41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: June 14, 2017, 08:59:07 AM
This whole thing doesn't add up in my book...

Too much has been raised, how is this significantly different from Nitrogensports which started out with around $700k while Wagerr is raising quite a bit here.

After all the recent ICO scams people must be wiser, these coins will be dumped on the market floor as soon as trading starts. Look at BAT anothr huge ICO with lots of publicity  and where it is now

Lol, $7.9M is too much for a decentralized sportsbook. Do you know what nitrogensports is? i feel bad for you. maybe read the white paper first.

your post made me laugh out loud

Fools laugh out loud, what is new here..

All it takes is programming, which programmer charges 7.9m? Infact wagerr  ICO is raising much more than 7.9m

Laugh all you want, ill be buying your wager bags for dirt cheap when this hits the market and the whales dump their coin   Wink

What an ignorant dope! It actually takes only 20 minutes and 2 USD for a coke and snacks to set up a new coin! But how I hope very much that they could accumulate 1 bil USD to secure the mega project and to propel Wagerr price growth.

You must be half-illiterate or having serious reading problem. The stupidest idiot I've met in this forum so far. You better don't get married and multiply, or your offspring will piss and laugh at your grave.

I think 8 million USD is good for a project like Wagerr as it will allow the team to get the project running in a much better way. Obviously, too much of funding is bad for any project but I do feel that the team can handle the funds unless we get to see a red flag somewhere down the line. It is common to see projects raising more funds they need as ICOs and Crypto are on fire nowadays.

42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: June 14, 2017, 08:33:31 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?

I would not put all my money to bitcoin although i am confident with bitcoin. Much better to invest in other traditional business. Just put your extra money to bitcoin. But if you are saving it in bank you might want to put at least 80% to bitcoin.
about 80% of my assets are in crypto business, but i have distributed my assets in diffeent place. for example 40 % i have put in bitcoin for long term . and not going to widthraw that amount from bitcoin for a long time. while the rest 25% has distributed in altcoin, while the rest of 15% is reserb for ICOs from where  also get good profit from on regular bases. while the rest of the money  have saved for my emergency.
So your 80% of the amount will be saved in the form of cryptocurrency. Good, you have a lot of hopes on digital currency. I don't have trust on cryptocurrency like you. I also invested money on digital currency but the only little amount, and it is only my extra income I am invested in this currencies. I don't like to take a big risk. Something happened to cryptocurrency in the midnight, and the price falls means I can not afford that loss. It is possible in the digital currency market.

It is best to diversify your funds into different assets. Bitcoin is king of the crypto land. There is no doubt about it but it is best to invest into other crypto currencies and DAPP tokens as they can appreciate and let you trade them for more bitcoin. I was able to make more bitcoin by trading and investing in altcoins. And yeah, there is always risk and it is high in crypto. So invest an amount that you can actually risk with.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc crossing 3,000 $ today ? on: June 14, 2017, 08:22:36 AM
i can see large buying orders on many exchangers , are we going to cross 3,000 $ today ?

I don't see BTC crossing $3000 for the next 2 to 3 days. BTC has been facing some selling pressure from the whales and ETH is on the bull run. In fact, ETH also corrected a bit. It is a good time to buy some and hold. I see BTC testing $2000 and if it can defend successfully, then after that we can expect it to shoot past $3000. Till then keep your fingers folded.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: June 14, 2017, 08:17:29 AM
as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me

Better study things first in trading coins because trading is not just a joke joke matter, you are going to put your money into it, taking the risk of putting money into something you do not know what will be the result of that.

But to give you a simple thing, it is right to start trading with small amount since you are just like making some experiment and trying to work things out.  Secondly, look for good things, like if you trade some alt coin consider their long-ness in the industry because you might go to wrong one not knowing that they will just dump your money. Just always secure things. It is better to be wise that be wised by others.
For sure, you are risking your money so you need to be well informed on what you are doing, the effort should be
coming from you and not just listen to signals from expert because they might be wrong and if you
took effort you will grow as a trader.

I will tell you whats been working for me. Buy into tokens or coins after reading the whitepaper and after doing some research on the team. This is highly important if you are investing into an ICO.

