Im putting my hopes to the new wallet and a simplified process in buying pascal coins. Right now it's pretty much the most complicated coin to deal with due to the wallets design.
If someone who's working on the wallet reads this, less is more please! Two buttons, send and receive. The rest could be visible when enabling "Expert mode". And please some modern look instead of current windows 95 look.
Agree with you, now you need to buy bitcoins, log in to Poloniex, exchange yous bitcoins to Pascal coins, transfer from Poloniex to your local wallet. So tricky! What new walllet? I haven't been following the developemnts regarding PASC in the last few weeks/months. Whak kind of new fuctions will it have? BTW to have some coins in your wallet you have to go through the same complicated procedure, unless you want to buy into some big coin which can be traded directly against fiat |

I'm following POSW for a very long time now. And although they had some problems before, they are going to the right direction with capable new devs and a lot of useful fuctions being added to the coin's ecosystem. Can't wait to see how everything will unfold when change to the new tech happesn

I was thinking about the unsold EON coins. Not the ones distributed as a bonus among the investors, but the part that remained under Exscudo's control.
Do we know what is the intention of the devs with those? Selling them at a later point in time or what?

Csupán a napokbani mozgása a tübbiekhez képest érdekes, ha csökkenésben vannak, azt az ETH követi, ha emelkedésben, azt épp csak álmosan. Érezhető valami együttmozgás, de felfelé most inkább úgy mint egy paraolimpikon! Azt gyanitom, most egy locsordogálásba került, amiből egy kedvező hir tudja majd kirántani. A támasz épités szempontjából ez még jó lehet. Kérdezhetek az emlitett Casper-ről? Ez új nekem. Az ethereumnál a hosszú távú cél az, hogy a proof of work le legyen váltva proof of stake konszenzusra. Erre egy kicsit speciális megoldást találtak ki, ezt nevezték el Caspernak. Először az ETC fork volt ami visszavetette a bevezetést. Volt az úgynevezett Ice Age, amikor folyamatosan növelték a bányászás difficultyját (csökkentve a bányász rewardot), ez elvileg a Casper előszele lett volna, ezzel presszionálva a deveket a fejlesztésre. Ez a Byzantium update-ben el lett tolva ha jól emlékszem egy-másfél évvel. Talán a Constantinaple update-ben már benne lesz. It's good to see finally some action regarding this coin. I'm happy, that the launch will happen soon, but I thought that the on-chain betting and the dynamic odds balancing would happen sooner. But of course as it's a new tech for blockchain, it's need to be tested throughly.

Hát a topik nyitása óta eltelt több mint 6 év alatt sikerült az 52. oldalig eljutni. Ezzel nehéz lesz indokolni, hogy külön magyar szekciót szeretnénk... Mondjuk ha megnézzük, hogy 1 éve a 23. oldalon jártunk azért látszik, hogy gyursul a topik növekedési üteme. Any news about a new webpage? The current one is still the one made for the crowdfund... The only update there is the popup window informing about the tokens being unlocked.

According to the lead dev, currently 10-20 tps due to missing optimizations: So Byteball 10-20 tps at this moment is slower than Blockchain: Ethereum (20 tps), Bitcoin-Cach (50 TPS), Litecoin (50 TPS). I think this is the main reason why the Byteball is undervalued, because high TPS is the main declared advantage of byteball. What are you talking about? The slogan on byteball.org is ‘Smart payments made simple’, nothing about tps there. The devs concentrate their work to increase adoption with a wide range of features, no need to optimize tps yet. The potential is there because one of the things limiting throughput are blocks but other pieces must fall into place as well to achieve higher tps. I am talking about the name of this topic "BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments", where "new consensus algorithm" only means quick work (fast confirmation with deterministic finality and many TPS). Yes, I agree that "private untraceable payments" and other features are very important. Something like private untraceable payments has other coins (Monero/Dash/...), but if the Byteball will have more than 1000 tps, then it would be the only one outstanding decentralized coin with such speed. I think byteball's tps value is quite all right right now. It's technology is totally different from other cryptos with blockchain. It's relatively new (launch was less than a year ago). I'm sure it can be optimized if it will be a concern in the future... |

I was thinking a bit about the mainnet (when it launches), the block rewards are not really clear to me. The amount of EONs issued is 240 000 000. Is this the total possible amount or will there be an inflation through proof-of-stake? If this amount can't be surpassed, than the block generation will be a bit similar to XEM/NEM, won't it? when will the testnet be completed?

Yeah, the development is indeed slow but in my opinion in the world of smart contracts it is better to be slow but sure (and secure), making a mistake in a contract code is ain't good... At least we see the development, vSlots is in beta, and vBinary is being developed.

Is anything happening with this coin in the near future? As it is one of the few eth dual mineable cryptocoins, it has a great potential, but I haven't heard anything about PASL lately (I think I'm not the only one).
