881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 10, 2017, 08:16:53 AM
Out of all the ICO's I've heard of, this one gets me excited. Hopefully it'll be sold out in just a few hours or within the day.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best altcoin exchange? on: July 09, 2017, 09:37:18 AM
Currently I think Bittrex is the best altcoin exchange rate because I would've suggested Poloniex but they have been an issue recently on their withdrawal. So far Bittrex doesn't have that kind of issue though.

Just make sure to make good quality posts every time you post or comment here at bitcointalk, and you have to post everyday too. You'll be a hero member probably a year and some months after. I'm sure you have already read that your activities are updated every 2 week with 14 post count so that means 1 post per day are only counted no matter how many times you posted in a day or how much time you spend here in this forum.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Ethereum Wallet To Use? on: July 09, 2017, 06:00:53 AM
I also use Myetherwallet.com, it's easy to use and convenient for me too. Just make sure to save all the things needed to be saved on your notepad or sticky notes. It is safest to use too and you can actually store other tokens there too.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are good to invest now on: July 08, 2017, 04:34:13 PM
I agree with some of the suggestions here, bitcoin would be the best investment out of all the coins but since the OP mentioned some altcoins those choices of coins are also great for investments and trading especially now that the coins are all dumping hard. It is the best time to buy some altcoins. Just make sure to hold them and don't sell them yet when you see a little increase on the price. Set a target amount.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex support help with a NEM deposit! (ticket #273730) on: July 08, 2017, 03:33:37 PM
A lot of issue have been going on around regarding the Poloniex site, especially issues with withdrawing altcoins. I think its better to hold on to those coins for now and let them fix the issue, a friend of mine sent a lot of tickets to address his issue. He withdraw his Ethereum mid June and up until now he still haven't got the Eth coins transferred. This is getting bad reviews for Poloniex, I do hope it'll be fixed.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 08, 2017, 02:31:00 PM
I think so, it is not far fetched to see and think of a system where you scan a wallet through some hardware wallet (Even Trezor now has that, let alone the future) and you send the payment automatically for shopping in a market, This can happen easily even now with just a simple wallet generating software and hardware wallets.
Perhaps you are right, and the fact is that there are so many future hopes for Bitcoin. At least every user has his future plans for bitcoin. Crypto currency is becoming more and more popular today and I think that in this respect those people who use crypto currency are lucky.

That's true, bitcoin will be the new era of currency or will be known as the future coin. It does have a lot of potential and growth plus development too so it won't be that long when we could buy anything over the counter with bitcoin, I mean who knows what the future will bring.
888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why all the coins prices are dropping? on: July 07, 2017, 05:32:06 PM
What is happening in crypto world? Why all the coins prices are dropping?

Is there anything unexpected going on?

Nothing new. It was just the same this past weeks. No specific reason/s but rather profit taking. It's normal indeed. It's good to see those reds as we can have an opportunity again to accumulate our preferred coins.

Don't mind finding the exact reason. It will just stressed you. Give it a shot and risk some funds now as once they turned green again, for sure you will regret.

Yup! I couldn't agree with you more. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. And I'm sure some had taken advantage of the low prices and are just waiting for August 1st and see if it'll pump back. Anyways, good luck to those who bought the prices now. I'm not wasting my time going into one of each coins on why their prices are low now but most probably the reason might be because bitcoin is also low now. Just an opinion though.
889  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: July 07, 2017, 04:27:55 PM
hmm... wait for the price of bitcoin to increase and sell them later on i guess.. that's my noob advice though
I think if you want to double your money you can not just hold the bitcoin and then wait until the price goes up 2-fold. It may happen but wait a very long time. It is better to use altcoin trading methods. You can double your money with this method, faster than holding bitcoins

I agree and I was about to type the same thing. Currently the easiest way aside from holding on to your bitcoin for a couple of years would be altcoin trading. That's what I did to my money when I stopped gambling, I joined in the altcoin trading world and it did double up fast but currently the price is just steady but I'm holding on to some of the altcoins left though.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 07, 2017, 01:47:42 PM
Guys from 2 or 3 days to now it seems things are heating up...I was lurking on the populous slack channel and they're all talking about pillar and how to join the presale and token sale. Also a couple of new youtube videos recommending pillar and people asking questions in the comments sections...This is gaining steam!  Grin

That's great news if that is the case then. People and I'm sure some investors are looking or keeping an eye on this ICO. Hopefully it'll be sold out immediately though. We will try our very best to support the campaign and to spread the word through out this forum.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did I made a good investment? on: July 06, 2017, 05:45:35 PM
I have invested in the following cryptos: XRP, Bancor, Blackcoin, Agoras, Siacoin, DOGE, REDDCOIN, Bytecoin and ICO Tezos.

