Yes I deleted the older version I had on my computer thinking I could fix it by downloading a brand new one from the Silknetwork.org this morning and there is problems with it that the devs need to fix as this will definately cause loss of confidence in the project for people that are not tech savy. We just want to be able to download and have an automated idiot proof (fool proof) wallet that will work and if this is not achievable I believe the project is doomed to tell you the truth. I just dld the wallet and it runs fine so its for the non tech and foolproof. is right, it works flawlessly Well you probably did something wrong when you were trying to upgrade the wallet(give us more details about what you deleted and replaced) and please mate people here are trying to help and in my book when there's a will there's a way and then there's a future I have not deleted anything from the new Silk wallet? I downloaded a brand new download on a totally different computer to download an entirely new win64 version wallet download from the www.silknetwork.org site and I have no active connections and its not working, so its not idot proof theres big problems with it and dont lead people to think theres nothing wrong as its not true. It needs fixing and it should work from the www.silknetwork.org win64 wallet download without having to update cof file bullshit runaround waste peoples time rubbish. It shows total incompeteancy on the devs part as I have lots of wallets from lots of coins and this does not happen, at the moment this is a complete circus. You were asked if you were using the latest version, you didn't state what version you are using. I have SLK @bittrex, If I move them to the Wheaver (Silk (ICO)) address, then, the SLK can be swapped for dslk? Is there some risk to lost the coins due to issues in the network, or the chain is working well? People talking about issues are taking about the old Silkcoin and the old chain. SLK deposited to SLK ICO address not showing up on weaver after 2 days.
Is it normal or should i freak out?
BTW it was a second deposit directly from bittrex. first one showed up within 24 hrs however this second one is outstanding after more than 40 hours.
I am waiting the same  I think our balances will show at the end of the ICO, am I wrong? They are processed manually, Matthew will update balances accordingly. Do not panic, if it shows on the block explorer, it is there. |

Update on my old silkcoin wallet. Still not syncing and has been stuck at block 1758337. Coins are still stuck in staking. The coins that I did manage to get out to the weaver have arrived in the weaver. My question now is, "how do we swap silkcoin to silk once the silkcoin has arrived in the weaver?" Any help would be appreciated.

We think it is quite obvious as to why the rebrand is happening. Bad connotations, unable to carry out business, constant questions about Silk Road and the projects name..... EDIT: We have spelled it out. |
