1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: October 24, 2020, 06:34:07 AM
If the campaign manager starts escrowing the campaign rewards, then that would be a real game-changer. I mean we won't have to wait for months to get our rewards. I have participated in many bounty detective escrowed campaigns and, each time, they have sent the rewards without hiccups. The one they don't escrow can something create trouble lol
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com drastically changes staking requirements for their debit cards on: October 24, 2020, 06:17:53 AM
Any idea what will happen to those who already had MCO staked on the app for the card? Will they increase the requirement for them too? I staked some MCO for the royal indigo card but so haven't received because the cards are not yet available in my country.

Ethereum 2.0 Deposit Contract Release Kicked Back Until November

The Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract is a few weeks away at least, according to Ethereum Foundation researcher Danny Ryan.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which instant crypto exchange is the safest? on: October 23, 2020, 07:04:25 AM
Decentralized exchanges are good and safe when you are in hurry but, from my experience, they are not that good when the network is congested because transaction fee + approval tends to go really high during that time.

A plugin for the WordPress web publishing platform now enables users to timestamp content on the Ethereum blockchain. The plugin can help with copyright issues, proof of who created a piece of content, and to reassure readers it has not been altered.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 22, 2020, 06:43:21 AM
I won't say credibility but, the signature campaign does allow project owners to market their project more easily because a lot of people use the BTT forum and when we use the ICO's signature it gives them more exposure here in the forum.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best CPU mineable coin at present ? on: October 22, 2020, 06:21:23 AM
You said yours has a GTX something and, GTX usually associates with GPUs. If you have GPU on your laptop, then you can GPU mine but laptop's GPUs are not nearly as powerful as the normal one.
I don't think they are making CPU minable coins anymore but, you can try HDD one though.

ConsenSys developer Ben Edgington has published an update that predicts the ETH 2.0 beacon chain genesis will happen within the next six to eight weeks.

https://pro-blockchain.com/en/ethereum-2-0-deposit-contract-to-launch-this-week-consensys-dev

However, the PegaSys engineering group developer emphasized his prediction “is not an official statement.” Grin Grin Grin

They did the same official but not official thingy during Vitalik interview about the testnet release a couple of months back. Looks like guys at ethereum are not sure too about when they will release it. They are basically hiding behind those non-official statements.

Hope it will be launched in next month at last. Seems BTC going to hit its new ATH. And after this alts will follow to BTC too. It would be great time to release 2.0 and we will see new bullrun  Roll Eyes

There's still a 50-50 chance that they will launch 2.0 in November. It's better not to expect anything lol.

If BTC breaks its ATH and during that period, if they release 2.0 (any phase), then it will give ETH great momentum to break the $600 mark.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 21, 2020, 06:49:25 AM
My portfolio got reduced to almost nothing. My business was severely impacted by the coronavirus crisis because of that I had to kept selling my portfolio % to just keep up with monthly mortgage and all daily needs but, now I am rebuilding my bags slowly.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining suggestions on: October 21, 2020, 06:39:16 AM
I’ve been mining for about 3 months and thought I would ask people for some suggestions about how to use my miners. As of right now I’m mining with a s5 mining dgb in zergpool, a l3+ mining btb in zpool, 5 moonlanders2 mining einsteinium in zpool, 4 newpac crossmining ltc in zergpool, and 2 2pacs mining Verus in zergpool. Also have 2 more s5, 1 s7, 1 k9, and 1 k9 which I’m not mining wit yet because I’m living in an apt. Any suggestions on all these would be helpful.

Sorry to say but you won't be getting much from those hardwares. If you are mining for fun, then you can keep mining as is but, if you are mining to make some dough, then you will have to upgrade your setup.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: October 17, 2020, 06:09:41 AM
Are there scam tokens in UNISWAP?

Who saw before?

How do you describe them?

There are tons of scams projects on Uniswap sometimes you can easily spot them and, sometimes spotting them is a bit difficult that's why make sure that you are 100% sure that you are trading the correct contract otherwise, you could lose your money.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to start mining Ethereum Classic on: October 17, 2020, 05:54:01 AM
Since ETH's gas fee has dropped a bit, I am taking a small risk and starting to mine some ETCs (only with a small hash power). Hopefully, it will go smoothly and no more 51% attack on the chain.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 17, 2020, 05:44:58 AM
Nothing positive or good news seems to coming out of the Ethereum developer team at all. When will theyy realise it is better for them to take things slowly and release the testnet after ALL bugs have been ironed out instead of them playing roulette with investors?

Without testing, it will be impossible to say whether the codes has any bugs or not. This Zinken testnet which is coming on 12 OCT could help us figure out whether ETH 2.0 will be delayed or be on time.

So tomorrow their testnet will go live? Who will have accets to their testnet? And how many approx time they need for mainnet after testnet? I wish to see ETH 2.0 till end this year at last. This fees on Uniswap became crazy nowdays.
Has the test network been launched or not?

It seems to me that all the same, the Ethereum 2.0 system will not be launched so easily, they will still be postponed, I think.

Yes, the Zinken testnet is successfully launched. If I am correct, then I think they launched it on Oct 20 without any delays. You can check the article below to known more Smiley

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the cheater bounty participants began to act again on: October 16, 2020, 06:54:51 AM
What you say has become a bit of a common practice in the social media campaigns that's why you should always participate in a campaign that has reputed and non-lazy campaign managers otherwise the rewards will get distributed to fake users.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I get 200 gpus on: October 16, 2020, 06:46:10 AM
You will have a hard time finding rx580. The one option you can go for is to try any big distributors near you or on the internet sometimes they have some stock left to sell (be careful of the latter because they sometimes can scam you) but getting 200 cards seems a bit impossible to me.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 16, 2020, 06:33:14 AM
fuck it, ETH 3.0 next week.....they'll just skip right over 2.0

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Sadly bro but, only Justin can do that lol for now we are stuck with 2.0
In the long run, I don't think ETH will have much trouble with the gas fees because it will have some serious competition from Binance's smart chain, EGLD, etc.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum solo mining on: October 15, 2020, 06:30:26 AM
can any one tell me how to mine ethereum solo with GPU ? AMD GPU

what to download and how to configure it

I tried solo mining once and, trust me it was not profitable at all unless you have a huge mining rig. Even if you get lucky to find a block, most of the gains will be eaten up by electricity + maintenance bill.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best DEXs Liquidity Pools to invest your Crypto on: October 15, 2020, 06:16:49 AM
Uniswap is one of the best DEXs for LPer I agree but, other DEXs are pretty good too IMO (ROI wise). You can check https://pools.fyi/ to see which liquidity pools are currently giving the best ROI.

In the face of Ethereum’s recent rocketing transaction fees, its founder and chief scientist, Vitalik Buterin, called on users of the second-largest blockchain to move over to scaling solutions that are “already here for many classes of applications.”