Did you guys think I invested in good things for long term?

That's a lot of coins to invest in for starters or for newbies. But I think all are good though, just make sure you've done you assignment and researched each of those coins before investing them. Trading is risky and there are a lot of scam coins going around, so better safe than sorry. Educate and learn also about trading, at least that's what I did though before doing altcoin trading.
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: July 06, 2017, 01:31:35 PM
The secret to being wealthy and successful would be to HODL and wait for a couple of years. You won't regret it if you just wait. A lot of people are trying to scare of people because of the SegWit2x but I don't think it is something to be scared of, just hold on to your altcoins and bitcoins and never sell them.
in this case most of us we shall have to agree, patience does really pay and there is nothing to be afraid of when we HODL and wait for a couple of years for bitcoin value to grow...maybe the only important thing we need to remember is the private key to our funds.

We already in the era of SegWit2x and what's left of us is to buy more bitcoins to hodl and wait for price to go to the moon

I agree also on this, and this era should be taken advantage of most of us especially traders. Buy while the price is at steady and low at this point and wait for it to go to the moon. Hold as much bitcoin as you can and make sure to use private keys of course so they are all safe.

Nope, there is no minimum amount of time to reach the maximum activity points. 1 post is counted per day no matter how many times you post or how much time you spent on bitcointalk and would reflect every 14 days.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2017, 09:38:32 AM
My plans with my bitcoin would be to save them for a couple more years, when I reach that target I was planning on venturing into some kind of business outside the cryptoworld but would still invest on bitcoins and probably leave something still for investment. And also some for altcoins with great potential in the future.
896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: July 05, 2017, 06:53:51 AM
So far I never experienced that kind of feeling when I tried trading, I was determined that when I start trading I would just hold the coins and go for long term instead of short term because as far as I've noticed I don't think now is the right time to do short term trading. I think it's a matter of self preservation and self control when it comes to that so you won't panic.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC be at $5,000? on: July 04, 2017, 04:12:47 PM
I believe before the end of 2018 the market value of Bitcoin will reach  $5,000 if not $7,000 despite the fact that there are speculations in some quarter that the outcome of 1st August meeting may likely affect the market value of Bitcoin negatively and invariably lead to the decline in the price of Bitcoin. Am still optimistic that even though the bitcoin price decreases as a result of panic, sooner or later the price will pick up again and probably reach  $4,000 before end December, 2017.

I agree with you on this, if not end of 2018 probably mid year of 2018 if bitcoins price this December would reach at least $4,000. Anyways this is just a speculation based on its market value currently.
898  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you burn your national flag for $100,000? on: July 04, 2017, 02:19:07 PM
Oh no, I wouldn't and couldn't do that. That only shows how you respect your country, the flag is a representation of your country. So if you would want to burn your country's flag that means you dislike your country for sure. No one in the right mind would want to do that even if its a Billion dollar worth. A persons trait can be bought.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: July 04, 2017, 01:14:33 PM
I think investing may be better than gambling because gambling definitely has a risk of losing from all you gamble on gambling.

Exactly, gambling is like you give someone an open chance to steal your money so investments are always best and profitable too. So invest in ICOs instead of wasting money in betting.

Gambling is made for enjoying your time and not to make a money from it. Many people understand this concept wrongly and they use gambling to make a quick money and end up losing money quickly. So don't ever go to gambling to make a money. If you want to make a money then find some good investments and wait for them to give you good returns over the time.

This is so true, I came from gambling and honestly speaking I had more losses than profits from it. That's why now I'm changing my ways and ventured into trading and investing my money on that for long term instead of losing most of it from gambling. I've learned my lesson well and that's why I'm also up for joining signature campaigns to gain more knowledge in the cryptoworld.
900  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 04, 2017, 12:09:23 PM
Yes I think bitcoin as a wedding gift would be a good idea to give someone close to you. Of course you wouldn't give someone something they didn't know about, so I would make sure the person I am giving this as a wedding gift would know about bitcoin so she would know how to use it.
