1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I though Bitcoin was created for this moment? on: March 15, 2020, 09:46:08 PM
Bitcoin had grown to be the most profitable asset in the world over the last decade but had not gone through such a financial crises. The liquidity had shown other disadvantage with rate of cash out when there is no other source in the world in the past 2 weeks. It has the ability to climb its price back as well in fewer weeks when funds are provided, sadly most new holders 1-2 year are more involved in the dump than old investors.
1182  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Do I really have to pay taxes on crypto investments? on: March 15, 2020, 09:02:40 PM
Has calculating Tax in US turn to another business in cryptocurrency? Why cant they form a group or get in contact with experienced investors from USA, it will help. The long term investors will prefer to take tax after bullrun, when profit had been taken and some coin converted to fiat they can buy lambo from the rest. Its such a high percentage of fund that demands taken before spending your leftover.
1183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 15, 2020, 03:50:44 PM
I think this can affect more of those that share the same phone with google authentication app. They got into your mail and the google account you sign in on your phone. have never trusted wallet and exchanges on the android phones, I believe the vulnerability is high, even more risky when the app request for google authentication code that is on the same phone with the app. I prefer the windows app and online exchange for now, maybe IOS app as well. Android is not as safe.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: March 15, 2020, 01:20:07 PM
Have seen a lot of these advocate against centralized exchanges lately and the complaints are not new. Interestingly centralized exchanges had developed so much in the few month to provide better platform for cryptocurrency traders. There could be challenges of security both of exchanges and personal information but they have not convinced enough traders to win higher volume trade than centralized exchanges. More so, the limitation of trading bitcoin and other blockchain will remain a challenge until new projects on DEX provide that.
1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall bellow 3000$ and Gold price will increase? on: March 14, 2020, 07:51:39 PM
I think today's sudden crash was just a knee-jerk response to COVID-19 being declared a pandemic.

There really isn't anything else that can be said about COVID-19 now that would produce an even worse response than we already saw today, so I think we have seen the worst of it, at least in terms of sudden severity.

We might still trend a bit lower from here since the virus is nowhere near finished, and people are looking to hold more liquid assets like cash during what idiots think is the end of the world.

Pretty stupid really, but it always happens. Smart investors know to short the market when a pandemic is declared, while the rich are going to have a field-day buying up the cheap shares and properties that result from the mass hysteria.

At the end of it, the idiots will be left poorer and the rich will be richer, as things always were.

Yes sudden crash made me worry and since there hasn't been fund any antibiotics for coronavirus it's hard to say what will happen and people are terrified about it so  there selling there asset and crypto I hope this problem resolved soon
FYI, antibiotics kill infections of bacterial nature, and since COVID-19 is a virus, there won't ever be antibiotics against it. Scientists are working on a vaccine, but it seems difficult to predict how much time is required for that (from months to more than a year). In any case, I don't think that Bitcoin will be suffering all this time and will then magically recover when the pandemic is over. People just need to calm down and realize that Bitcoin has no reason to go down, unlike many other businesses, and it'll be fine. How much time it takes for people to calm down - now, that's a question. I hope it's a matter of weeks.
The first clinical trial of vaccine should be next months or two, to ascertain a reliable vaccines will take several month but not beyond this year. Basic information about the virus is known especially the mode of infection and damage of the body system. The are no stigma to this disease, not out of sexual carelessness or infidelity. The basic challenge is way it is hidden in the body with no obvious symptoms in several months. It is more difficult to speculate and predict the price of bitcoin even after halving with the crisis.
1186  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Seeking Large Amounts of BTC for Institutional Investors. on: March 14, 2020, 04:58:29 PM
has the OP gotten the investors and coin es-crowed? I like to ask the reason for the coin use confidentiality? I believe the information about coin/fund use could help hasten the support you need. He should include the benefit or possible profit any investors could get, 5000 btc is huge at the moment and most investors are now on the long term so they could be difficult to convince.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin has an identity crisis now? on: March 13, 2020, 07:59:31 PM
It is still a sign that the space is young, now we have some other things to add to our list on bitcoin price reaction and prediction. we have seen few financial seasons that could determine the price movement of the coin and this is new, pandemic disease can give different reaction of traders. It is a yardstick to explain how to prepare for any financial crisis in world but this does not change the fact that wealth just change hands with fiat holders.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for the dip days as an investor on: March 13, 2020, 10:19:08 AM
Yes, at a time of decline like this, we must hold a stable coin so that our assets do not go down so badly that the USDT is currently rising well, is this investment possible? Yes, it's better to hold USDT than other coins.

