I think the server is overloaded. My wallet is loading and not showing my balance and it is running in basilisk mode.
I guess this is a good problem , because it means a lot of people are using the wallet.

At the end of year one. utxo A would have 53.75 and utxo B would have 51.25. utxo A will stop earning since utxo A is now one year old. And utxo B still have 6 month of earning left. that's how I understand this. You are incorrect. I think you overlooked that you cant spend part of a utxo. So when you spend utxoA, 100% of it is spent, part of it to the destination and the rest to change. The locktime for both is now reset. So in your example, in the middle of the year utxoA is spent, there will be a utxoB and utxoB2,each with a fresh year to earn interest thanks! now I understand it better. |

This actually makes sense, because 70% of the available BTCD has already been swapped for KMD and removed from the market.
Even if the demand for BTCD did not grow (and it certainly has, in anticipation of KMD debut), the supply of BTCD on the market has dropped by 70%. So basic supply and demand says that the price should rise and it is in major breakout mode right now. I may pick up a bit more myself.

The idea was to use blockchain technology (distribute ledger) as land registry. It is actually very good idea and there are others also investigating that.
