2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are the Western people very apolitical? on: December 30, 2023, 07:24:06 PM
It is the western government that decides this apolitical position with such a terrible conservative government that controls the meida as much as it does. As a result of this governing system, young citizens are timid and undaring and prone to snowflaking. A controlled system and soft handling of growing children mean they are only giving out their government to immigrants
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc full year plan 2024 on: December 30, 2023, 06:59:55 PM
This is way too much complicated. I don't want to do all this analysis and come up with a strategy that may or may not work in the future depending on the situation. I will try to stick to my old buddy DCA method. Keep on accumulating Bitcoin until the bull run starts, and my target is reached.

shit that prediction overlooked the ETF effect. are you not consider the BTC halving anymore?

because afaik when there is halving, the prices will already be going up after months or right when it's happening. but if this is going to be how BTC price goes, and the altcoins are skyrocketing, i would be disappointed to what ORDI had done that investors are already skipping BTC.
Wait, as far as I know the bull market does not start immediately or during the Bitcoin halving event. It takes more than a year for Bitcoin to create a new all-time high. During the event of few weeks after the event, we can see potential growth in Bitcoin price but it's not the final result. The price pump will happen, which could take more than a year. But the recent pump in altcoins market does indicate a different story.
The history of bitcoin contradicts your assertion, in the last few years the price reached a new high during the same year. In addition, I believe the bull market has begun, and the halving is all that is needed to break the new all-time high. Considering bitcoin's current price, it should make sense for the pump to be steady, breaking ATH cannot occur overnight or in a month
4  Economy / Economics / Re: How will the BRICS currency influence Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2023, 06:53:30 PM
Let's avoid any discussion about Bitcoin being attacked by Governments or institutions. Those notions are distracting and can be categorized as FUD. There won't be an attack on the dollar like there is in the real world. In my opinion, a new market for stable currency trading will emerge, and the size of that market will need to be determined with fiat exchange. It is only necessary for me to know the reasoning behind it from the top four countries and why they are only starting to consider it now.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: December 29, 2023, 10:29:23 PM
Which one should I go for with a capital less than $2500?
But what can you even do in real estate with just $2,500? If that’s the capital then I’d say you rather invest it in cryptocurrency (the right cryptocurrencies so you don’t end up not having nothing). Real estate investment is really a good business that even I want to venture into someday. But unfortunately, it requires enough money and I’ve noticed that people who often invest in real estate are people who have businesses that they can take money from. Even with less than $2,500, you can DCA crypto investment but you can’t do the same for real estate.
There isn't much you can do with $2500 real estate, but there are a lot of things you can do with cryptocurrency, which has a high return. My recommendation is to hold close to 25 cryptocurrencies, both old and new, and to conduct intensive research before deciding to take positions. Exit smartly early and don't get greedy, you can get a better return on investment by investing after the bull market with 5x-10x.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin ETF is not Approved on: December 29, 2023, 10:13:40 PM
It is indeed a game of patience. If Bitcoin ETFs are not approved, we may see a drop in price but for a long term investor that would present another opportunity to score more Bitcoins at lower price. So speculators may get disappointed, but for long term value investors, it is just another opportunity.

Bitcoin price is not going high just because of the positivity around ETF approval. There are multiple other things in play here. The next Bitcoin halving is around the corner. For me, it is more important than ETF approval and potential have more impact on Bitcoin price.
In my opinion, long term investors will not consider the ETF for their position. It doesn't matter what happens with the ETF, there will still be a bull market and everything will go as planned. The difference with ETF is the different momentum that will come from it. Consequently, holding bitcoin will reduce the risk factor in the long run until it reaches the level of some other SOVs in the asset class.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies are not Scums.... Learning is a Process and it's progressive. on: December 28, 2023, 10:44:06 PM
If you continue to pay attention to negative comments that do not align with your personal ideologies, you will get so pissed off and even leave the forum again without gaining anything, while those supposed attackers are still in the forum making waves. So who lost, obviously you!

