101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting coins! on: May 18, 2017, 07:46:19 PM
But something I don't like is falling back on assumptions rather than checking out specific facts.

The fact is the quoted repository does not have a COPYING file.

Cheers

Graham

Maybe he very considerately doesnt want anyone copying the shitcoin code base? Who knows? I would t assume the worst in this project the developer doesn't seem to even own much. He worked with Peter Szor in the past, he an older guy in his forties, doesn't seem interested in the money side. He's also deaf.

I just think you dismissed a project based on some possibly easily explainable point. Familiarise yourself with the project you might find like many others already it's something great. If you find real definite concerns I would be the first to want to know about them.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GetGemz was it a 1.2 Million USD ICO scam? or is there some hope for gg owners? on: May 18, 2017, 07:35:56 PM
Too bad GetGems didn't work out. The concept had elements that remain valid and interesting. I'm certain it wasn't intended as a scam. However, once it began to fail, there was a troubling lack of transparency and very possibly a major conflict of interest.

Intended as a scam or otherwise there is clear precedence for legal action. Throughout the initial  development of Paykey Daniel Pelegrín issued statements saying that Paykey was developed by GetGems. Perhaps I am jumping the gun and GetGems adopters will be rewarded on launch of Paykey. Paykey is still under development after all.

The truth is these guys knew exactly what they were doing. They made every legal point work for them. That's why they made some huge worded disclaimer about what tokens are.....and the big thing they aren't is any claim on the company. Token are a very narrow product, they knew that.

The lesson to learn of if you ever hear of a token sale....run a mile, a token doesn't mean you own anything and can move on and make your token obsolete anytime they want. That's why this Israeli guy is doing another token sale on his trading platform sale. If successful you know he will charge people or get banks seed money etc. Token holders will be frozen out.

Also don't trust coins that seek seed capital, it looks great, free money right? But it always comes at the price of handing over something to them. Ripple is bullshit, go make money trading it, but it's not crypto, it's banks using crypto to do the same shit they always do, screw everyone.

If I was king I would hang them....but I'm not.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maidsafe, Sia or Storj, which one do you like the most? on: May 18, 2017, 05:54:27 PM
ExtraBYtes is a new blockchain model using proof of signature. While storage is not the main focus it will be one of the first services that will be built on this security focused chain.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting coins! on: May 18, 2017, 05:43:39 PM
An entirely new way to do a blockchain

The repository contains copied bitcoin code but the developer has removed the COPYING file, a classic indication of a developer with a distinctly idiosyncratic model of the world. You might wish to leaven your enthusiasm with a small dose of cool reality.

Cheers

Graham

The project has been completely tansparent, everything you mentioned was first made known by the developer himself. The coin base was such a mess after forking from a scam the developer decided it had to go once he decided it couldn't be cleaned up.  So a brand new core code is now mirroring the old coin and soon the Genesis block will be launched and the old chain dropped.

One thing I've found is so many on here understandly are very cynical. But something I don't like is falling back on assumptions rather than checking out specific facts. I've yet to see a criticism of the project based on actual reality.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How secure and strong are the tools cryptocurrency use? on: May 18, 2017, 01:41:58 PM
XtraBytes has claimed it has solved the security flaws in the blockchain 100%, not hard but actually impossible to hack....just saying.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: May 17, 2017, 08:36:36 PM
Here's the next big thing that no one has heard of yet..scroll down and read the paragraph.

https://github.com/borzalom/XtraBYtes

And don't believe any project like IOTA that says its quantum computer safe, it's not...this is.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency on: May 17, 2017, 08:32:53 PM
Take a deep breath, scroll down and read this before you think you know what the best crypto is...

Hi,

There are some coins I find interesting?

Siacoin - cloud storage, a lot cheaper. Great idea

Ripple - had always my interest because they offer a very good solution for banks

Golem - a good solutions for computer graphics and machine learning

Wetrust - rosca market

Do you have some interesting coins? And why? Why is it better then others?

That's an easy one. Almost no one knows about it yet but it's already exploding a community. Just scroll down and read the paragraph to get an idea how big this will be.

An entirely new way to do a blockchain, static nodes give cast iron security and the nodes with have a layer using CHORDS technology to make the most efficient P2P system there is.

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 17, 2017, 08:16:59 AM

Absolutely! The development team are cautious to run before we can walk though. More than likely they would want to get rid of old chain and get Chords system running and checked. I estimate a month or two, but that's a pure guess. The sooner we get off Yobit the better, I'm no Gandhi but the site is wall to wall scams and pump and dumps. Most coins they are buying are dead.lol.

I recognise you from many coins I've been involved in the past. Welcome, this one is a keeper I think.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about XBY ? on: May 17, 2017, 07:15:30 AM
I applaud reviving a coin but there's also a bunch of bagholders with the incentive to pump the shit out of it.

It wasn't a revival if you look at the story, there was no real coin to revive. Many early investors bought cheap as first ICO investors dumped their coins. Everyone I've spoken to bought on Yobit, me also. It's the first and probably last time I will go on that shitty scammy site, and most of the community agree with me.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about XBY ? on: May 17, 2017, 07:13:05 AM
Yes, I have an opinion.  It is 420 sat overpriced at its 24-hr low.  Stay away from coins on Yobit that don't have the letters B-T-C in them, because you're sure to do a faceplant right on the trollbox.  Seriously.

