21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW XBY ANN] XTRABYTES - INTEGRATIVE MODULAR BLOCKCHAIN INNOVATIONS on: August 18, 2017, 06:02:12 PM
"Through use of the DICOM API developers are not limited to a single programming language; as is often the case with other blockchain technologies. Instead we will provide an environment that they are free to program in, using their preferred language and using DICOM API to deploy the module to the XTRABYTES Eco-system."

This is gonna mean anyone can stick their already functioning software on XTRABYTES platform? Shiiiit that would be amazing with a flood of apps and software running at XBY to onboard. This could mean a huge amount of already functioning apps could integrate even before most ETH apps will.

Why not take some open source software like Telegram and make it decentralised???

This guy gets the idea!!! Smiley

Yes you are 100% correct!

Saying this could be the next Google doesn't sound crazy anymore.

23  Bitcoin / Project Development / How muh does it cost to do an animated video? on: August 07, 2017, 04:24:00 PM
Can people give me a ballpark figure how much its costs to make a professional looking a couple of minute professional animation with voice over etc to explain a project.

Are there people on this site that will do it?

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀[ANN][PRESALE] Snapup - A revolutionary way to shop for premium products on: August 07, 2017, 04:19:30 PM
My problem with ICO's like this is IF the product is so damn good why don'y they just earn money from its success. oh yeah cause probably it wont be but still they get paid like it was....
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For ICO, which platform better (Omni, Waves token or ETH?) on: July 19, 2017, 04:40:14 AM
Forward thinkers should look at Xtrabytes. The platform will run any programming language but more importantly has none of the scaling and security problems of ETH. The last thing a big company needs is ETH screwing up in the future. XTRABYTES is bullet proof. Its due to become open source soon.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: July 19, 2017, 04:36:35 AM
It was suggested on slack that anyone had any legitimate issues they should post on here and explain the reasoning. So here goes.

I've watched this project for a few months now so am familiar with it. I think like others appreciate CCREVS work in early stage of XBY but I think that is not enough to jeopardize people's investments. My concern is this that people familiar with the project understandably like CCREV as a person but how things are now outsiders will assume he is the leader of Xby. My problem is CCREV is clearly to any casual outsider looking into XBY a person that will not inspire professional people to understand that Borz is making a potential ETH rival. To head big projects people usually have some credentials of either being an absolute genius in crypto like a Vitalik or someone who has a proven track record in tech industry. I humbly suggest CCREV has neither as 99% of us and I include myself also don't. A professional high level project like this MUST have someone at the helm of power with that kind of credentials I believe.

At this stage as we are still very unknown we can weather these storms of CCREVS creating but as we grow even one of these events could literally destroy the reputation of XBY. We see this everyday in crypto if a website crashes or a developer is rejected by the wider crypto community. Tech is almost everything but not everything, how a project presents and its reputation is also essential.

I really don't know how to say anymore without looking like someone who is attacking someone. Bottom line I just feel like this project and all the work being done by the developer and the team and the communities hopes and real money (which should not be belittled as it is the fruit of their time and effort often) is being disregarded and held to ransom for the personal whims of one person who sorry I have to say this but is completely non essential to the future success. I don't have answers really, just concerns. I don't see this as a personal attack as I believe all men are made equal but we must all act for the good of others not just ourselves.

My problem is he seems to keep being incompetent but everytime hits out at trolls instead of recognising his own incompetence. That will really piss a lot of people off over time cause he's attacking the community for his faults.  I don't understand why he would be willing to shit on his own investment to hold some silly power position in a project that is open source and no one actually owns or gets paid, can't he just be happy being rich?  I do agree with you though we got to have a professional front to XBY. CCREV is just an average guy on the street big projects need someone with something a bit more inspiring than an average Joe.

Push CCREV to a quiet seat in the backroom role away from being a spokesperson or any youtube video or I worry some people might start talking forking agains and we are all fucked! We don't want this crap ruining the next big moves in XBY.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to find good altcoins that might x10-x100 returns in short-term? on: July 15, 2017, 04:23:38 PM
I'm getting sick of telling people about XtraBytes with all the innovation is will have.

In about 1-2 months the code will be released and it will explode.

I'll come back in 1-2 months to be smug.

See you then.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / WE ALL HAVE TO SAY NO TO UNCAPPED ICOs on: July 15, 2017, 08:49:22 AM
The problem with these open uncapped ICOs is there is little profit to be had for investors and huge over the top profits for developers.

