1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOINTALK FORUM ADMINS SHOULD HELP BOUNTY HUNTERS. on: July 30, 2019, 07:39:26 AM
It will still demand more of bounty hunter cooperation than the admin intervention. We can demand more interaction and discussion of such projects on this forum than telegram. There are few restriction on this forum announcement thread for projects, then we found it easy to get our token and see moderator intervention because we had most of our discussion here. the red trust tag are meant to control members but we limited the use by running absolutely else where. Telegram had reduced the influence of this forum on most project scam. There could however be some reduction in reward if the team can present there case due to inability to raise enough fund.
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB time to invest ? on: July 30, 2019, 07:27:10 AM
It is important to know if binance is able to give more profit in bitcoin value, do they have enough developments to increase demand and improve price? And at present the price is a little dip, lesser with the bitcoin value (better time to buy), if bitcoin goes dipper we could see the price dump or pump more. The season looks different this time, most predictions with altcoin are delayed. The decision should be taking before the BAKKT launch, it could trigger the next bitcoin run into the end of the year high price.
1523  Other / Archival / Re: Google 2FA decentralised alternative on: July 30, 2019, 07:17:03 AM
In the past 2 weeks I have had series of error from this google authentication from 2 of the exchanges I use, What have not seen until recently. I am afraid there is possibility of compromise if such error persist. Anything is possible with hacking in this space and we may not know the possibility until it happen. The google authenticator don't see much upgrade like other app, it might not be necessary if we are well protected .
1524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: July 29, 2019, 08:31:51 AM
The scam projects inability to get their coin listed and make some profits brought doubt to the process. The risk was higher and it was the innovation out bear market. Investors and exchanges still care about their profits, if IEO keeps getting everyone involved profitable it might last longer than we expect but we need more money in the space. If we rely on the fund that comes from bitcoin alone the dominance will continue and will strangle altcoins more, every altcoins holders will keep on moving to bitcoin.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: July 29, 2019, 08:23:07 AM
As like masulum said, IEO will not affect ETH anyhow brcause IEO launchpad most of the time use their self currrncy, for ex, Binance Launchpad use BNB, Kucoin Launchpad use KCS and other launchpad also follow the same. So, I don't think it will affect ETH price at all.
U hit the nail on the head. Thats why we need ICO. Even if it is with small cap like we see in most exchanges, it will bring more money into the space. At a point during the ICOs there was too much ETH to sell by the project team which lead to dump. ETH is planning to stake, it could make the coin scarce but that can only work if the demand is equally high. ETH still have a governing system unlike bitcoin and they could make a lot of development with it
1526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: July 28, 2019, 10:05:22 PM

