261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: September 06, 2016, 04:11:39 AM
I used to be greedy as a pig !  Grin I used to trade in futures and options unlike online gambling. Lost a good chunk of money and learnt in the hard way. The thing is I was so convinced that there is a holy grail method to win and I could make money. Yeah I was blinded by greed until one day when my bank account got wiped out.

But no worries, I knew shit would happen and I made a separate bank account just for trading. I had to take in the reality and stopped trading. I do hold some investments ..long term investments and am happy with it.
262  Other / Off-topic / Re: Way to get bitcoin..!! on: September 05, 2016, 04:22:42 AM
Best way to get your hands on bitcoin is to buy them with your fiat. You can earn them by doing various task. If you have skills like programming, writing, translating, designing, etc you can offer them for payment in bitcoin. If you feel like you don't have any then, stick with signature campaigns and bounty, airdrops and what not...

Yes, for signature campaign you'll have to have a member account, so keep working the account like that's what I am doing now  Cheesy
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin spiking to $595 on: September 04, 2016, 01:11:15 PM
Happy to bitcoin showing some strength. 600 can be tested before it makes higher movement. All users who wish to buy may want to buy now. Hope this starts a new bullish move for bitcoin. Fingers crossed.
264  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: September 03, 2016, 06:56:38 AM
Earning a living completely out of bitcoin is not yet possible for me. However, I can make some cash by doing bounties and helping other with tasks that has some rewards. Signature campaign is good for all types of users, even when newbie earn less. I guess it's better than doing faucets.

If you're a writer or a dev then you can make a killing out of bitcoin for sure. At least that's what i have heard from other experienced users.

269  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting My First Whole Bitcoin? on: August 31, 2016, 05:07:43 AM
Making 1 whole BTC without buying is going to challenging given present scenario. The best thing I would advice is to start with Signature campaign and then try to slowly learn the way how signature campaign is run and create a campaign for yourself. Now, wait a minute before you laugh at me,  Wink  There are many legendary and hero level users who started as a total noob and are expert in their respective fields. You can offer some service such as designing or something.

If you don't have the time and the efforts, then I suggest you invest into good ICO such as DECENT, SINGULAR DTV (ICO not open yet), etc. I believe they have good team as well as are promising. Hold the investments for about 3 years and you can make maybe 1 whole bitcoin depending upon how much you invest as well as the price of bitcoins at that time.  I won't suggest trading or gambling because at the end of the day you'll end up loosing even more!
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SSS] ARK - a Different DAO is coming! (Built on Ethereum) on: August 30, 2016, 05:56:48 PM
I open mist for 8 hours and nothing received.

Is the blockchain synced? Have you opened the page in Mist? http://www.arkdao.com
Make sure that you are displaying the correct contract in the top of the client as well. Your bots are connected to a specific ETH address, so you need to make sure that your client is showing the contents for that contract.

That's pretty much all I know about the bots at the moment. I haven't had time to try them yet.
How connect to specific adres and what is the specific adres?

Once you downloaded the full blockchain, you 'll be able to see ARKDAO working.
On the top right of the screen you see an icon: CONNECT
click it and select all the wallets you want to use with ARKDAO
Mist will remember your selection in order to simplify your life
Then on the bottom of the screen you will see ARKDAO wallet module
With a dropdown list where you can select a specific wallet
Select the wallet associated to your BOTS
Mist will show your BOTS as buttons
click one and jump to the relative BOT

not bad gosh ... but why we need this system if we have coinmarketcap?

Now you can't create or modify coins with coinmarketcap. Can you?

273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Someone scammed me $9000 (13.4BTC) through Skype. on: August 30, 2016, 08:09:15 AM
how do I attach images?. and how do i sign a message?

xetsr 150: -0 / +16   2014-08-28   0.00000000      Scammer. Tried to sell me someone else's moneypak.
scammer got scammed by another scammer

If that's your address get it signed. I like that "scammer got scammed by another scammer"  Cheesy

Whatever the truth is, It was soo stupid for you to send 13 BTC to someone your never knew. And then coming to bitcointalk and asking for help will not do any good at least from this account which has trust issues. Maybe you could have got some sympathy if you had created a new account and asked for help. Nevermind, sympathy will not get your money back. New lesson learnt! Be careful next time.  Wink
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why trading volume is so low now? on: August 29, 2016, 05:25:33 AM
I think that because there is not much of triggers for any trades. It seems like price has stabilized and will be in a tight range. We can expect it to break out or break down based on new triggers. May be another hack news or some news related to world economy should do the trick. If anyone is planning to add some bitcoins to their portfolio, its seems like not a bad time to do so.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: August 28, 2016, 02:08:21 PM
Guys, I don't think there is any proven easy ways to make profits from gambling especially for the users. The owners have the edge and when gambling just do it with an amount you can loose. It would be better to use thins amount and time for something productive rather than wasting it.
276  Economy / Speculation / Re: We'll be at 10,000+ by 2026 on: August 27, 2016, 03:55:18 PM
I don't think 10,000 USD can be achieved. But here's a twist. People who never believed in bitcoin said it won't cross 10 dollars and we all know what happened. So, it's basically Very hard to say 10,000 or 1000 or even 100,000 (okay, it may sound insane Wink ).

But what I can say is people who collect and store bitcoin as a long term investment may not get disappointed. So, let others know. Spend some and save some! Cheers!

277  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long you in bitcoin world? on: August 26, 2016, 07:21:28 AM
I have heard about bitcoin around 2012 but never gave time or my attention to learn more about it. Quite frankly, I was ignorant and believed that bitcoin would fail in 2 years time. I was not aware of the blockchain technology.

After understanding that I was terribly wrong, I took the time and effort to learn more about bitcoin and other altcoins. I was hooked like any another crypto users.

I did loose some of my money in scams and hyips. But by God's grace, I was able to recover my looses. All the best to the newbies.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: August 25, 2016, 08:16:17 AM
Diversify your btc into various investments. try to invest in upcoming ICOs such as DECENT, SINGULAR and ICONOMI. i guess iconomi ICO is live. Then, maybe lend some in poloniex or to some trusted high ranking users in bitcointalk.

Maybe you can go for trading, even though it's risky. Trade without what you afford to loose and study the market trend before you trade. All the best dude!