It's better to wait for the situation first for an investment like this and see what correction will happen in the future.
At times like this, investing is good enough, but you have to be mentally strong.
It could be easy to advise anyone to hold stable coin or fiat now but how many people saw this coming, it is no market manipulation. Corona virus played a significant role in the market dump and affect the world financial system as a whole which crypto is no exemption. Only few people can now purchase from this dump, more fund had been use in 2018/2019. The fact is the power of stable coin and fiat sometimes cant be denied.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are calling projects as scam when they are in a bear market? on: March 13, 2020, 10:06:23 AM
People are in a hurry to call project scam and we have seen this with many outstanding project. I think project scam should be mentioned when project fails to deliver on promise within the speculated time, if there are no obvious reason for the delay. When project with big exchange listing, dump price in a bull market ( either short or long ) and persist for weeks with no genuine reason for the dump, it could be a bad implication of investors exit by loss of trust, team dump token from excess reserve or some negative news. Most team wont release such information so individual holders should look for inside information if he can.
1190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 12, 2020, 08:16:14 PM
Porn still hold around 8% of viewers among the world adult population, which is an indication of size of the market. Same population view porn at average of 12hour/week especially online. Though the fund made in the industry is not always available but it is presumed to be in tens of billion even in the pas year. A share of that fund will be huge in cryptocurrency if adopted, the negative effect of bitcoin will be overlooked since the use case had gone more than porn, also porn industry shows a level of discreet with fund.
1191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 12, 2020, 07:56:26 PM
I might have to swallow my word after the dump today, the presumption of the price dump effect are possible with the pandemic disease that had affected a region where we have the active traders that need money to obtain necessities that become expensive and scarce suddenly. Am more afraid of more damage that could be cause if this persist and the government could not savage the situation early. 25% price dump in a day is huge for a bull season that had persist to surge.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters and Investors, Who values Cryptocurrencies More? on: March 12, 2020, 11:11:01 AM
I will always argue the opinion of hunters dump, we barely see over 1% token distribution to hunters recently, in some cases the reward are staggered to control dump by hunters but at the end the price will still dump massively. We have queried severally the excess bonuses given to investors, most exchange listing at ICO price has made enough money for investors to exit which team had continue to neglect. I also dont believe investors dont research, we all know the reduction of bounties for credible projects in the forum, so how do we rate investors commitment if they rarely share investment with hunters here
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Limiting ETH's total supply on: March 11, 2020, 10:39:32 PM
I appreciate the timing of Ethereum in the creation of the scarcity and I expect consistency in the token management all through the bullrun. They might need to also contain those team members that sold like in the last ATH. The adoption of scarcity creation from new coin looks bizzare to me especially from the early coin creation. Scarcity created through staking, burning and limited supply for investors at crowdasle does not look to me as the same strategy as theirs. I already lost trust in ethereum until now
1194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 11, 2020, 10:23:12 PM
Different news in the media of the effect on delay and postponement of crypto-related events in the world, most especially Asia and Europe. It also resulted in the restriction of movement of some infected cryptocurrency personnel both involved in trade and project developments but we expect adoption of the digital currency use with restriction in movement around the world. However, there are some explanation on price dump that is associated with the virus, which I refuse to understand.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: March 11, 2020, 10:01:37 PM
CEX is doing very well as expected with most but investors seek a better adoption of DEX. The removal of anonymity by some DEX had been discouraging on use but the security is still attractive to some users. The obvious ability to contain wash trading to the minimal encourage the use of data both coin and exchanges. I desire the adoption of IEO on decentralized exchanges, where anonymity is still allowed to encourage investors that still insist on keeping there presence confidential in the space.

1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 18, 2020, 08:44:13 PM
I believe some people will be changing their stand in crypto just within February. A lot of people are still in fear of what to buy and some old fellas still know where to put their greed. By now people will be disappointed with the movement of ethereum as I am also, I felt so bad about ethereum last year and dont know the reason the coin was that bad with all the use case. And if it could sustain this till June, a moderate movement will be seen in other altcoins as time passes in the year.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: February 17, 2020, 09:24:39 PM
One needs to manage his emotion very well in this market, nothing looks like a bad market here is just the regular correction we have seen in past months. It should not generate a big discussion every time. Whenever bitcoin is going down we might need to check altcoins' bitcoin value to analyse the extent of dump in the whole market, it might only be usd value dump.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: February 17, 2020, 10:22:10 AM

if bitcoin were banned everywhere, why would demand increase? demand from who?
i mean sure, black markets could still exist, but prohibition greatly cuts markets down in size. all institutional investment would cease, mainstream retail investors would jump ship. its utility would be greatly reduced because cheap, legal fiat gateways would be gone and only expensive, black market exchangers would exist. miners couldn't operate in the open, reducing the value of the network's security as hash rate drops.
i don't think bitcoin would die but a million bucks? sounds like crazy talk to me. Smiley
I dont know how some people derive some theory of a big capacity of trade and price for bitcoin even if the first world country are against it. I was praying Trump wont go beyond the tweet last year to cause more commotion to the space.  I have always not beleive the space is as decentralized like spoken of and we are now getting to know more. Just USA and China lack of influence or trade in the space can crash it as low it was in 2013 in few days.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why bounty budget is becoming too much low? on: February 17, 2020, 10:12:55 AM
I think the reward increase in bounty towards the last bull run by the ICO,  also the dimension of crowdfunding is changing we are no more in the era of ICO  with high competition for campaign/awarenes, so also is the size of fund reduced. The percentage of token offered for sale is also small. The staking idea had caused a lot of hoarding of tokens to generate scarcity, the idea is hoarding token at all medium even with bounty. Exchange dont encourage large bounty reward if they want IEO . Also investors are scared of big reward bounty projects. It is also in the early stage of cycle of cryptocurrency like in the late 2015/early 2016,so those value in bounty reward are capable of over 100-1000x and encouraging the needs to be conserve rewards towards the bull run.
