No there isnt a demo. I dont think there will be a demo ready before the ICO. But it will help to convince some investors. UTRUST is a good project and I have high hopes for this. It would be much better for the UTRUST team to release ALPHA before ICO starts. That would be a very good point for the potential investors. It does not matter if it is released a day before ICO for as long as the investors can take a look at it. Perhaps they are planning to release it during ICO. Stay tuned! I seen in whitepaper:

I have ask that question before still waiting for an answer, i have to guess that the three leading currency will be in it but rest will b up to them, its a good project if they got the funds and really deliver what was written on the white paper.

Unconfirmed, but you can expect Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero and their like. We will start with 10 + URUST. Sure, just being popular is a guarantee.  Amazon still doesn't accept PayPal and that has been around when Vitalik Buterin was only 4 years old (probably busy learning Mandarin and C++). 🤣 Every day this thread grows by almost 10 pages! This means that the interest in the project is quite large. Let's see how successful ICO will be in the end. So far, the prospect seems good.

in fact there are many third parties who provide facilities to pay for an item using bitcoin. does utrust have the same facilities to buy goods but you can use whatever cryptocurrency you want , and the next problem is the merchants? is it all merchants will be ready to accept utrust?
With UTRUST's cool features not found in today's.payment platforms, I think partner merchants will adapt it definitely. We agree! But it's not only merchants. Think about it as both, a B2C and a C2C platform. If you owe your friend some money you can just go into the app and send him some. Even if you just have Ether or Monero and owe him U.S. Dollars and vice versa! |

Has the date for the start of ICO been finalized or not yet ? All I can see on website is still keep telling that in first week of October. It seems that the crowdfunding will run all its period because $49 millions hardcap is not little though it is achievable. let's see how it moves ahead once the ICO starts in few days.

I would have to refer this to the technical department, but generally and from an economic point of view this is definitely undecided and on-going discussion between people that think inflation is necessary and people that think deflation is good. I will not get into the arguments here, but a good starting point to see the different views is this article in which the author argues that inflation is necessary while the commenters strongly disagree. Personally, I think holding the tokens is not an issue since a lot of payments will be done through other currencies. Isn't it the case that the UTrust Tokens are not necessary for the fuctionality of the platform? The platform would also work when users only pay in other cryptos and hold their UTrust tokens. The Tokens are more a contribution stake and represent the value of the whole UTrust platform and can, as a bonus, be used to pay on the platform. That would be correct. However, and this is not officially confirmed or anything, I can imagine that UTRUST tokens will continue to develop use-cases, such as staking by merchants to provider more trust or similar. |

As a developer myself, I honestly cannot wait to try out the MVP/SDK once released! I recently tried implementing crypto payments into one of my personal projects and I had to settle for Stripe. Unfortunately, Stripe does never give you access to the Bitcoins and instead immediately converts them at an unknown rate into USD. Not cool, but the most convenient I'm afraid. I also looked into BitPay and others, but they all feel half-baked. All these things are a sign that project is doing great and it will be a success. Fudders gonna FUD though.

We definitely aim to disrupt the industry. That does not mean that other projects will not adapt. And this is the very reason why competition is good. If your business is threatened, you innovate (think Lufthansa to Eurowings/RyanAir (EU) or American Airlines > Jet Blue, for example). What is so confused to you.? Check out their website or their promo video. The system may be complicated but its not ambiguous. i am confused about the differing post in here. there are people who declare it as scam and others who say that its will be the thing. in promo there wont be written anything bad There is exactly 1 user in here that spreads fear and uncertainty and this one is a hardline supporter and investor of Monetha. Our community is actually pretty transparent and we're sharing all the information we have. I suggest you do your own research and if you have any questions, just ask! How will this strategic value coupling work? Each time a buyer pays with any cryptocurrency via UTRUST payment platform a percentage of the transactional fee is used to buyback UTRUST token and remove them from the market. Wow... Its great strategy! Some projects take away himself tokens for transaction. Here devs make a right solution. Burning this tokens will going to increace price. We sure hope so! |

