Many BitTorrent clients now search the LAN for peers and download rapidly from them if they're seeding.
Waiting for the whole block chain to be downloaded while you've got another computer with it up to date is aggravating. Now, I suppose I could copy some files, but I'm not sure which ones to copy and frankly I shouldn't have to. Ideally, Bitcoin should use the same technology that BitTorrent clients now use to find local peers. That being said, I'd happy being able to give the client a local IP and have it copy over the first 100,000 or so blocks quickly.

Illegal immigrants (how a human being could possibly be considered "illegal" is beyond me)
Fuck you!

I've specifically chosen images where copyright is unknown and/or unclaimed (i.e. Mostly amateur/selfshot). If any copyright holders of images on my website wish to be compensated, they are more than welcome to contact me.
The plan is later to add premium content which would be done exclusively for my site, but I need to work out if the price can be justified first. So basically you're displaying pornographic pictures of women you don't know, without their permission, for profit. Someone ought to make you the star of an amateur snuff scene. I'd pay top dollar to see it!

Why are you begging for Bitcoins if you're mining at 1300 MH/s?

Why can't I buy Bitcoin from this guy with cash through a Canadian bank? https://www.nanaimogold.com/buy.php It's listed under the options, but once you select Bitcoin it's disabled. This is the only service I'd be interested in from him anyway, so it's frustrating.

There's no charge to receive Bitcoin. If people want to pay a transaction fee, that's up to the buyer.
There's also no charge to store Bitcoin. EGold has a storage fee.

Just so we're all clear, this usurer is asking for an APY of 79.5% (1.05^12 - 1). Cash advances on even the most expensive credit cards are cheaper than that. I suppose he's still offering you a better deal than payday loan places though.

Still, with the pools closed, there's no telling how high it could go!

If the sort of growth we've seen this past month continues, it's safe to say that the spot price of Bitcoin will be at least $100. That being said, it could go much, much higher! If the dark pools closed and large buyers were forced to make orders out in the open I'd say it'd be over 9000 within a couple years.

Well, I did fail 9th grade due to Civilization 1, but it's more that I only discovered BitCoin last Friday, had an HDD die on me while mining (Taking my private key with it! ) and that my wallet holds a meer 6.73 BTC. Apparently, you failed English as well.

Why didn't you get back to my message? Did you get it?
You need to get Bill Keller to accept Bitcoin! I'm sure you can.

It's economically neutral - there are no barriers to entry, so it should propagate to whoever is interested. If you want more <insert minority here> to use bitcoin, by all means go tell them about it! This sort of attitude, denying white privilege while claiming an equal playing field exists, merely perpetuates racial inequality. It's nothing more than an excuse for inaction and an attempt to moralize imperialism.

Today business products and even ideas are recognized as worthless if they don't promote ethnic diversity.
Ethnic diversity is quickly being realized as the single most important objective for human endeavor. Fortune 500 companies realize this and have complex plans to encourage diversity. Workers are often sent, on company time, to diversity seminars. For the government, the same is true. Since the 1950s, the United States Federal Government has worked relentlessly to promote integration and diversity in the United States and abroad.
What use is Bitcoin if it doesn't do the same? How can we ensure that Bitcoins are distributed equitably to traditionally underrepresented groups? What is being done to ensure the proliferation of Bitcoin infrastructure amongst communities of color?

In the case of cheating, I will track you down like a rabid dog, hack off your legs with a hedge trimmer, rape you with a corncob, and boil off your corpse in an acid bath. You sound highly disturbed.

So when are you going to start developing these other softwares?

Why not just come up with a system that accepts credit cards?
I personally hate PayPal, even though I happily used it with CoinPal. If there were a reasonable credit card alternative, I would happily use it instead of PayPal. You'd save money on interchange fees, since PayPal wouldn't be taking its cut. Sure the risk of charge backs would probably be a bit higher, but measures could be taken to reduce fraud. There'd be no risk of PayPal cutting us off again. Best of all, we could finally stick it to PayPal.

A central bank counterfeits money, which is a form of theft since it's making the dollars in our pockets worth less which hurts the poorest worst of all. Poor people have debt, the real value of which is reduced by inflation.
