So, recently my personal laptop's hard drive got corrupted and all my data was lost, including private keys for my wallet.
...thankfully I already had a secure backup of them and no coins were lost.
Here I am sharing my technique to beginners so they can back up their private keys the same way I did.
Many of the users might be storing the keys/seed in some written form but physical damage to paper might lead to loss of your funds.
Here's how I do it:
1. Edit an image using notepad, paste the seed in between.
2. Add it to a .zip file and encrypt it by setting a password.
3. Create a new Gmail account and set up 2-factor authentication. Upload .zip file to Google Drive.
4. Remember this account's password, and Never use it. NEVER. Don't save to any password manager, just remember.
5. That's it, you got yourself a secure online backup for your keys.
Don't repeat the password in any step, or else this method might become useless.
I don't know if this is optimal or not, but comments are appreciated.
I am not really sure, edit image with notepad. Also that is complicated. We don't know : zip also can get virus Google maybe will block your account without notice also to open it we must use laptop, pc, phone. That is too long process... I am still choose to write it manually in paper then laminated it. Save in the deposit box, if you want really secure.  that's what I have been doing all this time to secure my private key, which is to write it on a piece of paper and put it in the ground, like planting a time capsule. I have a box made of stainless steel, strong for the long term. when planting private keys, I make sure no one knows. if saving on an online backup, it is very risky to forget the account in the long run and have to remember it all the time. |

You have interesting works and ideas and I will help or try to promote them to all of my social media which are mostly crypto users, I will try to help promote them. thank! I believe in your help! I like your craft and it is very interesting for me, if you accept payment by cryptocurrency. it would be nice to add a third party as collateral. if using a third party in the transaction is safer in my opinion, everyone will also believe if it is not deceptive. What if there is a defective item from the seller or the goods do not reach the destination, who guarantees the transaction if there is no third party? |

Yups,, it does not mean I do not believe in the existence of good and bad news, it is better to find a news source and do an analysis / observation. after that I discussed in grub. Lastly, make a decision on selling or buying. all the news that you find will be your consideration for making the right decision, if you believe in bitcoin, do your best and find out the truth because the popularity of bitcoin gets more bad news just to tempt the people who use it.
that's why I don't easily believe there is bad news about the popularity of bitcoin, because it's just a game of top people who want to get more profit. |

I remember the time before the introduction of merit when we just wrote in the forum without burdening ourselves too much with others and what others think of us.
Now it's different, everyone is struggling to get merit and advance in the forum.
I am not sure if this is fair to the younger members since the older members received higher forum ranks much easier.
It is especially difficult to advance for young members who can't write in English and can only participate in the local part of the forum.
the time has come when beginners have to struggle to raise their rankings in the forum. and very sad, the younger members who are now more happy to spam, only a part of the beginner generation who really earnestly struggling to raise rankings without spamming. actually not understanding English is not an obstacle in this forum, there are many language translator platforms as learning media, maybe it is difficult to learn grammar only. after all we in school must have learned English, of course we master it even though a little. |

what is just me, starting to get to know bitcoin for the first time, until joining this forum never get a good luck rolling every 1 hour from the freebitco.in site. I once collected up to 20k Sat, from ngeroll every 1 hour and got it from the referral. 20k sat just disappear, because I was tempted to play multiply (HI-LO) huufftt ...  it was very tiring for me to wait every 1 hour to claim, and just disappear. is there any tips and tricks for getting / winning bitcoin from the freebitco.in site apart from hockey? |

good or bad news is a gap for a trader to take profits and big investors will feel doubt with the bad news. it greatly affects the market price if investors sell in large quantities. so it would be nice for us to research the news in advance, gather other news sources and analyze the news. until now I believe that bitcoin is the future. So if there is bad news about bitcoin I don't easily believe it because it's just a market game.

so far i have joined and invested in cryptocurrency never felt failed. I was motivated by a friend of mine "it's never too late when we can do it and all that requires a process, before you do it you should find a way to solve it". So before I dive in and invest in cryto assets, I first look for loopholes to buy and sell if I feel a profit. I've also heard the best advice from someone that is trading is a profitable job, I got excited about investing and trading crypto assets.

not that easy, converting local currency to cryptocurrency, it requires a process and must discuss between the government and its people. Many countries of society do not agree with the system of bitcoin and others.

when talking about the source of money to be invested, most of it I get from the results of the bounty campaign & airdrop, also the results of the creator video content are also partially invested in the form of bitcoin.

Some have speculated that terrorists have discovered a way to use the platform crypto currency to gather identities from different people from all over the world. use their identities for terrorist activities. From threads that i have seen, there are people thinking that some ICOs are used to fund terrorist acts by luring investors into investing into their companies, getting KYC in exchange of money, gather a large sum of it and then run away with big bags of bucks.
IMO, these scenarios have big possibilities since there is the anonymity factor feature of crypto currency, we really do not have the knowledge as to whom and where the money will go for when it was transacted in cyberspace.

That's why I do not participate in KYC because of the risks. There are now a lot of issues about KYC because some of the identity have been sold online. Just stay out to KYC in order to protect our identity. oh no.. what about my fate that has already participated in many projects that need KYC verification, I think the first project that needs KCY verification is likely to be successful, especially bounty & airdrop. now I realize that participating in projects that need KYC verification is very risky. I used to attend an airdrop event, I had to verify KYC only for $1, Hmm.. -_- now I am more careful to participate in projects that require KYC verification |

A friend of mine complained that his posts were deleted because is grammar was poorly constructed, I was like,it should not be and that it must be more to it.
If for any reason a post will be deleted for such, it must have been that the post is such meaningless that the point is not clear enough. Please am I right? Or what do you think?
posts will not be deleted without cause, there must be a reason. as long as it does not deviate from the topic of conversation, constructive posts, not spammers, weighted writing / can be understood clearly, and follow the rules given then the post will not be deleted. if your obstacles are in grammar, you have to study deeper, until you really master them. many sites that provide grammar checks, ranging from free to paid, for example on the app.grammarly.com site, many services are offered to start from the application to the extension in your web browser. there is nothing to worry about as long as you follow the rules in this forum. |
