361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: January 06, 2020, 05:31:26 PM
maybe for some of us to be able to speculate with certainty about future market price movements, and some of them are accurate because of speculations made from strong instincts that can carefully read market charts. but most of the speculations made by everyone about market price movements are, of course, many unexpected. because basically market price movements cannot be ascertained and determined by anyone.
362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Bitcoin Halving will drive the price down... on: January 06, 2020, 04:59:32 PM
We cannot predict what will happen to the price of bitcoin after halving where it will be boost its price or it will cause massive crash. But one thing is sure and there will be changes after the halving. I do not rely on others opinion, I see now a lot of posts about halving and I observed that there are now many hyped people because of this news. I will only base my actions on what will happen in halving.

yes of course it cannot be ascertained whether bitcoin will increase or vice versa after reducing it in half. most likely after that event, there will be a big change in market price movements in the future.

and I feel that everyone's hopes will come true after that event happens
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: January 06, 2020, 04:31:30 PM
at the moment of course there are still opportunities to invest in crypto before the market price rises sharply. and of course it is not a serious problem if you choose to invest in other types of coins besides bitcoin, the most important type of coin to choose is a potentially good coin to make into a long-term investment form
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: January 06, 2020, 04:07:29 PM
If Ethereum replaces Bitcoin I won't be surprise. Ethereum features looks promising
LOL. Which part of it looks promising? I could even see the upgrade 2.0 as something ordinary that other altcoins have implemented for a long ago and not really an innovation. Also to mention the number of coins premined owned by the developers which is enormous making it vulnerable to dump even by the devs itself. I can't see how ETH could replace bitcoin. Even the mass adoption is still far below bitcoin despite having huge market capitalization.
although Ethereum is the most potential Altcoin among others, it will not be easy to replace bitcoin which has a large market capitalization. still requires a long process to be able to replace bitcoin. not even that easy, chances are that won't happen
365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So traders, how much You lose? on: January 05, 2020, 05:50:34 PM
If I lose in a trade, it is okay for me as long as the loss is up to 10% only. There are really trades that are against to my bias so for me it is normal to lose sometimes. I also keep learning different ideas and knowledge from my losses. Loss are good to me because it makes me a better and improved person. There are traders who keep losing big amount of money because of they are not good in terms of risk and management.

experiencing losses in trading is normal, but losses cannot be said to be good, because most people do not want to experience losses in trade, but rather they try to minimize the losses that have been experienced by learning from the mistakes they have done
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: January 05, 2020, 05:25:54 PM
How many of you guys have listened to OP advice? i hope you don't, the little recovery that happened yesterday makes all altcoins turned greenish on coinmarketcap, the fact is crypto will remain unpredictable so better hold on to your precious altcoins and be brave
Better to sell while you can rather then selling it when it dropping.. I would sell all my altcoins and buying some top 10 coins on coinmarketcap. I would not dare to hodl any new tokens cause it always failed and dying faster then the top 10 coins on coinmarketcap.
For the new coins themselves, I agree with you that many new coins will eventually become worthless and only become junk in the wallet. And I personally will also sell tokens that I get when the tokens have a small value compared to deciding to keep holding it and in the end it actually has no value in exchange.

in fact, sometimes newly launched tokens might have an opportunity to increase their value in the future if the project has a strong and trusted team that can develop related projects in the future. but lately there are many new tokens that have no value at all in the market and only become worthless coins. therefore most people don't want to last too long on new types of coins, when they are still valuable most of them sell coins immediately because they don't want to risk too long
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the hot topics of crypto in 2019? on: January 05, 2020, 04:43:41 PM
There were lots of "hot topic" though most of them were created just out of hype. I guess announcing Libra was the most buzzing topic of 2019. Facebook, a well known company supporting the blockchain technology and creating their own currency while getting bashed by the government actually created a lot of discussion. Many people were really excited (and some were calling it shit which makes sense if you think logically) to see it get launched. By the end of the year, the most discussed topic was about the upcoming halving of bitcoin. People are hoping the price to rise and thus investing on it.

