First of all throw away all TA you have seen and every good news idea you have been waiting for. Tho I have been in crypto for a little time I have realized that all that people base on to predict the bull market are mostly untrue (at least, for now).
Now the only reason that can pump Bitcoin on the market is that, people ridiculing and price watching even though they've not bought in can pump it. What happens is that, after every bubble people look out for the "subject of topic" to collapse. If it doesn't, they come and join like crazy and that's why Bitcoin skyrocketed in 2017.
So all we have to know is that should Bitcoin pull through this mess again, lol . .we're gonna moonrocket and that'll be because all those who thought we're done forever (Haters, Press, Analysts, Economists, those who cashed out, etc) will catalyse a never seen before FOMO.
So as for me, I'm not waiting for any Bakkt, ETF, Government regulations, Institutional Investors, Venture Capitalists, etc....I'm just waiting for 2019 to pass by and we'll see.
I really agree with you and we should expect another round of pumping market maybe towards the end of second quarter of this year. If bitcoin can really go through the current mess there is no way it is not going to skyrocket. And that also means now should be the right time for us to invest in other to take advantage of future pricing. |

You open this thread long time ago but it is showing the reality of today. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market are in bad shape today because of the ways we read the fake news from mainstream media. There are controlling traders' emotions through bad and fakes news about cryptocurrency market in other for some of the top short to be able to buy at a cheaper price and sell back again when the market appreciate.

Unfortunately, there is no such big movement with the ethereum price even if they announced that it will be moved to the last week of February 5 days before the January 16. I am also confused what is going.on with the market but there could be a chance that the big day for ethereum will happen once there will be a concrete date and time on when the hardfork will take place.
I really hope so as the the market has started moving backwards again. Since last weekend Ethereum has lost about $3 and it is still going down I believe that if we can have a date before the hardfork there is no way Ethereum will not make a big move and I expect it to go above $200. |

Does it really matter? Will a project die without a bounty? It is a big fat lie ,many projects/coins never mind releasing bounty program and the coins still exist with good followers and good price ,Sam goes to ICO ,do you believe that a project can survive without ICO? Yes ,many has done that and they are doing better than ICO ones ,even newer projects, influence of a bounty on a project doesn't mean it will be successful ,many has failed already
I think bounty is a promotion and other means of advertising and those projects may use those means to raise funds from crowd funding. The bounty has influenced of just a little. |

I believe and speculate that 2019 is going to be better than 2018 but we should not expect too much mericle this year as the year seems a correction year. Investors especially the institutions one are waiting for some powerful financial information before investing into the market.

People will sell off coins here at the end of the year to claim a big loss on their taxes. But we need more than that. We need bad news. We need negative press stories. We need security flaws to be "discovered", even if they don't really exist. And why do we need this? To get the prices down so I can buy in cheap to several coins, and then let them ride to BIG PROFITS on the next market cycle upswing! Gotta get that dolla dolla bill, yo!  I pray some of us has the kind of mind you have and not the current kind of complaining we are having when cryptocurrencies market goes down. Dumping is an opportunity to buy from the current holders and that makes bitcoin or coins to go around all of us. |

Becouse everything is green don't mean you should invest now. The most common laws of investing is buying when bitcoin or others trading assets is low and sell when there are very high. Whatever you do in the other way is too risky. |

Of a truth I did not expect bitcoin to go as high as it went this two days. The current bullish trend is really very impressive and it is a sign that cryptocurrencies market cannot die but remain with us. I read a speculations were some said bitcoin is not going to cross $4000 this year again but thank God it did.

I hope you buy then because bitcoin has rise of recent significantly. I think we are not going to have a wonderful market but if you buy when bitcoin was around $3200 you could have add around $1000 to you profits as the market has rise significantly.

Bitcoin may not even get to $4500 before end of this year again. Just yesterday it add around $500 that makes it easy for bitcoin to get to $3756. I believe that we should expect grow from next year and bitcoin may be going close to $12,000 or $13000.

I think we can still hold altcoins like ethereum, lisk, litecoin, zcash and dash the foregoing coins has done very well in the past and there are still doing very well today no matter what is happening. Some of this coins could have gone into extension if not for how strong there are.

I will still wait and enter the market at the right time as it seems that bitcoin may still be going down. Trading at this current time is very risky as the market keep going down and we don't know how low it can go at the moment as every thing are in the area of bear.
