Post demonetization a phenomenal growth being recorded across various exchanges. How's being the start month of the year. How many total btc buy/sold and how many new members added in Jan 2017.
2662  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: MEGA Headphones SALE.. || JBL || Sennheiser || Philips || Check It Out on: February 03, 2017, 06:46:46 AM

2663  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Mining Farm [Bitcoin] Collaborating on: February 03, 2017, 06:44:32 AM
I always find Mining to be interesting but at the end when you see break even its never less than 3 -5 years which is not that worth.

1) You have space available. So say if you rent it out so how much will you get per year. I.e you losing a rental income.
2) Electricity next to zero as you mentioned, How much mining require huge electricity power supply and what is per unit cost and which place is it?
3) Cost of equipment and its maintenance per year.
2664  Local / Mining (India) / Re: How to spend $300 on mining on: February 03, 2017, 06:40:20 AM
Do not invest in cloud mining . Its better you buy btc worth of 300$ and keep it. As the price is rising automatically you will make more profit just by holding btc. While in cloud mining hardly there is any genuine company which pays you till end.
2665  Local / India / Re: BTC Purchase Directly now possible :D on: February 03, 2017, 06:23:20 AM
Finally an international exchange accepts INR (if that what the mail implies) and bitstamp is the best possible site we can buy bitcoins from. I was thinking to trade on international exchanges and sell on Indian exchanges as it's profitable with the fluctuating rates (international exchanges offer market rates while Indian ones offer 5% more than the market rates).

They are not accepting INR, Bitstamp or Card company will charge mark up fee for $.

Not sure about debit card but I checked through credit card bitstamp charging 8% fee so I don't think it's viable option.

Yes they will not accept INR  but USD , there will be 2.5% exchange rate for USD TO INR for sure but not sure about Deposit rate but 8% fee ? thats big lol . Moneypolo is far better then Smiley

Well certainly if 8% and 2.5% is found out to be true then certainly no point in buying from any International exchanges. Its better to buy from very own Indian exchanges. Because you may end up paying more if purchased from International markets.
2666  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2017-02-01] BS: RBI says it hasn't authorised use of Bitcoins; flags risks on: February 02, 2017, 07:05:55 PM
The Reserve Bank advises that it has not given any licence/authorisation to any entity/company to operate such schemes or deal with Bitcoin or any virtual currency.

The above statement is confusing.
Which part?

How do exchanges like Unocoin, Zebpay, Coinsecure get licenses to operate then?
Unocoin, Zebpay, Coinsecure have never claimed anywhere that they have RBI license to operate. Neither do eWallets like PhonePe or FreeCharge have any RBI license.

I receive INR from the exchanges to my bank account and if RBI is saying that I am doing it at my own risk, then will they question me later on about those transactions?
It is as good as receiving money from any individual on LocalBitcoins or selling something on OLX. Authorities may question you anytime.

I thought they were legal sources.
They are not illegal sources either.

But then it also means that who ever is trading with this exchanges can anytime be questioned about the trades and its sources so it is not good for bitcoin in India.

Yes. This can happen. Nothing different from the current financial system in India.
Exchanges that follow kyc and identification norms can give out information to authorities based on several disclosure, fraud maintenance systems, etc.
None of the Exchanges are trying to supersede this or even claim to protect users in the event that they are using Bitcoin in a questionable fashion.
Coinsecure, does not even buy or sell from customers, we only handle the exchange between people and collect a fee in its regard. We have contacted every possible authority in India with no positive response from them. So, we could either develop this technology further or wait for the law to catch up and we decided to self regulate and work hard on letting people understand it better.

And the RBI has not defined or taken any authority over Bitcoin, so not sure what licences they issue in that regard.
We have spoken to them in dribs and drabs over the years and nothing concrete has come out of it till date.

What we have is a fully registered company that has strong banking relationships and only transacts via those channels. Also, one of the highest paid up capitals/ operational balance across any Indian company to ensure that the law has complete faith on us.
We have very huge transactions on a daily basis via banks and no one involved in legitimate transactions has ever been in trouble.
We have had several enquiries over the years and have co-operated only after getting legal advice on each case. Am sure this the case with all Bitcoin company operators.

