitcoins you plan to invest or trade with, you can consider using the blockchain.info site or app.

The op is optimistic, I like that, but for bitcoin to reach that price a lot needs to happen the sooner I think we will reach that price is in 30 years, so I hope the op is young enough to see that price in his lifetime and i hope to see it too.
Is it real? I could not even guess about such prices for bitcoin in the future. Of course, experts suggest good growth, but not so much. I doubt. in my opinion, bitcoin prices may touch 50k. because users are still few, if its more then the price of bitcoin will increase. the effect of halving also can make prices rise even faster. It's not halving effect after all but the adoption of people, with increasing adoption, it will result to increase of price of bitcoin and in the near future anything could be possible. Let's not be surprise if the price will touch that amount as it's not possible with bitcoin, if and only we will make it possible. We make the demand, hence, we dictate what the price will be, and I'm sure as betting is getting more popular there are big businesses that will innovate theirs by integrating bitcoin as part of their payment system. For me, it will happen near since the government is also aware of the possibilities that is why they are planning to regulate bitcoin. 50K USD per bitcoin is a big target and I am not sure when that would be possible. We need to consider the fact that a lot of money is flowing from bitcoin to Altcoins and this trend will continue to happen in the coming years. We also got many coins looking to dethrone bitcoin such as Zcash, DASH, Monero, ETH, etc. So we need to be reasonable when giving out targets otherwise it can break the hearts of newbies in bitcoin. |

It is best to invest into both Gold and bitcoin. Bitcoin is a new piece of technology which has plenty of room to grow and attract new users in the years that are going to come. This gives the early adopters a chance to make a lot of money. Gold on the other hand can be used to protect your wealth in times of uncertainties, which makes it suitable to conservative investors.

I have to agree with the OP. Trading is highly unpredictable. You can make the job somewhat easy by trying to apply technical analysis tools but they are usually lagging indicators and doesn't work all the time.
In Crypto trading, you need to keep a close watch of the news as well as the volumes. Go with trend and try to figure out the resistance and support levels. And always keep stop loss and book profits at every levels. Never let greed control you.

Its great to see Indians getting attracted to get into bitcoin. I know many Indians who are now tracking bitcoin news and updates after demonitization and are interested to invest when price of bitcoin corrects. They must be bullish on the ETF approval and might be betting on it to help bitcoin price to climb to more levels.

You can add new users from the page of various crypto projects such as vDIce, Iconomi, Singular dtc, decent and other coins pages. Start building your account slowly. Don't add 1000 users each day. 100 is a good number and then wait for them to follow back. And don't forget to be active on twitter promoting legit projects.

I have read the whitepaper and it seems quite interesting with the closed end fund management and Kepler (bloom berg like trading software ). Decided to take up this project and promote it with my signature space. All the best with the upcoming ICO.

There are some differences and reasons as to why trading is not gambling. To start with, you cannot control your losses in gambling but you can in trading by having stop-loss order. And you should be gambling mainly for fun and not for money. Money should come second in gambling. However, in trading you do it for money and fun part comes second.