In every message here, there is a bit of sense in it no matter the tone of the message, pick only the right information you need and forget about the manner with which the message was passed. Sometimes newbies can ask unnecessary questions instead of using the search button,  not everyone here will be patient enough to explain one thing over and over again.  Focus more on learning and forget about anyone's opinion,  at the end we all will be fine.
I understand his struggle, we all faced it at a point when we were new in the forum, those attitude from some members dont help people settle well here, is about the personalities of some high rank member. The way some new people enter the forum and spam it is understandable to me sometimes. They are fewer now than in previous years but they are more in some thread, I would not really advise you to avoid them because of the resourcefulness of the threads and users, but please keep in mind that you are there to read and learn, not spam.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrencies without investment? on: December 27, 2023, 11:06:11 PM
I do bounty campaigns and I can tell you they are not as profitable as they used to be. This allows me to accumulate many coins stakes and apportion some funds to invest in more coins. There will be some airdrops with huge rewards in this market despite how bad some will be. However, some will come at a high cost. Some with the use of some platforms and campaign, inside and outside of this forum. It doesn't take a lot to start a project that will make you 100x. A few hundred dollars on certain coins will be sufficient for at least 12-18 months.
9  Economy / Services / Re: A Project Management Expert on: December 27, 2023, 07:48:55 PM
A lot of newbies here still don't get it.
Now let me break the news to you this forum doesn't care about your degrees or school status rather, what they want from newbies here is their contributions to the forum, and I mean positive contributions.

It's not as if the forum asks for you to upload some sort of professional certificate or something when you sign up. All you have to do is try your best to render your service properly if that is what you are here for.
The forum is not expecting newbie to contribution on getting in here, they expect them to suff the forum, learn as much before making contribution. We dont expect them to open a thread on an existing topic. The OP does not know that the forum is not for Job seekers, no is looking to recruit here. We fortunately have people longterm members here with a lot of experience in blockchain, that can help with both existing and new project. So if he has anything for blockchain he should put it here.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some tips to help protect yourself from crypto scam on: December 26, 2023, 01:54:12 PM
It would be helpful if you could triple-check before making a fund exchange. Visit the link to most of the website from coinmarketcap or coingecko, there are many cloned websites out there, including visiting them at all because they can be on your history and one might mistakenly use them.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MATIC or DOT? on: December 26, 2023, 12:31:32 AM
I haven't used DOT so I can't say anthing with it. But with looking for alternative transfers, I've used matic many times and it didn't disappoint me. With this time when Bitcoin transfers are costly, matic is part of my list for alternative transfers that I'll choose if ever I need to.

About it being an investment?

I don't know what to say as well and I can only speak for my experience with it through its use case and that's an approved thing for me.

Hello,
Thank you so much for your reply.
Does MATIC have the potential to become something like DOT or Solana? I mean in terms of price.
The decision to pick up Matic is a better one now than to pick up Solana and even though you might appear late, you cannot tell it's over for Solana. It is possible that Matic will run late in the market and outperform Solana in terms of return on investment. The ability to predict who will outperform is difficult, especially since they have used cases, active communities, and active developers.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My List of Altcoins - Discussion and Predictions on: December 24, 2023, 11:53:33 PM
XLM is still having no movement at all whilst for the meme coins, they have moved a lot to be honest. If you're not yet in profit with the shiba inu elon or any other meme coins. You have missed their but who knows if this bull run they'll still be able to do the same thing. But I don't think that the same run as it will be this time.

No idea on this one to be honest, it's a mixture d bag of which you decide to go for.
Just don't invest on what you don't know.
It is likely that meme coins will remain unsafe in the market irrespective of the last bull market. I am not saying they cannot pump, but anyone investing in them should consider throwing away the money if it pumps.  While all the coins mentioned above haven't done well this year and there's no reason to write them off, experience shows that nearly half of the coins in the top marketcap will lose their place at the end of the year. Therefore, being at the top of the market is not a factor in investing except for Bitcoin alone.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New Trends Among Beginner Traders on: December 24, 2023, 11:44:47 PM
It looks like they are just trying to gatecrash into the market, even though this is one of the safest times to enter the market and there is not much time to learn about it. Also, they need to decide what type of trader they want to be. In the short or long trades, a year is the ideal duration for the long trader at the moment. It is a must for them to be able to research a project or coin and stay up to date on its progress through the market during the project's development. Buying and sitting back is dangerous, they should learn and keep learning, always online and well informed.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dascoin Big Scam on: December 23, 2023, 11:38:21 PM
Who else invested in Dascoin which some scammers promoted as the next Bitcoin Grin Grin Grin . I was stupid to accept their lies those days. I am new to Crypto I had no idea
It appears you are a newbie here, and I think the narrative of replacing bitcoin is outdated and untrue. It is very important to learn how to research a project, especially the team, the partner, and the case studies. Do not invest if any member of the team has a criminal record; there are many more low-risk opportunities out there
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SolidCash (SLDX) - New Token on BSC Network on: December 23, 2023, 11:29:28 PM
Who are the people behind this project? You realize that the website you're using isn't working, don't you? I think you know that genuine traders will visit the website at least not just because the token is listed on Pancakeswap. Would it be possible to stop doing business in cryptocurrency if you lack the skills required?
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance withdrawal fees are too high, what do I do? on: December 23, 2023, 02:43:15 AM
Currently, the withdrawal fee are 0.0008 btc, which is too high. What sould I do? I can't leave my btc on Binance, feeling kind of unsafe.