Thanks for the explanation and clearing the doubts of many people in India who would have being thinking on this .

Also as you mentioned that people involved in CS does not buy/sell from CS, so from past couple of days huge volume of buy worth 3 cr, today 1000 btc of approx 7 cr+ was seen in single transaction. This means that a user have transferred from his bank a/c to your a/c 7cr+  Shocked

Now this will catch the regulators eye and questions the person and will reach to you guys and finally they will crack the bitcoin business and its legitimate role may be in place and may even question other exchanges then.
2667  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: How to Trade in International Exchange? on: February 02, 2017, 05:48:50 AM

Thanks for your reply.

Buying @ Bitfinex for $920 / BTC is wise choice, b'coz Coinsecure price is $1000+

Is it bad to use international exchange?

The big question here is, how do you fund your Bitfinex account with $920 ?

If you are thinking of sending $920 to Bitfinex from your Indian Bank Account what are the costs associated with it ? What exchange rate you get ? How much time the fund transfer takes ?

What are the legal obligation involved in outward remittance from India?

The problem that they might currently face is, many exchanges have stopped considering Indians to be allowed to even sign up and open an account there, and if they can, they are still restricted from trading or buying/selling bitcoins on such exchanges because of inflated rates in India. I don't understand the exact reason behind it whether it is the high price only or is there something else that we don't know?

One more thing you can consider of buying is through LOCALBITCOINS.com site their also you can get cheaper then coinsecure and their you can buy with indian currency so even if you trade between localbitcoins and coinsecure you can nicely earn the difference rate benefit.

Well its difficult to identify the profile on localbitcoin how genuine it is or not. There are scammer who make payment from third party account and then you realized you are being in a cause of worry. Seller may be selling stole btc and you may not know about this.

RBI says it hasn't authorised use of Bitcoins; flags risks

http://www.business-standard.com/article/pti-stories/rbi-says-it-hasn-t-authorised-use-of-bitcoins-flags-risks-117020101273_1.html

The Reserve Bank today said it has not authorised dealings in or use of virtual currencies, and cautioned those investing in the instruments like Bitcoins.

"The Reserve Bank advises that it has not given any licence/authorisation to any entity/company to operate such schemes or deal with Bitcoin or any virtual currency. As such, any user, holder, investor, trader etc. Dealing with virtual currencies will be doing so at their own risk," it said in a statement.

Those investing in such virtual currencies are exposing themselves to potential financial, operational, legal, customer protection and security related risks, it warned.

What does this article indicate, is that bitocin is not yet being made legal in India and all exchanges and site could be cracked by government and a legal proceeding can be followed on them? This is scary and will change and prevent all new users to invest in bitcoin going forward.
2669  Local / India / Re: Zebpay and their unethical hidden fees on: February 02, 2017, 05:40:20 AM
This is the main reason of not using zebpay or coinsecure as they are not legit exchanges and they bend their rules as and when they like and they also dont give full details on clear,

They are very much legit site. Why do you say so that they are not? Also as far as known they do not make any changes on random basis yet and charge as per what they like. They have a standard rates and functionalities on which its based on.

2673  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: rs 2000 is it really worth it? on: February 01, 2017, 05:26:45 PM
This is just a rumor and various news channel have clarified this that its total rumor and they have tested the note and verified that there is no GPS inside any note. So kindly verify the facts.
2674  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Where the orders of 300+ BTC came from in Coinsecure.com? on: February 01, 2017, 01:25:34 PM
Coinsecure exchange is waste exchange , last month i created the account and even submitted my documents but from last week i am not able to login through my desktop computer and even their is no news regarding my documents got cleared or not.