I would only recommend swing trading which is holding you position for 1 week at least. You can go and hold for 1 to 6 months and then flip the coin for BTC or ETH. Day trading is little risky. 2 days ago one could have bought into tokens such as VSL and EDG by selling ETH and they could have been up by 20 to 30% by now. It has its risk, I won't lie. But if you were ready to take risks with proper management, then you would have made some money.

EDIT: VSL is up 60% now! damn!  Roll Eyes
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: June 14, 2017, 08:02:35 AM
guys can you please explain the etc advantages to eth? there are lots of arguement about that. i like and believe etc, but i do not know why can i trust:)

I am not an expert but ETC is ETH that is completely decentralized. Next point worth mentioning would be that the supply of ETC is capped while it is not the case with ETH. You can google up the ETC monetary policy to know more.
Personally, I support both ETC and ETH. I got exposure in both. I just want to see Block chain tech making the world a better place. Don't care who does it.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 14, 2017, 07:24:08 AM
So my token can be delisted for any reason at Wave platform. This is bad. Decentralisation is number 1 in crypto or not?

Since the tokens still exist on the Waves blockchain, what's to stop somebody from building their own Waves DEX? It would obviously be separate from the official wallet but isn't the official wallet just a "client" for the DEX? Surely someone can code a DEX on Waves that has no filters.

Not sure to understand the questions.
On the node's config file you can setup a new genesis block among some other options to create easily your own blockchain based on Waves.
So yes, with some tricks anyone could create his own DEX on his own blockchain.

He doesn't mean create a new blockchain, but create a new marketplace on top of the blockchain to allow for coins to be traded that are not supported by the official DEX.

As far as I understand, the trading is still decentralized, it's just the trading pairs that can be moderated. Didn't even silk road moderate certain "goods" at one point?
Why should anyone trading those coins? Where do you see the value in those coins?
I do not think, the devs would allowed that anyone create a new marketplace on top of the existing DEX

I think it highly important to sort of moderate the tokens or assets created on WAVES DEX as there are lots of scam tokens to steal money from new innocent users. This is bad for crypto and especially for WAVES platform. I have already seen 2 to 3 fake assets trying to copy MobileGO on DEX. And 2 to 3 days back, we even had a fake  Ethereum on DEX! What the hell?!?
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: June 14, 2017, 07:19:25 AM
how about yobit?

Yobit is shady as hell. And not just that, there is a high chance for new coins with low volume to have their wallet "under maintenance" for ever. And even after sending supporting ticks, they don't respond. I suggest some other exchanges.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: June 14, 2017, 07:12:31 AM
US citizens or residents can't invest in SONM? Isn't SONM going to be on bittrex? How come US citizens/ residents can't buy in the crowdsale but you can buy in bittrex if it comes in the exchange?

Polo is US aswell and look at all the ETH tokens.

The restriction only applies to the crowdsale itself as the organisation doing it doesn't comply with the US laws.

So are US citizens not allowed to take part in the ICO?? Sure seemed that way in the article I just read....I've been reading and reading for weeks on this project and I'm not allowed to invest? What happened to decentralized?

Also is this a "not allowed" to invest or a "prevented from" investing? There's a difference......

Most ICOs don't allow US citizens to participate. It is largely due to legal requirements set up by the US to "protect" its citizen. Your IP can/will be blocked by SONM. Your best chance would be to use a VPN and participate, only if you are ready to face the consequence of your actions.
Ahh.. the perks of being in US or a US citizen  Wink Grin
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🚀[ICO][ANN] ZrCoin 📈 [11|05—09|06] 🚀Commodity-backed blockchain on: June 14, 2017, 06:58:21 AM
I have balance zrcoin in TVE, when enable withdraw?
how can i display the zrcoin on my waves lite client?

You will have to wait till the Zrcoin team announces the ID of the asset. Only then you can use it track and even trade it. I believe it token is not yet distributed.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: June 14, 2017, 06:55:44 AM
1300 coins were stolen from me with Signature Bounties.Where did they go???
please Tell how it can happen
1 share was supposed to be 461 tokens and now 1 share of 361 tokens why is this done? Where did the rest of the tokens go from the company of signatures?

