341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 15, 2023, 11:35:15 PM
Waiting on Friday 12:00. My propose: Bayern-Milan, Real-City, Napoli-Chelsea, Inter-Benfica.
They can't pair the strong teams with themselves and leave the weaker teams. Chelsea, Napoli, Inter and Benfica are the weakest teams here. It took me some time to understand why Chelsea Vs Barcelona is scheduled every year for several seasons. They understand how to keep fans anxious and make a lot of money from fixtures.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: With the present economic outlook, do you think that this is good advise? on: March 14, 2023, 04:50:49 PM
Society and profession of graduation can be considered in this advice.
1. The level of unemployment varies from society to society. A few societies provide a job market where graduates are almost all employable, but few get interested in attending tertiary universities, so they may not have a clear understanding of the importance of learning other skills, more importantly skills that are related to one's career.
2. Discipline of graduated; medical graduates have a difficult time combining other businesses, particularly if they work in the same field, and most employers prohibit other related business operations that might create conflict of interest.

345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: March 14, 2023, 12:54:28 PM
My second opinion is that everything that is going on now with stable coins and altcoins could increase Bitcoin's dominance in marketcap, which in turn might improve trust as well as investment. We are experiencing everything at a good time before the sentiment in the market builds and attracts new investors and restores some old ones. The last cycle was hell for some and some lost a lot of money.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will accepting cryptocurrency as a payment be profitable for business? on: March 13, 2023, 10:13:52 PM
In my opinion, it is about the appropriate timing of use as exchange. The reason for this is that the coin will only increase in value once it has approached halving, making the short-term exchange of goods and services profitable. It has been observed that the risk factor associated with bitcoin reduces every four years, and that many organizations have announced their plans to accept bitcoin, even as payment for tuition at universities.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: March 13, 2023, 10:03:11 PM
I don't think altcoins can survive without btc, so I think the price of btc will continue to affect the price of altcoins.
some examples have been seen when an altcoin is rising, then the btc price suddenly drops, the altcoin will also immediately fall.
Altcoin/bitcoin has undergone a lot of change in the past few years that we must take into account

1. We have more decentralised exchanges with different blockchains where bitcoin can not be traded and they still make large trades

2. That the decline in bitcoin-altcoin has decreased and we have more stable-altcoin and altcoin-altcoin

3. That bitcoin have less than 45% market dominance, less than in previous years and approaching halving.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: Silicone Valley Bank bust in 48 hours - Crypto exchanges could be doomed easily! on: March 13, 2023, 07:54:48 PM
These news don't seem to be helping the market. It surprised me that the crypto market responded upward today, after the Mt.Gox high distribution numbers and silicon valley bank crash. In light of this crash and nondisclosure of tax, the executive will be facing a severe lawsuit. Sometimes it is hard to deal with terrible people in the space who exploit the market to swindle people with big funds. How can we continue to do this and retain people's trust?
349  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Let's not be too judgemental about CZ (Binance) on: March 12, 2023, 03:32:16 PM
In the space, rumour can be used as FUD, so recipients may never discover the truth. CZ binance was widely criticized after the FTX dump and for how he protected BUSD via social media. The fact that USDC was removed from the exchange, as well as Coinbase and other US cryptocurrency firms not hiding their hate, particularly those affliated with Bankman, is disappointing and fierce. Contrary to the rumour, USDC reserves have increased, while the BUSD balance has remained almost constant.
350  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Let's not be too judgemental about CZ (Binance) on: March 12, 2023, 07:37:05 AM
It is sad to see the news about CZ Binance in the media because I love him so much. Several rumors are circulating about CZ Binance involvement in the USDC fiasco to promote B USD. Part of it is that Binance CEO, CZ, has used social media in the past to attack competitors, so it is likely that he was involved. There is still no evidence that support it
351  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2023 Gubernatorial Elections Discussion Thread {Focus on Lagos & Rivers States} on: March 11, 2023, 09:25:40 PM
The disposition of President Buhari after the election has been so annoying. Accepting the result of the election after seeing a lot of the abnormalities
2. The CBN governor and the president has refused to say anything about the supreme court judgement for more than a week of the new notes.