So i think the transaction done on this exchange are also very suspicious

Kindly check with them up. Call them and check what do they say regarding the your new account creation. Are all the required documents submitted and they may also be verifying it so that is the reason it is taking longer time. Also there may be many new users created the account due to which they do not have enough manpower to handle so many request at one point.
2675  Local / Buyer/ Seller Reputations (India) / Re: BitFund(.in) - domain name is for sale! on: February 01, 2017, 05:37:20 AM
What are the Payment options you are accepting other than Bitcoin? and what is the minimum bid
Please visit this domain for make your bid.
min Price - 10000$

LOL seriously 10000$ for this website it means 10000*70 = 700000 Rs  Huh

What LOL? This is business. I have offer 3000$ this domain, but i not sell

What is business, offer is of 3k and you want 10k . Is this business you talking about  Cheesy. Do you think instead of paying 7lakh to you they can easily create another site and even after advertisement they will save a lot .
2676  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: BitFund.in - for sale! on: February 01, 2017, 05:35:17 AM
OP, you should post some information like your expected price, date of registration, transfer charges, etc.
I have a friend who trades domains and makes money off buying/selling them, has been in this business for years.
Quote your required price and you might have it sold, but quote something that is acceptable.

PRICE - 10BTC

(please visit this domain for make bid. The domain is registered to - GoDaddy.com, Transfer Service - sedo.com)

Bitfund.in for 10 btc i.e in INR that is almost worth 675000. Do you think anyone would like to but this at close to 7 Lakh Rs. Instead they will create another website with different name and spend half the amount on advertisement or their site and still saves a lot .

2677  Local / India / Re: Learn how to make a profit off your bitcoins. on: January 31, 2017, 05:27:36 PM
When first i read the whole post,i think its a great idea for growing my bitcoin. But when i reading some comments,i understood its the biggest scaming way.Sad Sad
But i heard that, paxful is a good and highly secured exchanger site. They have strong escrow service. If any one scam, they bane her accoun and take all of money, and back those money to the owner. So how can anyone scam there??
also want to say,OPs idea is so good for trader. If anyone can buy safely Gift crad, then he will able to earn a lot of money easily.

Thanks for the information. I was too skeptical to understand that its so easy as OP is mentioning that too without risk  Huh But certainly it has huge potential risk and instead of getting profit you many actually end up in a loss.

Yes guys its not easy as OP mentioned , OP totally overlooked the huge RISK of getting your Amazon account fucked , getting your Purse fucked when the scam wave comes .
Amazon gift card obtain and from LBC / PAXFUL which is a big no trust me . Its not worth the risk , if you still don't believe just do some research on this in google and you will see tons of people with crying face . Smiley

Purse is good of course but You can utilize it different way , like place some item order there which you listed in ebay with your btc and then sell that item drop ship Directly to ebay buyer's address for the same product listing of your in ebay Smiley ; think you can still earn huge by doing it Cheesy

Is there any other way in India where you can earn like buying btc and selling in some different alt or vice versa etc? Or their something like buying altcoin in India and selling on International against some other altocin or btc and again buying btc from there itself?
2678  Local / India / Re: What about Bitcoin PTC site on: January 31, 2017, 01:00:58 PM
Hello everyone

Does it good to invest the Bitcoin in paid to click site that give fixed earning

I have invested 0.005btc to upgrade the account

And the site is giving back 0.0075btc ( fixed income )
Profit of 0.0025btc

The site is new and also giving free credit for advertisement after purchasing the membership

Paid to click sites are just the same with faucets. They are both a waste of time.

Faucets are complete waste of time and you hardly earn anything and infact your electricity cost is more than what you earn . So at the end you are in a loss itself. Instead in that much time try to develop some new skills or learn new things.
2679  Local / India / Re: buy BTC on: January 31, 2017, 12:59:29 PM
What does it means just writing buy BTC? Can you be more elaborate and mention all the details as against what you are buying is it against INR bank transfer , Cash, Alt coin ? What is the rate you looking at is it Preev Price or Preev + 2% etc?
It is better to mention what are the rates? what kind of payments acceptable? If in cash then area of country-city etc. Be more elaborative. otherwise people will ignore your offer as spam.

Are you trading on bitcoin exchanges ? there are some good exchanges like coinsecure, unocoin, bitxoxo etc?
buying BTC for INR(Bank of Baroda) rate of 1 BTC = 69900 INR(Bank of Baroda)

If you are planning to buy bitcoin just purchase it using an exchange. Here no will be willing to trade with a newbie account.
I buy bitcoins online
willing to transfer money first

Your description is so confusing saying buy btc 0.1 to 100. It means that you are selling and looking for buyers and infact you are buying and looking for seller. Can you change the subject line to WTB( Means Want to Buy btc). This will be easy for all to understand as well.
