1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: November 24, 2017, 05:47:20 AM
Not time for work and/or school. Actually, I tend to forget doing my hobbies such as Playing basketball, hiking, creating music and etc. due to gambling. When I was still in college, I was so active in such activities up until our last days in school. Upon experiencing a win on my first visit in a casino, I became more thrilled and excited about gambling than in my hobbies. Though I tried to regain my stand over my addiction to Gambling by engaging again to my hobbies, but it was hard since every time I play ball or hike or listen to music, Gambling is always entering in my head.

What is happening with you is that you are killing your passion within yourself and replacing it with something which will not help you anyhow which is gambling. While the sport that you actually like will have may advantages like being healthy, enjoying nature, with hiking and playing basketball it will act as an exercise as well etc. Get this back and you will add more joy to your life.

1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum heading to the moon? Speculation Thread on: November 23, 2017, 04:31:10 PM
This is only the beginning. It will gain more value with time. 2018 will be the year of ethereum. I’m expecting a 3x or even 4x at least.

I was also having this expectation few months ago and thought that ETH will be near 4 figure mark in price . But we saw what is happening with ETH. BTC is jumping too quickly and ETH just sustaining itself at the near about same price and not rising with the pace of BTC. Just not sure for 2018 abut this coin for now.
1683  Economy / Economics / Re: good effect and bad effects of robots in replacing human Jobs on: November 23, 2017, 02:00:29 PM
as i said on the title what are the good effects and bad effects of robots in replacing human jobs.
What is your opinion about this guys.

The first positives that come to mind are increased productivity and removal of human error as well as lower costs. Then there are the negatives of potentially increasing unemployment (at least in specific sectors/jobs), removal of human input. Given time we will see more jobs replaced by robots and overall I'd say it's a good thing that will only allow us to grow our economy and further our development as a race.

To an extent yes I agree that productivity will increase this stand certainly true. But also some new sectors or job opportunities need to be created for those person whose place this robots will take. What will they do ? This will lead to a huge potential risk for the country if such huge number of people become jobless will lead to all destruction.
1684  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-23] Confido disappears after attracting $374,477 via ICO on: November 23, 2017, 12:10:38 PM
Things like this happen, unfortunately. It gives a bad rep to all other ICOs that mean well. I hope people will be more careful about which ICOs they want to invest their money in.

This is not the first time its happening. Previously also with some other ICO this has happened and this will certainly be going to impact the ICO. now each country may take a stand in coming time like China has taken to ban it. They raise the money for themselves and run away which is looting the public money. Also investors should consider a lot before investing in any ICO.
1685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trade on: November 23, 2017, 09:05:31 AM
this is a good idea. Is there anybody doing this set-up

Selling and Buying bitcoin on different exchanges?

Is it profitable. despite of bitcoin high transaction fees?

This is an arbitrage where you buy/sell between different exchanges or sites etc. It will depend upon the exchanges on which you are trading what are their fees, btc incoming fees etc.. Each country do have their exchanges and their transaction fees are different. So you would have to calculate based on exchanges you plan to trade to make this opportunity a viable option.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need some gambling strategies on: November 23, 2017, 06:44:13 AM
Strategies for gambling events need to be developed from the experience, should not go with strategies developed by someone else. Here too coincidence happens leading to winning and the same doesn't mean that the strategy was found successful leading to a bigger winning.

Well in many games strategies do now work because the casinos do exists from years inspite of people forming numerous strategies and if they would have being successful they would have minted money and casinos would run in losses and eventually had to shutdown. But that is snot happening means casinos are making money and only few people actually make money out of it.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some countries are prohibit BTC... on: November 22, 2017, 06:04:40 PM
Any country that believe and founded on the rule of law and openess will not prohibit bitcoin rather it will embrace it. Bitcoin can help many Government all over the world to curb corruption and excesses

This does not form true in many countries which are based on rules and regulations and have the constitution in place. Many countries are still left undecided about the cytpo currency in what form if they need to legalize it how can they do it and control it. Else they are left with a ban option if they go in a negative way.
1688  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin addresses with top 10 balances on: November 22, 2017, 05:45:48 PM
Who could be all this persons who hold such a big..... balances in their wallet and probably they would have bought in 2008 - 2009 time types and just hold it. Today they would be thinking that in 8 years if they were average today they come in the super rich category . Wonder what they would be think sitting back looking at this.
1689  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin from crashing? on: November 22, 2017, 10:56:11 AM
Crashing or not it's not depend on you or on me, it's depend on all the investors. The price is going up or down depend on the amount of demands on the market. If they're looking for Bitcoin to buy so the price of Bitcoin will be pushed to the moon.