Just like we normally look down and cry scam if a coin has a large premine we have to attack and call out developers for uncapped ICO offers. And threaten to boycott the shameless money grabbing of some projects.

I have no problem with developers making money but when they get the entire fucking market cap of a coin you got to say fuck them!

Imagine a POW coin saying a few years back we want a fucking 100% premine. That's basically what we have as a community accepted.

So let's as a community say NO TO UNCAPPED ICOs

Tezos could of for example made a cap at 50m. They make money, the quickest investors make money and everyone wins. And no fucking venture capital allocations!!!
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 15, 2017, 08:35:40 AM
How can we sell this token?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TEZOS raised 231 Million on: July 15, 2017, 02:20:33 AM
The sad thing is the time of the little guy making a lot of money in crypto is over. Big venture capital smelt money, the same people who wrote articles in Bloomberg saying Bitcoin is a ponzi and for crime now are throwing millions into these ICOs.

I think of a project wants credibility in the crypto world they have to find a different way to distribute now, maybe a mixture of ICO, mining, airdrops etc.

Otherwise accept we have been co-opted and now profits will go only to big banks.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop buying tokens and start buying blockchains. on: July 14, 2017, 06:23:54 PM
I agree moat ICOs are going to fail on the long run but it could be exactly the same for blockchains...
It doesn't matter if it's just a coin or a new infrastructure. What matters is the quality of the product and if people are willing to use it.

You are right to some extent there are some good token ICOs e.g What's Reggie Middleton is doing with Veristaseum but I haven't invested yet as I missed the ICO? I tend to make blanket statements in OP titles but I'm not dogmatic about it. I just think a majority of these tokens won't produce value while the newer platforms and blockchains are likely to be longer term winners.

What I'm saying is and why I mentioned XtraBytes is a platform which is a whole new blockchain and also serves as a platform for future tokens will be the big winners and will make up the top 20 projects in the coming years. Platforms like XtraBytes will have massive demand pit on them in exactly the same way ETH has with its ETH apps. That's why you need to looks for the platforms likeTezos like XtraBytes that will have many modular projects built on top of them. This multiplier effect will explode certain projects.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Stop buying tokens and start buying blockchains. on: July 14, 2017, 04:16:51 PM
ICO token offerings really should be worth a few million dollars at most. Start looking at platforms and genuinely new blockchain innovations like Xtrabytes. As time goes by these ICOs will be loss making. ICO eth token sales really are the new shitcoins. 99% will be worthless in a year.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins that are cheap but ICO quality? on: July 14, 2017, 09:19:00 AM
Being of ICO quality is confusing me, are you saying that because someone holds an ICO their coin/project is worth more and is more credible than someone that writes the code and creates the project from scratch themselves?

An ICO nowadays especially via ETH is too easy for someone to setup and there is too much greed, everybody that has a coin or project to launch now wants to do it by raising an insane amount of money without having to do anything,  I think it has become a FAD now and people are chasing a quick profit so are throwing money at any ICO.

There are some that are great and I have been part of some decent ones but only after really looking into the project and not just because it is an ICO.

That's my little rant over, not directed at you just in general.

Please don't ignore those projects that have been in existence steadily growing with dedicated devs working hard behind the scenes.

Don't over complicate it, I'm sure we are on the same page. I'm saying I want to know what projects are new and have a lot of potential that haven't had an ICO in the last few months. The hidden gems that didn't do an ICO so many people haven't hear people about them.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Future of trading - Token Sale 17th July 2017 on: July 14, 2017, 05:59:50 AM
THIS IS A SCAM

KNOWN SCAMMER OF GETGEMS

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905500.0

The GETGEMS playbook is take ICO money and give tokens that eventually end up obsolete. Then use the money to make a product they can make money from. Ask them for a video of software working!! Its just put together as a JPG but they are talking about their already created platofrm. ITS lies!!!
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins that are cheap but ICO quality? on: July 14, 2017, 05:19:48 AM
Tezos. I just don't know if the ICO is still going on. Same as IOTA. But it's already on the market. Bancor also. It's popular but i don't know about this ICO. Xtrabytes seems a good ICO too. I prefer them than Coval. But it's up to you what ICO you want to invest. Market is sleeping. So ICOs is worth to invest  than the market for now. Goodluck anyway.

I don't really mean ICO's like IOTA which have huge marketcaps. I mean projects that are just as innovative as the big ICO's but have small marketcaps. They are a bit hidden in these times of big ICOs.

