I think we are going to be stuck in holding patten for a while. There are some large holders of this coin. Is there a way to look at the rich list?
That's the thing, most of the KMDs are in the wallet earning interest. There is maybe about 1% of KMD out there being traded in exchanges. We have to think of a better way to gain wider acceptance and popularity , maybe get Andreas Antonopoulos to write a book about KMD. OR if anybody can write a book about KMD (mastering KMD) and publish it on Amazon . So far there are books about bitcoin , and ethereum. Just an Idea. What would publishing a book on KMD achieve? Good Question. By riding the waves of Bitcoin popularity using keyword such as " bitcoin" and "Cryptocurrency" on amazon ebook and utilizing title such as " Why KMD will be the next Bitcoin and better?" and publishing the ebook for free on amazon. The book will rise in sales rank. At least everybody on this community can use their amazon account to download the free book to help jump start the Amazon best seller rank on the book. (Also writing review and maybe even added it the Amazon wishlist). Just for info, currently the book "Mastering Bitcoin" rank 27512 on amazon best seller rank in books category, so that's really good. ( Considering books category has millions of titles). Also maybe using affiliate marketing. (if somebody bought KMD through the link, the referrer will get a few KMDs.) This is an old trick to launch product. But this is just a thought, of course. How about hassle free working wallets that would be a great point to Shrill about....getting very tied of reading how great Komodo is, when there is not even easy to use working wallet. Don't get me wrong I see plenty of potential..........But a long hard road to get there......James is off coding new features like trading bots while the majority of stake holders are still stuck at stage 1 asking how do I find my Balance...How can I move my coins....You SHRILLS do my head in Cheers Jon  You do have a point, I guess we just have to wait till the basics are taken care of before "Shrilling it out there". One word: EXPOSURE I think putting a KMD faucet on supernet page might increase the page rank of supernet website. Another way to increase exposure and wallet download. Currently supernet.org has Alexa Traffic rank of 1,005,696. But maybe now is not a good time to increase wallet download. Wait till a more stable version. |

I still can't send anything to the exchange from the iguana wallet yet, I have uninstalled and installed the wallet multiple times.
I am running windows 10 pro 64 bit.
Either in full mode or Basilik gives me the same result.
What I noticed when i tried to send in Basilik mode is that it hangs forever after pressing confirmation, but no transaction info ever shows up.
Will there be a another release of the wallet in the near future?

Komodo is not entitled to any SuperNET revenue, the REVS asset will get some though. There is no up to date picture about the revenue flows, but that is on 'to do' list. so does SuperNET get revenue from KOMODO? |

Everyone is busy buying instead of listing their buys and waiting for sellers. Look at the volume on Bittrex quite a few BitCoin moving in. There is a difference in how the price varies with time for coins with high inflation (like ZCASH) and low inflation (like KMD). For coins like ZCASH, when they are launched only a handful of coins are in circulation and everyone wants to get in, leading to an artificial spike in the price post release. However, with time, large number of coins are in circulation and price goes in a downward spiral untill it is pumped by whales. For coins like KMD with very low inflation rate (5% per year), everyone who wanted in had a chance to buy during the month long ICO. After the coin is launched the demand for the coin rises slowly and gradually as only the investors who were left out during ICO want to get in. However as time goes demand usually outgrows supply (since very little new coins are minted). and during this time price keeps steady or rise gradually untill a significant event (like acceptance by darknet markets, unexpected Polo listing etc) leads to an exponential growth in price. I agree and I would like to sincerely thanks a few dumpers that let me pick up 10k kmd for really cheap below 11k satoshis a piece. We definitely have a strong community that really support and want to see this coin grows. I think most of the dumpers are gone. Also I still have a few btc left to pick up cheap KMD just in case. |

For 2 days straight with the latest iguana wallet, I am not able to send KMD to Bittrex using basilisk mode.
I even confirmed and still no go.
Can't get it to fully sync in Full Mode even after leaving it for 8 hours on a 50mb connection.
I have not had a problem since version 0.1.1. If there is no network problem, it may be a problem in your installation. Well I can see everything working fine is basilisk mode, but the balance of KMD is the same. So sending KDM to exchange for some reason doesn't work for me. I will wait for a working wallet. Have you tried leaving 10 kmd in your wallet? |