352  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2023 Gubernatorial Elections Discussion Thread {Focus on Lagos & Rivers States} on: March 11, 2023, 11:40:10 AM
The country's politics are being dominated by sentiment, and our choices are becoming irrational. In my opinion, most of the Labour Party flag bearers never thought they would be where they are, and they have not proven themselves worthy of their positions except for the sentiment of their supporters. The track record of Obi is impressive, but what can others show? In recent TV interviews, the labour party's candidate for the Lagos governorship hasn't lived up to my expectations, there are some blunders that show he doesn't understand the job, Jandor has a very nasty history that won't help him, and Sanwoolu is the godfather's pet. Unfortunately, I have never been a fan of Tinubu since 1999 and may never be.
353  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2023 Gubernatorial Elections Discussion Thread {Focus on Lagos & Rivers States} on: March 10, 2023, 08:07:18 PM
On another similar thread, I took my time to give 5 similar threads as well as the reason it should not continue (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5443670.msg61866085#msg61866085)
About the postpone election, I think pressure is now on the government and Tinubu is threatening Obi to step down. It is very crazy to see the disposition of President Buhari and also the recent public advice to support that crooked president elect)
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will (probably) go lower. on: March 10, 2023, 04:27:18 PM

My advice will be to wait until FED will start lowering rates which will mean that the economy will start recovering and money will flow into crypto and bitcoin.

Your strong point and analysis to say bitcoin price drop is coming is all about inflation but I don't think that is what will happen to bitcoin only because of that. Are you saying when the inflation is high then people withdraw hodling and to take care of life? But during COVID-19 that was restrictions and low income earning, we saw gradual increase in investment and appreciation of price so inflation should not be the only reason for price drop. Bitcoin has the tradition of fall in price a year before halving.
At the moment, the news of MT. Gox is still having a significant effect on the market, and the FUD may last for some time. While the size of the bitcoin planned for release is huge, it could spread for nine months. Still, I have no doubt some people will do some accumulating again from the FUD. There is still a long period in the market before the halving when the market will break the previous ATH.

Haverá alguma troca no blockchain?
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Standard, The Ultimate decentralized stablecoin & lending protocol on: March 09, 2023, 04:12:53 PM
In regards to the matic blockchain token, which is not traded or rather delisted, what is the project's plan on getting it back to exchanges?
It is worrying that Defi coin has remained silent for a long time. I know the project has more than DEFI applications, but I am curious if they have another approach to DEFI that they believe gives a different result/

Apart from safety, people also take into account transaction fees and how the transaction process works. Are you taking into consideration whether the transaction fee is more affordable compared to other channels?
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 07, 2023, 10:49:37 PM
Chelsea did very well tonight, I didn't expect them to win the match but they did, that's nice of them. For Chelsea to win today's match that mans Chelsea is unbeatable this season and I think their team is now developed. Based on the routine tonight Chelsea will take the league this season,
There is a lot to be learned from Chelsea's last two matches.
-I believe that the new crop of players need time to adjust, Felix is still struggling and Sterling is doing a better job than Felix.
- It is very impactful to see injured players like James Reece, Lotus cheek, Sterling, Chiwell, and Fofana return to the field
-With the exception of Enzo and Badiashile, August's new crop is doing better than January's
359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OpenCEX, a Free Open-Source Crypto Exchange Engine on: March 07, 2023, 02:09:57 PM
I do not think most big investors or bag holders will risk the use of the forum because they want something cheap, aside from the fact that online security for exchanges is too costly to be rendered free or cheap. Additionally, I don't think it gives users custodial rights to their coins, which is a very dangerous offer. If you are truly interested in making such a public offering, then provide a decentralised exchange, give users custody of their coins, and request transaction fees, anything free here is suspect
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: this is, how easy it is to scam people on: March 07, 2023, 01:58:20 PM
she does not know anything about binance and basic terms just made an account following her mentor.
she is so dumb to scam her.

Why don't you think otherwise? He's actually trying to trick you. He's trying to direct you to someone who offers you 90% of the return on investment.
There is no real woman if she is some random girl who starts a profitable investing conversation. So stay careful, and don't assume you're smarter than "beginners".
You obviously understand, it really showed that he does not understand how scammers operate. Several approaches have been sent to my Telegram account. First, I check if we shared a group, if not, then I get careful. My name, location, and gender are all I can tell an intruder in my PM, aside from that, I try to keep my identity private. Messages sent privately are suspicious, so don't be fooled by any approach.
