i saw my silkcoin wallet back in bittrex, i thought i lost it all
is bittrex is doing the automated 1:1 exchange for silk?
The swap will be held exclusively on Weaver, excluding those who have managed to get their Silkcoin on Bittrex before close, Weaver is now open for registrations - https://silknetwork.org/register(Please check your spam folders for the confirmation email) Deposits for the swap for Silkcoin(SILK/SC)->Silk(SLK) will open within 24 hours. Users will know they can deposit as an address will simply appear in their deposit addresses. After deposits are confirmed fully, they will show up in transactions and your balance will then be updated. Your accounts will be credited at a 1:1 ratio on the 17th of September with the new Silk(SLK), the same will happen to those who have their funds stored on Bittrex. |

Okay I have downloaded. But I have fatal exception runtime error and crash. I have private message now too saying the development team will have an address to send my coins to to hold on to for the time being if poloniex closes the wallet? I am not sure about this..
note: We do not send out any private messages asking to send us your holdings! Assuming your coins are still on Poloniex. Delete your User\AppData\Roaming\Silkcoin folder. Download the wallet and copy the contents of the zip folder to User\AppData\Roaming\Silkcoin folder. |

And you had a security issue yesterday... But now it's cool your platform is safe? Have you had a 3rd party audit or are you just assuming that?
Who's running the bitcointalk account? I think the team should reconsider your responsibilities because you're making them look like amateurs.
You guys realize that in order for your plan to work, there must be high demand for DSLK ICO... My questions from yesterday were never answered, and I just happen to be someone who could invest.
And what are you doing to build your community? To spread the word? Looks like not shit. How are you going to generate demand?

Weaver was due to open at 8pm yesterday, due to some security issues/concerns we will instead releasing today.
The original date for opening Weaver was the 17th of September, and due to the Bittrex issues we have had to push that date forwards by 8 days.
We are doing our upmost to give you guys a place to deposit your coin and complete the swap.

Yes I tried the google drive link in a VM of Win 10 x64 and it crashes with DB error.
Edit: Nevermind, go the wallet to 'work' enough to create an address. I guess I can use that one to withdraw to even if the wallet isn't synced since it's private key deterministic I assume.
Yes, recover the privkey and wait for full sync and the funds will appear. Would be even better if there is a 'import and swap' function in the new wallet that would just allow you to import a SILK dat-file and sweep it to new SLK/Weaver. Silk(SLK) is a new chain, different ticker and different base58 addresses, so sadly this is not possible even if we wanted to. |

I don't know I'll have to ask him but I know we demo tested 1 coin first that worked then I got a message from him saying he sent the rest of his coins and he never got them and the wallet is in maintenance but I'll double check with him. You need to download and sync the old Silkcoin wallet and move your coins from Poloniex, click here. Once Weaver opens for deposit register an account and send them there. |

I'm not sure I understand. Can I get SLK at the Weaver with BTC in anyway? Buying or weaving I don't care.
I am interesting in the premium option at the Weaver registration. This is why I am asking, weaving, hedging, buying and selling I believe are all the same thing correct? The Weaver will effectively have 3 wallets for each user?
Weaver will be active once DSLK is, this will not be the case at registration, it will open deposit for Silkcoin(SC/SILK)->Silk(SLK) swap. Weaver swaps coins between BTC/SLK/DSK at market price, a user will be have 3 addresses available to him for BTC/SLK/DSLK repectively. Ok...I'm a bit confused. So...I currently have silkcoin on Polo...what is the process to convert this? thanks...
EDIT: I read the OP. I understand that come the 18th, I can use either Weaver or Bittrex to do a swap from Silkcoin to Silk...correct?
Downoad the wallet linked in OP as soon as possible, send your coins and hold them there to bridge the period until Weaver opens for deposit which will be the 8th(tomorrow) at 8pm(EST). So bittrex is not exchanging or accepting deposits?
Can we hear from dev please?
Bittrex is exchanging current Silkcoin(SC) holdings to Silk(SLK), unfortunately it was decided to close deposits prematurely for reasons mentioned earlier. Weaver will be accepting deposits on the 8th as mentioned in the OP. |