Ideally we cannot stop the crash in prices of bitcoin because only if you hold the majority of the total coins which are in supply then you have some power to control back the price. Only if all the top investors come together and then decide to either pump or dump then it can effect the prices else nothing one can do about it.
1690  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin is Officially illeagal in Morocco on: November 22, 2017, 05:33:58 AM
Another country which has banned the bitcoin. Now it seems country have become stricter and small or big they may consider it as a threat rather than an opportunity for the economy to boost it. As people will pay more tax on their earning from this coins.
1691  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: November 21, 2017, 05:51:55 PM
Bitcoin is the strongest crypto right now and will remain same. Right now we can not call it a currency as there are some governments who are not prepared to accept BTC, but they will follow others soon.

Not every govt will accept the btc. Also they do not intend to call it as a currency since it is not issued by any central govt or bank. Thus it will always remain a virtual phenomenon and how each government of their country treats is their own lookout.  In terms of value and return nothing can beat it for now.
1692  Local / India / Re: Is Indian Government going to regulate Crypto?? on: November 21, 2017, 05:36:12 AM
At present the matter has reached to Supreme Court and they have advised the govt to look into this and regulate them . IF they cannot regulate it as it is a decentralized so then govt can ban this virtual currencies from India. We will need to wait what stand does India take on this.
1693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin price touch to 15000$ Mark ? on: November 21, 2017, 05:29:26 AM
Short answer is yes it will reach that.

Long version is yes it will reach that.

The first target of the btc is 10k and then keep moving on. Its being awaited to reach that 5 figure mark and grow from there on. As of now its 8k and positively Christmas may put some sales up and thus it will be a price rise in this case. Let us wait if we can reach to 15k in 2018 or not.
1694  Other / Off-topic / Re: world without bitcoins......!!!1 on: November 20, 2017, 05:17:22 PM

1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: November 20, 2017, 05:10:46 PM
Read some reviews on google mostly the sites are rated by people who try the site and you can also look here in the forum it would be a big help for you to know if the sites are scam.

Searching in google will help you get the best of the comments and advice about the genuineness of the existing site whether is it a scam or not. Also if unsure as mentioned rightly either you can search here on the forum or else open a thread about asking the reviews of the particular site and will know the answers in some time.
1696  Economy / Speculation / Re: I do not have the guts to buy bitcoins now. on: November 20, 2017, 05:26:41 AM
Maybe it is time to buy some bitcoin. As its value goes low and low.Maybe it will get high again.Buy for now as long as its low.It is your chance.

BTC price is moving up and up as the DEC and Christmas is coming near by. Hopefully we should again see a new rise in Dec as btc has now reached 8k. Wondering will it make a 2k jump in 40 days from now before we enter 2018 ? What will drive such a huge jump if it happens ?
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: November 20, 2017, 05:12:48 AM
I think investing ICO is a good investment channel. But now there are too many ICO projects formed that make the ICO no longer attractive as it was in mid-2017. You can still invest in ICO now, but analyze and monitor it carefully before deciding to invest in ICO.

People are stuck in identifying the difference between which is genuine and which is a scam coin. I think some sort of escrow service should be used in this which will assure people that it is not a scam and worth investing in their project.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it more profitable to Hold BTC or buying a lower price and selling at higher? on: November 17, 2017, 05:39:13 PM
One is investment where you buy and hold it for years or as per your requirement. Where you do not monitor much on daily basis . Other is called trading where you need to be active daily and keep finding opportunity to buy low and sell high and to get it right you will be rewarded with profits. Both are equally interesting.

Well you can earn easily this money. There are couple of thing which will help you earn some btc. If you are active on the forum then you can join the different signature, bounties, Facebook/twitter campaign and can get the payment in btc. Also you can do some micro earning tasks which will help you get some partial btc but still it will add up in your kitty.