Of course, I as the Community Manager believe we will be a strong success, but everybody should decide this for themselves and there are guarantees anywhere. Not here, not at Monetha. You correctly write everything. On the other hand, you have written in white paper that you are guaranteed to protect the parties from unfair transactions. To do this, act as a guarantor, and the funds pass through you. But this reduces the speed of payments. Over time, the rating of counterparties increases and the speed of payments increases. But where is the guarantee that the fraudster first earns a reputation, then to take advantage of this? Scammers can prepare for this for years. And I know such cases. Three years earn themselves an excellent reputation, and then in one day commit fraud for a huge amount. What can you oppose to this option? I will have to refer this to the technical team but am not sure there is anything we could do to prevent this. Of course, there will be KYC and AML for merchants so if they are still trying to scam after years, you could probably come after them legally. Dev. Do you have any news about the official crowsale release date because in my country they are very keen to invest in this ICO. I hope you will update soon because a lot of people in my country are interested in your project.
As other have already correctly mentioned, the ICO date will be announced in first week of October. Despite all the recent fud, it would be ideal if UTrust manages to have a prototype before or during the ICO in October.

You can use UTRUST as a fiat exchange if that is what you mean. The rate will be the market rate of several partner exchanges. please explain to me if you can, what is the effect to the investor if dev burn, freeze or disrtibute the remaining tokens.

When we burn tokens in circulation, the tokens you hold become more valuable. Simple as that! In every succesful ICO someone appears, who starting fuds. So dont wourth pay attention for this.

Yes, we raised $3.5m during our pre-ICO at a price of $0.03 (50 million tokens). - The public ICO will sell tokens at $0.052 (Early Supporter Reward) and $0.065 (normal price).
- Unsold tokens will be burnt forever, effectively decreasing the total supply!

From a personal perspective, I know that any ICO has risks. I invested into UTRUST after reading the Whitepaper and before I became part of their team, so I truly believe we got something here. Yes, of course there are risks involved. And yes, it is going to be a lot of work. But the team powering UTRUST is Subvisual with 15 engineers. This was good enough for me! I also like how much attention UTRUST pays to their community. I alone spend 1.5 - 2 hours every day on BitcoinTalk to answer as many questions as possible. We are also on Slack, Discord, Telegram and WeChat and really want to stay in touch with everybody. I actually posted in the Monetha thread earlier to clarify some things and the users there are very reasonable. It's just a selected few that hurt the entire community by spreading toxic messages. Alright! It's about time a company came out and just said: " hey Paypal, You're doing it wrong!" I've been saying it for years I just never backed my Paypal frustration with action. Unless you include 20+ hours on the phone with their "customer disservice" line. So UTRUST had me at no chargebacks. But of course, I will have to dig a bit deeper. Because a catchy line isn't enough to totally win me over. But it is enough to get me to download the whitepaper.
I hear you! While many users never have issues with PayPal, if you happen to actually need support, you're in for a fun ride! What exactly will tokens be used for on the utrust platform?
Imagine them as the very same thing as PayPal balance, with the difference of UTRUST tokens deflating instead of inflating like fiat. |

While going through your thread I have seen several pictures that have been modified to further your cause. By doing this you are not only hurting Monetha, but the entire blockchain community. In this example above the last line was added. Robin never said the one implying Monetha was a scam. We have been very outspoken (even in our recent live AMA on YouTube/Reddit) that we respect the Monetha team and admire their marketing skills, too. The entire space is still very young and there is plenty of time for Monetha, UTRUST and other projects to coexist. This is not a "winner takes it all" situation. We don't need to fight each other to further our causes and I'd like for the community to become less toxic, i.e. stop spreading FUD and instead support each other on our way up into an industry that, while currently still in its infancy, could be a multi trillion dollar one in the end. Relax everybody, if you truly believe in the project you invested it then you are likely to be on the right train 🚀 This will be the first and last time I drop in here, but if anybody has some questions I am happy to answer them in our thread. You can absolutely use UTRUST for trading, but the fee will be a little higher (1% vs 0.25% on Bittrex for example). You mean trading inside platform? In which way? Convert one cryptocurrency to other or to fiat? 1% - its fixed for all cryptocurrencies? You can convert any crypto into fiat and your fiat into any crypto we support. 1% on all crypto, yes. For example: If you pay $100 in Bitcoin to a merchant, your crypto is immediately converted to USD. If you should get a refund eg through the buyer protection, then you will receive a fiat credit of $100 and not your Bitcoin. You can however then choose to convert your refunded $100 into any of our supported cryptos. Hope this helps! |