Though no fault of its own this coin was listed on Yobit and CCEX. True the place is a cancer BUT the fact is it's an amazing project on a cancerous site, simple generalisations is lazy thinking. Did you actually look at its innovation?

XBY will be on Bittrex and possibly on Poloniex in the not too distant future I'm confident of that.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about XBY ? on: May 17, 2017, 07:07:57 AM
Yes the price has moved very quickly but thinking this is a pump is a mistake, it got overheated and has corrected to the trend now. The tech brings something completely unique to crypto. Research people, less drama.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SERIOUSLY.......A bitcoin killer? on: May 15, 2017, 09:09:25 AM
Yup.. it's NOT an ICO.. but well.. it's an ICO  Cheesy
Even better "Community Take Over"  Roll Eyes

Yup.. Bitcoin is dead now guys ..it's official.

Oh and i like how my topic got deleted for being trolling yet this ADVERTISING is still here.

It sat on Yobit for 1-40 sats for a week free for anyone to buy as original ICO were happy to dump it to get their original investment back. If you missed this then I guess it's same as missing Bitcoin at $1 is that our fault you missed it?

No one is saying Bitcoin is dead.....don't be a dumbass.

*You only have 24 hours to register a node, after that period you won't be able to register one of these special elite nodes (thats why I thought it was fair to tell others in the wider community so no one can say they didn't have a chance)

This is a red flag for me. Only 24 hours notice? This is my first time seeing the thread, so I think I can reasonably say that "I didn't have a chance".

So, now I can't start a masternode and cannot earn a percentage of the transaction fees.

This is similar to an instamine, but it is an instamine of masternode privileges. It is definitely unfair to those who find out about the coin after you cannot setup a masternode...

Maybe it is still within the 24h period you claim, but I still will not participate in solidarity of all who will not find out about this coin until after that timeframe. It is unfair to them.

Any cryptocurrency with such a scheme will never gain users and adoption, as the early adopters are given an unfair advantage.

People had about two weeks to set up a node not 24hours.  Wanna know how many were registered in two weeks?

500!

Third of supply taken out of action. If it a scam a lot of people have been fooled lol. It's legit, personally I like the community amateur start to the project, I'm tired of ICOs taking a few million BTC, and investors end up with a coin that often drops in value. This seems old school crypto to me where propelled can get in on the bottom rung, love it.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XtraBYtes speculation. on: May 05, 2017, 08:44:17 PM
What buzz have they created?

Well look at the thread, it's on fire and XBY is only on shit exchanges like Yobit. The slack is also buzzing has 200 members after one week. Something is happening here, it can't be denied as hype or bullshit.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there anything that is still 'undervalued' on: May 05, 2017, 07:08:23 PM
IOTA - as far as I know it is the only coin that has zero fees.

On top of this, it is massively scalable, is quantum proof and has real world partnerships with major companies.

https://blog.iota.org/iota-development-roadmap-74741f37ed01

IOTA is amazing....but is it undervalued is the question. I heard its already passing hands at 250m market cap. To be a decent ROI now would need it to be in the billions. I wish I bought in the ICO.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there anything that is still 'undervalued' on: May 05, 2017, 06:39:39 PM
This is the most undervalued coin I have personally seen since Darkcoin/Dash when I bought in 2014. Just like then Ive gone all in with all the risks and benefits that might entail. Wish me luck!  Cheesy

Heads up on a small market cap that is already creating some buzz.

No ICO, No premine, Hardcap at 650,000,000, NO POW, NO POS, Unique technology which makes for super fast and the safest chain there is. Uses Proof Of Signature POSign which signs Static trusted nodes which are offline and unhackable. Consensus again uses a unique technology Chords which communicates in a unique and efficient way.

Absolutely new, almost unheard of so far. Research yourself and you probably will come to the conclusion I have and that is buy the shit out of it. I look at a coin like IOTA which is no more a
technical leap than this but is already passing hands at 250 million market cap before it hits the exchanges. So my guess is this could be massive.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chord_(peer-to-peer)

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xtrabytes/

Yeah the graphics are shit, its just starting to find its feet and the community and thread is exploding. Potential before everyone jumps in I think.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin is the most undervalued right now? (list) on: May 05, 2017, 05:40:51 PM
Imagine a coin that is only a week old, NO ICO, No Mining, NO POS, NO premine, completely new consensus system using static nodes that can't be hacked as they are offline, and uses Cord system unique to Crypto. So basically the technology just as great as IOTA and its less than 2million market cap.

Then thats XBY. XtraBytes.

Do your own research on it you won't regret it.
I'd like to put this coin into my list, would you please tell me the what is the price expectation do you have for this coin?

Well IOTA is also trying a new consensus but a completely different method and is just as unique. They haven't even got on an exchange yet and are trading privately at 250 million!

So I'll be conservative and say XBY which has marketcap of 1.5m could go to 100m marketcap quite easily. The system goes online in about 10 days so we should see some rapid growth soon.
Thank you for your precious suggestions.
Where can I see the marketcap of XBY? What price do you think it worth right now? (I need this data to put it the list)

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xtrabytes/

I think with its unique tech it could do 100m market cap. That would put its price at 15-20 cents maybe. As you can see there is a large supply...but its hard capped and much of supply will go into static nodes in time.