Owh ok we just wait for clarification from dev hopefully can explain this all

It would make a lot of sense for the Bounty Campaign manager to come an explain. He should have seen your post and he will explain and do what is necessary. Make sure that the percentage allocated to the signature campaign has not been changed or something. It is best to wait.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] [ICO] PATIENTORY: Blockchain-Secured Medical Records on: June 14, 2017, 06:42:15 AM
Can someone explain me how will PTOY gain value over time ?

I have received a small bounty and will be buying cheap coin after they are on exchange

Price on liqui seems very interesting now to buy ptoy tokens. The token has fallen in price by almost a factor of 2. Ptoy may fall more after bounty reward, than it would be perfect time to buy it.

My opinion is to use this opportunity and buy PTOY. Hold for 6 to 12 months and sell it when the price is x5 to x10 times. Right now it is trading at a bargain in liqui.io
PTOY tokens gain value when hospitals decide to use the PTOY blockchain to store the patients record. They will need to buy PTOY tokens and this will created a demand for the tokens. The team has already got some hospitals and as more hospitals decide to use it, more the demand will be.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community - June 26 on: June 14, 2017, 06:29:21 AM
Distributed work area technology community early arranged only five cities, the latter will be extended to the world famous city, very optimistic about it.

Yes, Primalbase can spread all across the globe once the idea clicks and once it becomes very successful. I am quite sure that it will be successful.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really have enough 'cryptocurrencies'? on: June 13, 2017, 08:05:24 AM
Honestly, I think we have more than enough CryptoCurrencies ! We need to have the devs and community trying to work with and around the promising tech and tokens rather than simply creating their own random tokens or coins.
It is high time to avoid copies and copies of bitcoin. Try to build on bitcoin and make it faster. That is the need of the hour.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Recommendation on alt coins investement on: June 13, 2017, 08:00:35 AM
Hi there,

I am looking to invest on some alt coins for long term hold.

Whats your opinion on

  • unity ignot
    lomocoin
    VPN coin
    artbyte

Thanks

Unfortunately I am not following any of those coins you have mentioned. But I can suggest some tokens such as
1. Strats
2. Waves
3. ICN
4. SNGLS
5. ETH
6. ETC

They have appreciated well. But they can appreciate more and it is wise to have them in your Crypto Portfolio. Do a research and invest. Best of luck!
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low Mining Difficulty Coins With Biggest Potential on: June 13, 2017, 07:57:10 AM
How about VTY?  It is at 1 satoshi and the team is trying to build on it. It's down side is pretty much nil as it is already in 1 sat. Any pump and VTY holders can make massive gains. It is pure POS mode and the team is also considering to move it to WAVES platform.

56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 13, 2017, 07:53:54 AM
I plan to save bitcoins for important purposes.
A year from now I will finish my schooling and I always wanted to save to help my parents. That is my first goal.
I also plan to save some for my self, for my needs and for my own satisfaction.
I think that I said both Smiley  Grin

WOW! It is nice to hear that you are into bitcoin from such a young age and I hope you are able to manage for school life as well as crypto life pretty well. Keep saving those bitcoin. Study hard and your future will be set. Good luck!

I save bitcoin for both fun and for my future. It is for my retirement and a rainy day fund.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community - June 26 on: June 13, 2017, 07:50:11 AM

This is a big project, I estimate ico sales will be short, it could be within 24h token will be sold, this is only an estimate

I agree with you, therefore I do not want to be too late to invest in ICO when the sale started in the open

Certainly, Primalbase is one of those big projects I have seen this year after Bancor. Totally excited about it and would love to own some tokens.

Having an ATM would help promote bitcoin to the masses for sure. I think it is a good idea and would like to have one in my area.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Insight: Is breakout close? FTW? on: April 22, 2017, 10:30:21 AM
I am quite positive on XRP. If you are a long term investors, there is nothing to worry about. But if you are a trader then, you might want to read the charts and keep strict stop loss and hope things play out well. Long term and fundamentals are bright for XRP and it is a HOLD and good to have in your investment portfolio.