Thank you!
This is the American government's plan to scare people away from Binance exchange, and it seems to be working. It is unfortunate that Binance will not lose its traders to any American exchange. I dont know how true it but I learnt the Dubai Government is working on a bigger ane new exchange, it could come with not a single name like Binance. In the event that it succeeds, it will be difficult for the American government to intimidate it again in the future.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: December 23, 2023, 02:24:29 AM
You're talking about offline casino, but here in this forum most of the casinos are online version.

Online casino has less or no intervention by government, licensed casinos are obviously restrict many countries that where gambling is illegal, but if they're not licensed, the casino has a chance to accept every countries to gamble.
Obviously, this is not true for all countries since some like the UK, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Singapore, and many others. It doesn't matter if they are online or not, they always ensure that licenses are in place, pay taxes, ensure that consumers are protected, and try to collaborate with the industry.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think Bitcoin ETF will be approved? on: December 22, 2023, 03:02:11 AM
Since 2019, we have only had one approval (Purpose Bitcoin ETF (Canada)) and it has been described as one of the softer ETFs. As for this ETF, I am not confident either because I don't see the approval as having a meaningful impact on the market as a whole. It is just part of the story and narrative that comes every bull market year, as far as I'm concerned. Elon Musk was an important market influencer in the last bull market, so I want to follow the new market influencers
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Michael Jordan a gambling addict ? on: December 20, 2023, 09:08:30 PM
I was recently arguing with someone whom stated that MJ is a gambling addict, and I pushed back.  I think we could probably all agree that being addicted to anything is never good, no matter what it is.  Michael is famous for being a big gambler.  However, it's not like that's the only thing he does in life.  He's a billionaire with many companies and countless things to do each day. Gambling doesn't effect those important things in life.

He takes care of his family, far from broke and gambling brings him entertainment.. so my question, would MJ be considered an addict?  I argue he's not.  He just loves to do it, but any negative effects may be literally zero ..

Wiki Definition "Addiction is a neuropsychological disorder characterized by a persistent and intense urge to use a drug or engage in a behaviour that produces natural reward, despite substantial harm and other negative consequences. Repetitive drug use often alters brain function in ways that perpetuate craving, and weakens (but does not completely negate) self-control.[1] This phenomenon – drugs reshaping brain function – has led to an understanding of addiction as a brain disorder with a complex variety of psychosocial as well as neurobiological (and thus involuntary)[a] factors that are implicated in addiction's development.[2][3][4] Classic signs of addiction include compulsive engagement in rewarding stimuli, preoccupation with substances or behavior, and continued use despite negative consequences. Habits and patterns associated with addiction are typically characterized by immediate gratification (short-term reward),[5][6] coupled with delayed deleterious effects (long-term costs).[3][7]"

(sorry hilarious and cyrus, I know you see this same type of topic a trillion times a day but this is bit different and something I'm truly interested in discussing, being his situation is unique).
In my opinion, you should reference this wikipedia post before you are reposted for plagiarism, regardless of how you put it here. Even though you can sometimes quote a definition verbatim, it is crucial to cite it and reference it
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TonUp.io | 🔥 Ultimate Launchpad on TON Blockchain on: December 20, 2023, 07:34:12 PM
The tokenomics are impressive and have a lot of potential. I haven't seen one for a long time. All you have to do is pick up early, maybe using a variety of prices, and hold for the next 12 months. The ROI on such investment are very huge. In general I don't advise investing money directly in a project, but this will give a good return. This is not a financial advice just my opinion according to the metrics because anything can happen in crypto, but at the moment the project is doing well.
