I own shift and would like that to happen, but poloniex is not adding any coins right now and i doubt they will add shift anytime soon.

So i've seen a similar thread about some guy asking whether he could be a millionaire in 2 years if he put 30k in Monero(if he did he would make around 3m$ and it's not 2years yet).

So i am likely not going to put 50k$ in a coin, but it will be intresting to read this in 1-2 years.

So yep, the question is: Which coin do you think would make you a millionaire in 1-2 years if you put 50k$ into it today?


It's "only" x20, which is realistic imho. My pick would be LBRY, although the chances of that happening are slim!

DCT has dpos, which is much better than PoW that LBRY uses, and also because of that LBRY has high inflation rate. It's what i don't like.

In terms of Development, LBRY is 1-2 years ahead of Decent.

Yeah imho i didn't really look into shift and bought when it was 20cents. There actually isn't much info and i am sure most people that see about shift, just skip and forget about it, since there actually is not much info.

If they actually realase phantom and it works well, this could get huge, but we will see

Well had you bought when i posted my thread and when i speculated it will go x10, you would have x10 already.

However this all depends whether it actually gets adapted. I don't see their app as the killer, although there is a bit potential as they might invent to accept other cryptocoins, and in background convert to LBC. So it could be potentially an alternative to prevent torrenting. If people could watch movies for a reasonable price and conveniently, maybe they would have. I would. And LBRY app is convenient for something like this.

What's pretty cool is the LBRY protocol! There is still some time to go, but let's assume they make videos possible to be embedded into websites, as well as other items, and some open source code for such marketplace, then people will start creating their own websites and cutting the middleman.

What i don't like about it, is proof of work and high inflation. This would have been a winner, had it been pos.



This is for the long term, if they create open source code so anyone can create their own projects and display/sell content from LBRY protocol, then this is a big winner.

Short term, (assuming the bear market in crypto does not starts, if it does, everything goes kaboom most likely) the open beta launch is expected to be by the end of July so if the actual date is announced, price could grow rapidly until that date and i think it could reach 1,2$-2$, but who knows it's so unpredictable right now with bitcoin situation being unclear...

You had to sign up for beta(enter your email on site), i think if you sign up, you might get some rewards too, but when you will be invited (not sure how many though)

I got 100LBC when i signed up but that was 3 months ago. Fun fact though, this is worth like 60$ now LOL.

I agree, however if they announce exactly when the beta is released, the price usually rises by a lot (like it did +50% just for that live event), and on a event it's usually dump as you said

If it's as you said -> approximately 0.1 Shift per 10k Shift daily, then i'd get around 0.02 SHIFT daily, so 0.6SHIFT/month.. not that much xD