yes, i think libra coins are the hottest topic in 2019. before libra coins were launched, many pros and cons can be assessed by most people in this forum, many think libra coins are coins that are controlled by the government due to factors from a number of capable institutions supports related coins
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2020, 04:07:18 PM
I'm still keeping my bitcoin and waiting for the price to go up and I think it could happen next year after halving as the price could go down and bounce back like in year 2016. Bitcoin holding is also much preferred by anyone as it is a safe thing for a long-term investment and the price increases every time it is halved. But even if you were still in a bear market, we can still take advantage of the market. Hopefully in the future bitcoin will make us all rich

it is certainly the hope of everyone, making bitcoin as a long-term investment that can provide benefits in the future. most people choose to save bitcoin for the long term because they think it's the simplest way and can avoid panic when the market price has dropped very sharply
369  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying online with crypto? Its worthed? on: January 05, 2020, 03:27:03 PM
Is it worthed to Shop online with crypto instead of Fiat Currrency?

For example:  booking hotel or flight with crypto?

Yes of course buying or using our bitcoin to book flight is good because we don't need to convert our fiat money to bitcoin and i think there's some privalage if we use bitcoins to pay our booking maybe discount .
I didn't heard any stores, shopes, hotels, restaurant or even an airport here in my country in which you can pay bitcoins or altcoins as a mode of payment but I guess if this scenario will happen, like what you have said it is more convenient and easy to use your bitcoins or even altcoins as a mode of payment because you dont have to waste every single time to convert it into fiat. I hope that this will be possible soon for me to be able to use my bitcoins without taking time to convert it into fiat and pay my bills and other financial related agendas.

maybe some countries have accepted crypto as a payment method to shop online, or order online for other purposes such as booking hotels and the like as op said. if this is the case, of course crypto is appropriate to be used as a payment method because it has a very valuable value like the fiat we use
370  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plan if no significant move on Bitcoin price along with the halving? on: January 04, 2020, 04:57:36 PM
if prices does not move or rise like other and past halving . i hope everyone hold because bitcoin is a money that we can make buy of product shop for example ; so bitcoin have high value for other stock and market too

of course it would be better to hold it than to throw away the valuable assets we already have because we feel pessimistic if the market price does not rise. if we look at the movement of bitcoin market prices from the start created until now it must have experienced a very drastic change, therefore we must remain optimistic about future market price increases and of course many people predict market prices will be more valuable in the future
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good sign for market on: January 04, 2020, 04:29:20 PM
For the past four years we have witnessed a massive drop starting from last week of December when it comes to the price of bitcoin but this year it was not the same case, does that mean that we have good days ahead? because even during 2017 bull run it started in November and lasted till the beginning of 4th-week of December then the price started to drop.

I think this is a good sign for bitcoin.

It still a bit early to tell as we ain't noticing any significant changes in the market. Though we are all hoping for a better market this year we still can't leave the idea that the market go upside down. But what's sure right now is that we had started better than previous year, but what lies ahead still unsure. And bullrun still uncertain when to come.

Yes, many people are preparing for this, and I think most people are hopeful that the market price this year will be better than the previous year. if we feel confident that there will be an increase in market prices this year, don't keep waiting for when the bullrun will come, let the time answer all that because an increase in market prices cannot be ascertained when it will happen
372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin now Pump and Dump? on: January 04, 2020, 03:55:54 PM

I have watched this space for a couple of years and while on it, I felt that bitcoin prices are usually driven by global supply and demand which is a factor of real world usage. But recently, I have also gotten another perspective that bitcoin might just be a tool in the hands of a few whales, manipulated for quick and short gains on daily bases. If that's the case, as we near $6500/btc and even lesser as analysts suggest, when then do we see $100k/btc or its just a hoax to keep the pump and dump pendulum swinging

not surprisingly, bitcoin price movements can be manipulated by whales or groups of people who have large capital to be able to play prices, but market demand and supply is certainly the biggest influence on the ups and downs of market prices
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: January 03, 2020, 05:10:42 PM
For now I guess I cannot say its better because fiat currency is still currently in use and locally its really the means of exchange. We most likely convert crypto to fiat in order to make use of it in our daily expenses. When talking about future endeavors, definitely its better to earn and save crypto starting now to prepare for the full time usage of crypto all over the world.
In my own personal opinion, it's true that fiat currency is the currency that we use for exchange in goods and services, but when it comes to security, encryption, and fast transaction cryptocurrency will still be better than fiat. Also, crypto is decentralized that no one can control it even the government, that is why it is fine to me, even we can't use crypto in the real world.
its mean the cryptocurrency and fiat money same good? yeah true, fiat also has useless in real life, when you want to buy something and payment with that
cryptocurrency use by invesment. when i thinking that cryptocurrency better than fiat maybe many people leave it but now it not happen, people still use fiat its mean cryptocurrency and fiat same good.