Look at TEZOS, good project I don't hold anything against this kind of innovation but they just got 230m!!!!

Look at Xtrabytes they have a marketcap of 10M and they are more innovative than many of these ICOs but are hidden cause they werent a big money grab ICO. If they did an ICO now the tech of Xtrabytes would get them 100m probably. I want to find more of these hidden projects. You can't make much money from ICOs like TEZOS and possibly you could lose money so I'm looking for the undervalued innovative projects not ETH bullshit apps.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Coins that are cheap but ICO quality? on: July 14, 2017, 02:21:46 AM
Two projects I know are Coval and XtraBytes. Both are beyond most ICOs in terms of technology and innovation and potential but trade at cheap prices. Help me discover more like them?

No shitcoins..
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: July 02, 2017, 12:26:10 PM
I sometimes wish Xtrabytes was a.big money grab ICO so people.could see how big the tech is. People expect big things to only come out of ICOs these days.

uh, it basically was an ico. you bought a dead coin in return for a live one. the thing is they didn't really tell anyone that until after the fact. it's the ico phase now.

Look I have seen you post on XBY now for a couple of months. Personally I would say you are trying to FUD and have invested. BUT let's assume you didn't. Let me ask you as you know how this project started i.e. From a scam ICO which the developer and others invested in. So if you manage this coin how would you say it was distributed?

I mean the developers didn't get ANY ICO money just what he and others bought on the exchanges either as bitmox or as XtraBytes along with all of us. Bear in mind they could of bought the hell out of it on Yobit but it sat for a week at under 40 sats which is when I grabbed some and more people were dumping rather than buying honestly.

So should we say there was an ICO or that there wasn't an ICO? Because it looks to me like we are damned if we say there was an ICO and damned if we say there wasnt one. The truth is somewhere in between and is hard to get across in simple way without a big explaination. So what would you say when people ask if this was an ICO?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: June 30, 2017, 04:10:50 PM
Looks interesting. I'll need some time to examine the technicals, but the presentation is very well done guys. Can't find a roadmap though. Any plans on a bittrex listing?

The plan is to get on a bigger exchange once the core technology is complete. There is a roadmap floating around somewhere but simply its getting nodes online. Removing the old chain. Chords system and then an exchange...then moon. Haha
if gotten listed to another big exchange such trex or polo for sure the value will rise up but right now its all speculations and the project needs more
advertisement and more social information so investors will get some attention and read the plan.

We have to accept this project is in early stages. Until the tech is actually done and a whitepaper can be written we cant really judge the demand yet. Many still think its a scam or wont happen but once tech emerges expect a very different situation on the exchanges.

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry but ETH is not the future Xtrabytes is. on: June 30, 2017, 11:23:40 AM
Xtrabytes is 51% attack proof

So, why only 51%, why this weird number exactly?

Its become more of a real threat recently. I dont think 51% is so much the issue but more solving it shows how superior xtrabytes chain is to bitcoin and eth.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry but ETH is not the future Xtrabytes is. on: June 30, 2017, 07:49:46 AM
We can't build the future on flawed systems like Bitcoin and ETH. Bitcoin wasn't designed for it and ETH is a mess of a system backed by the banking systems we want to avoid in the future.

Xtrabytes is 51% attack proof, Infinitly scalable, No need for miners or staking. But big thing is its being built as an open source core that once realeased will allow modules to be built out from it. If you want to build the future you got to start with a strong base.

you do realize that all the things you said here, mostly about scaling and a lot more has been said a million times by a thousand different altcoins. each of them also lied about lots of things such as being used by big companies that makes you laugh when you hear it!

these are just empty claims until proven otherwise.

ethereum was claiming, and still is, to have no scaling issue. the flippening bullshit is still out there but we all saw as soon as it gained some traction the whole system crumbled.

show us real usage.
show us merchant adoption.
show us how your network will handle 10,000 transaction each 10 seconds
show us how your network will perform under 3 years of spam attack.
...

The difference is those were scams while this isn't. You cynical lot can't you believe in anything that's not got some big famous millionaire as the CEO of an ICO?

Those critisisms aren't fair for a project in early development stage. Every coin has to have an early stage including Bitcoin and ETH. Have a look at how XBY will create consensus without POW or staking. The concept is sound and very unique.

Can you at least admit IF it solves these issues it will be huge?