It has been a while since I have joined an airdrop. From my experience, none of them has asked me to sign anything. Airdrops are supposed to be free and you do not need to send anything to them. Anyone asking you to send first are scams.
Sometimes I thinks one might appreciate signs up before it get to ones wallet, what if is not safe and u got it without your consent and it becomes a problem. However, I prefer it in an exchange than in my private wallet. Exchange wallet could come as result of holding certain coin and exchanges will be responsible for security check-up of such coin.
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: July 28, 2019, 10:02:21 PM
Interestingly BNB has not seen that price growth like we saw at the beginning of the year till June since bitcoin has been losing some gains. It is making the news as top exchange for volume trade, and adding new projects through IEO and some existing coin are also getting listed. The decentralized platform will bring a lot of interest. $50 is quite possible in the shortest time with all this developments while bitcoin price also increases.
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Question on: July 28, 2019, 09:54:03 PM
When you posted this thread, in that time most of the ICO had failed or scammed! So, if a good project can't raise their soft cap then yes they can ignore to pay the bounty hunters! This is normal for every bounty campaign! And, the scenario has changed well, you can do bounties because the crypto turned into a good situation!
Sadly, we still project that raised fund this year has not paid their hunters. They didn't give any reason for this and are unnecessarily quiet in all the channels they engaged during their crowdfund. Even the manager cant say their whereabouts, and this is the project we consider not to be scam according to the same manager. The size of fund is not considered for this action as long as the softcap was reached. Some of those projects lied on the amount raised, they presented high amount and failed to reveal information about the fund.
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your private keys on: July 27, 2019, 06:28:26 PM
I am not sure private keys can be changed and revealing where you keep your private keys on this forum can expose someone if a familiar individual is on this forum, reading your post and have access to getting close to where you could put the keys. What is equally important is  to understand how to manage the keys safety, either online or offline.
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 27, 2019, 06:15:25 PM
Bounties managed by famous, professional, and experienced managers will give bounty hunters higher probablity to get payments (they will most likely get payments for their works). because experienced managers have enough skills to screen good and bad companies, and have enough skills to make sure that their participants will get payments. That will help them to maintain their trustworthy. In contrast, inexperienced managers are lack of skills & experienced to protect themselves from scam projects as well as protect their participants. At the ends, sometimes they will be scammed by scam companies, and participants will not be paid.
The old managers knows how to negotiate with team to benefit hunters. Sometimes teams might want to change the agreement when they couldnt raise the fund or consider the value for token to big. The experienced ones know how to mange such, lots of cases in that line
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy large Volumes of BTC on: July 26, 2019, 08:20:44 AM
As we have high volume BTC buyers so we have traders, you may not be the largest buyer in history, we got exchanges to handle such volumes also. Find out about exchanges available in your country online, it could help in decision making. You can try both the OTC and exchange, compare the easiest and safer trade.
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 744,066 Bitcoin addresses now own at least 1 BTC on: July 26, 2019, 08:02:58 AM
I only consider the difference in the past one year, it looks significantly lower than in past 7 years. There is possibility that hoarding had started far back as last year June and the higher price this time could have reduced the acquisition from new investors. The addresses in 2016-2018 could also be from ICOs and new exchanges, also, just assumption. The bear market also slowed down the exchange, this might extend till next ATH
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 25, 2019, 06:23:28 PM
Signature campaigns and generally bounties can last a very long time. I know several projects that last from last year. But you cannot know how much you earn in the end.
Have done bounty(rootproject) for a project for more than 6 months and the project just declared they cant continue some weeks ago because they have exhausted the fund, they never got on exchange at any point. The campaign ended in 2017, when the market was still booming, there are allegations of the CEO spending money on vacation with his girlfriend, the sad thing is that cant be prosecuted. We learn with experience here. I now resulted into choosing credible managers that barely get involve in scam campaigns, we have them here and they don't have to manage bounty every time.
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 25, 2019, 06:36:31 AM
Bounties are mostly unpredictable in the times of bear market even ico projects struggle to survive so bounty payments get delayed 2018 is the time of patience for bounty hunters
Just my thought; what goes along with the bear market bounty is inability of team to get listed on good volume exchange. Most of the team could be tricky in the approach. some with the mind to save the fund till the bull to make more fund, whereas making excuses with the market condition after crowdfund. The trend is the project going mute on all media and telegram, even bounty manager wont be able to reach them for over 6 months, I could list several cases like this. The unpredictable projects that do well are mostly handled by teams that have track record in the space and know enough people to help out with the good idea that they have.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO's has cause more harm done good on: July 25, 2019, 06:23:44 AM
Investors and exchanges are making good money from the IEO than the project teams envisaged, Now it is considered an entry market pump and dump system. However, some exchanges dont take enough time to do research in some projects but most early investors get out quickly than expected, bittrex almost fell victim of scam project with the first IEO, which shows anyone can be scammed in this space regardless. A street smart trader will think of making more bitcoin than thinking of the project, get-in get-out idea
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: July 24, 2019, 10:58:04 AM
I will also buy some if it sells an IEO or on any platform, of course there is information about the sale of Facebook's codes right now, want to buy it.

I will be surprise to see the coin go for IEO again after raising such large fund with so many support from big companies. They can only get on exchange at their own will and I bet the team dont need to lobby for any exchange, sure they will get the big volume exchanges even in the USA. Most people will have their first investment in this space because of the coin, mostly from with big fund because of the confidence they might have gotten by the USA government and the coin stability in value.
1537  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: July 24, 2019, 10:51:16 AM
The risk in cryptocurrency is more with scam project and shitcoins than with bitcoin and some big projects. We might have to go beyond what we read on whitepapers, social media updates and telegram to getting some inside information with recent new project, the scammers are smarter and some teams are not capable for the project they want to embark on. The present market condition will only help to strangle enormous shitcoins in the market and send them off. It is sad that we have over 3000 projects, many that have no demand-able use case and sharing in the marketcap.
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange asking to Login thru Facebook on: July 24, 2019, 10:39:34 AM
Obviously. Once they have fully implemented Libra all exchanges that partners with them will use Facebook as one more to way to login on their website. It's difficult to say how many people will use it but I definitely see it coming in the near future. Smiley
what's the source of this information? This could be misleading if it is not true but anything is possible with the government's interference.
1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: July 24, 2019, 10:32:48 AM

Will it be a threat to BTC and other altcoins?
No stable coin can be threat to bitcoin, it will rather join the other stable coin to keep money value and serve other use case. Bitcoin volatility will still be an advantage as an asset. I still like to know the idea of it trade but for now there might some trimming down in the coin use as it goes through the hearings. I believe USA because of her antecedent with facebook privacy, will do everything to favor their access to project's security.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: July 23, 2019, 05:34:55 PM
For those fixtures, anyone that qualifies is just adding to the list, they wont go far. sometimes history might look irrelevant but not in football. The top teams are not only buying the best player but manage them with the best resources, medical, technical and improved football science, good coaching crew that these teams cant ever afford. Playing in big stadium is also intimidating if players are not used to it. I hope the thread can last the 2020 season