cryptocurrency is a new breakthrough made by developers to facilitate all transactions, even one of the advantages it provides is that cryptocurrency provides transactions so quickly rather than fiat. However, most people certainly still use fiat for payment transaction tools, and I think both are good and have their own advantages.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 03, 2020, 04:13:34 PM
2020 is certainly the most anticipated year, especially for long-term holders, of course many expect that this year cryptocurrency will experience a sharp increase. but no one knows for sure if the market price this year will increase or even vice versa be a bad year for cryptocurrency
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: January 03, 2020, 03:40:12 PM
We all know January always the though months for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has just started to rise. I don't know it is real or only an another trap for price fall.

What do you think? Are we ready for rise? And Is it really good time for rise?
For me there are no certain months where bitcoin would have a good price, it would still depend on the market's movement from time to time no matter what. I have seen lots of times where bitcoin didn't went high on the same month with different year so I don't think it's practical to depend on the month of the year. The best you could do to know if there would be a rise sooner or later is through monitoring the market price of bitcoin as much as you can so that you can see if the movement is constantly going high or going low.

of course there is no specific month to be able to repeat the same thing if indeed in the past bitcoin price movements have increased in the same month, if events always recur then everyone can certainly prepare more carefully before there will be an increase in prices occurring
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: January 02, 2020, 05:52:16 PM
now is still the right time to add the investment that we make by making as many purchases as we can because the market graph is currently experiencing a slight decline back and there are no signs of an increase in market prices will occur
377  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: January 02, 2020, 05:22:57 PM
important for everyone to be able to study economics at university because of course it can equip ourselves to be able to manage finances, know the benefits of interest rates that will be obtained from the investments we make or deposits we make from various financial institutions such as banks or other institutions
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: January 02, 2020, 04:42:51 PM
Why it is very important to always have control when gambling and its the number one we should have
  • Many people gamble without thinking and spend all his/her money remember that you spend hours earning that money for your family and also for yourself but our responsibility is bigger
than anything else, because there are times that we for about this things, and forget that we have a family to feed for me its okay to spend some money for gambling but there are rules you
need to control your emotions because i saw people who spend all their money while their children have nothing to eat, bills not settle and at the end of the day they spend their times in the
streets ending is the commit crimes children don't go to school i hope everyone will remember this and be able to help everyone here , what im saying is its okay to gamble but don't compromise
    your families

therefore gambling that we will do should never ever use the money we will give to our families, but bet using the money left over from the details we previously shared for the most important purposes first so that the gambling that we do later does not will have a heavy burden, so as not to force yourself to always win in gambling that we will do and be able to make the game more calm
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: January 02, 2020, 04:14:52 PM
It is not always good to advertise one's success, most of the stated dangers are associated to it. Inasmuch that at every gambling gain there is a lose at the other side and most losers are more desperate under pressure. Before you make an huge amount in gamble such as casino you must have experienced some losses and with this you should have been matured to control your excitement when you make gain. Let your success speak.

If they want to avoid stealing, they will shut up, and they will not talk about a big gain in gambling because they will risk their money. That will invite the thief to try to steal the money if they don't be careful. Some people don't have experience by losing the money in gambling games, and that is because they have luck while they played. But that will not happen to the most gamblers because the luck will come to the right gambler.

it doesn't hurt if someone wants to express their excitement because they have already benefited greatly from gambling, but the thing to avoid is not showing off winning via the internet or social media because as you said it is feared that it can invite criminals to steal easily what we have about the victory that we get from gambling
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your view on current crypto market? on: January 02, 2020, 03:23:38 PM
there will be a recovery in market prices in the coming weeks, but it is uncertain when that will happen. and I think the price of bitcoin will experience growth and experience significant changes this year.
