Last time I checked there was no operating pool. Has it been changed lately? Or any plans about it?
There is currently no working pool (as far as I know). But one of the community members is planning to set up one. Stay tuned, in the next weeks very probably there will be news about it. Well currently I can mine it with my CPU of my mining rig, it found about 3-4 blocks a day last week, but my notebook's CPU can find a bit more. Now it's ok to solomine, but if the hashrate ramps up a pool will be definietly needed. I will follow the thread from now on

you got to read the news more dude there is a fork starting on august 1 the majority allready voted the speculations are over it has been every where in the bitcoin news today but does not matter to me i accually hope this will increase the time to get this project going.but thanks for the new read over here it has been getting a little boreing on this site we needed some thing new to discuss
Yes, indeed you are right, there will be the Bitcoin Cash fork. If exscudo team decides to give that newly forked coins back to investors, that would truly be a generous act. But I don't think it will happen, part of the raised BTC might already be used/spent, we don't know that.

Even if there will be a fork at all, I don't think that anyone who invested with BTC could demand the additional coins originating from a fork. You already invested it and sent to them the fork would just be a coincidence.

Hi, a question here:
I started mining a few weeks back but I haven't been at home for a while now. And I see the network hashrate has increased lately. Last time I checked there was no operating pool. Has it been changed lately? Or any plans about it?

Thanks for the answers guys, was helpful VSL stayed on quite high prices cosidering these red trading days lately. Might go quite high when this bitcoin fear ends by august.

bittrex requires 3btc to list maybe we can donate
i can donate 0.1btc.
Hm, not a bad point. Crowdfunding might be an option. At the time of reading your post, some idea just came to me. What if miners will donate their hashrate? Some numbers: Right now we need to mine with ~115 GH/s for 1 month to reach 3 BTC. For example, we can give 3 options to make a donations: 1. Donate your hashrate (i will implement some handy solution for miners wiling to donate some amount of their hashrate) 2. Donate PASL (i.e. send it to 0-10 with payload "BITTREX") 3. Donate BTC If our community is ready for it, I will code some special place on the web (most probably on the main PascalLite web page) to tracking the crowdfunding progress. Any news about this plan? It would be nice if the miner comminity would finance a listing on an exchange. Might help growing in user numbers as well as market cap.

Thanks Trev, nice video as usual! I hope we get more sneak peeks in the coming weeks. And thanks for looking for cloud providers, although I will run my own node at home. Running a few already.

I'm sad... It seems I missed teh airdrop, I thought I would have time to finish my 10th post by the end of 21 July in UTC time... I've just noticed the detailed hours... Too bad this was a really busy week for me

@Noobquestions
First of all: do i have to trigger a batch right now to even start the mining process?
Triggering a batch is the mining process. You can trigger the production of ten batches.
What does people stop to make massive dumps every year when the maximum of their coins per batch is reached?
The batches do not reach maximum value after 1 year. They all take 10 years to be able to produce 5000 coins each, and the start reference time for all of those batches is when the contract was deployed. If you want maximum value, wait ten years from yesterday, and then deploy all your batches. Ideally, in ten years they'll be valuable enough that dumping them wouldn't be wise.
Batches have no memory of when the other batches were deployed. All a batch cares about is how long ago the contract was deployed.
If its strictly linear, i don't see why i would trigger a batch before it reaches 5000 coins.
You do earn something for not touching your batches, but you might need or want to use that currency. That's more of a life decision.
Earlier on in this thread, I mentioned that I believe getting a few coins circulating once this is trading on an exchange will be important. By deploying a few batches and getting coins circulating, the value of the uncirculated coins will likely go up.
I'm going to be writing up a document with numerical examples, graphs and probably tables detailing some scenarios of batch creation. I hope to have that document completed by early next week. I'll post it on the website and link it here when it's up.
Those examples and graphs are a really nice idea. It would help new users to understand everything easily. You should already consider posting that on steem later.

Anyone know how many participants for the first week? I meant participants complying with the requirements on the first page. I hope it will be more than 10000. If so that, we can go to the moon.
Dev say theres 160 users that are going to be paid and around 150 that registered but they didnt reach the 10 post before the 21. So, its going to be an small airdrop. It make no sense if only 160 users being paid. For the new project, we need more people being involved so they can contribute to the project. If they could not receive their coins, many of them will quit soon. Don't agree. If only 160 user being paid, they get much more onions and other people also want to get their onions. They will be more motivated, if they see, there are really free onions. Additionally it's quite early to say something like tis IMO, there are still 2 more days during what a lot of people might join, as well the post numbers can also increase.

Thanks for the link, i'm saving it Well, it's not too much. The amount you took ase an example equals to ~5000USD now, and it barely gives you profit. But of course there is still a long way to go for this project! What happens with the unpaid balace of small holders? Will they accumulate for each address separatley or they will be part of the next round's total profit?
|
|
|
Some kind of page or database on statistics about the profit of the rounds would be nice. Or is there one already, and only I'm the one who can't find it?
|

This is just taking too long. Still not launched yet right?
Nope, They claimed to launch testnet at the end of July, hope they can deliver it. Also it might be good that the EON coin skips theis bear period of the market

Best and most honest project ever. Why it wasn't me who started this? ... Too bad there is a lack of attention
|
|
|
Proof-of-LOL?... I don't like it, it's so yesterday. Proof-of-yolo is the future with its total decentralization and randomization protocol.
|
|
|
If EON will really worth 1$ by the year's end, I'm sure a lot of people will be happy on this forum Let's just wait.
