i'm mining with 1550 khash for 9 hours now and the site keeps saying i only mine with 457 KH/s the payout for the 9 hours was 0.44 LTC. If i use calculators i should get that every hour. What is going wrong? Ps i did a reset accepted share total for today = 3468 Its because you havent set your miners properly. Dont check only the Hash Rate, do yuo see this WU on the top right of your screen? WU stands for Work Utility, and your current one is 428.8 atm. Thus why your Khses is calculated around there. Try play with your settings abit, plus check your temperatures. I see 91 oC on one of your cards, it could seriously blow off! Try to decrease the Intensity to 12 and see what results you are getting! Also make sure you use latest drivers! Post any updates so we could help you further! your screenshot shows that roughly 3/4 of your shares are corrupted. example GPU0 has 126 shares accepted by the pool and 327 shares invalid due to hardware errors... I got such figures when I messed around with the thread-concurreny and intensity in cgminer. Make sure your HW: columns all read "0" Hi my system has currently about 1.4Gh/s but the WU seems very low at 19.5/m . Please help me to identify any other problem. Got 3x 7950 @ stock Are you trying to mine BTCs in a LTC pool..? ? Im connected to WeMineLTC? Doesnt that make me mine LTC's, have i missed something fundamental here? Your hashing power shows your not mining LTC and probably BTC. The entire WeMineLTC pool is barely 300 mh/s and yours is showing 1.4 gh/s. How can this be and what should i do to change this?

Hi, would it take to much serverpower to create live update of the workers Khash/s? Like every 5/10sec or so? Problem remains do that the page says my workers are offline...?

I was not payed one LTC for many hrs of work and several blocks were found.
I have the same feeling. My 500kh/s 7950 has been working for 48h and my Account Balance is 0.0497 LTC...

they've just gotten rather unlucky, have you guys read what pplns means? because it sounds like you expect straight pps
I think i understand the concept, but in the longterm should'nt my daily average be close to 1,8-1,9LTC even do its random distributed? Second, this is what it looks like under "My Workers", and it makes me worry that something wrong? I know that all the workers are up and running, getting blocks and all. they have to find blocks in order for it to work, which it looks like finally they are. Sometimes it will be hours overdue for a block, other times they get one within seconds of finding one. It should average out yes. Will this affect my performance? Can i tune the settings to find blocks faster? Or is this on the serverside?

Hi, im getting really bad results here, does it have anything to do with this "diff"? How can i optimize my results?

Hi, im mining at this pool now with my 3 workers, they have a combined power of about 900Mh/s, the last 12 hours i only earned 0.01075635 LTC ... that's low. According to a LTC calculator i should get about 1,8-1,9 LTC for that period? I hope to see better results. Will mine on this pool for a few days until my new hardware arrives. Cheers

alright, will do. have any recommendations for psu requirements? i'm getting conflicting advice from various corners of the web..
My 2 cents would be: *A known brand like Corsair, OCZ, Antec etc. *Calculate your total peak usage, and from this number chose a PSU that would have a 75% load for 100% system usage. Example, your system needs 750W at peak, then you go with a 1000W PSU. *80+ Silver / Gold / Platinum

Why not get a 6950 used if you can find it? 420 ish hash rate and it's cheap. Or 2x 7950 that will do 1.2+ Gh/s. @ 160watt pr. card.
If you dont pay for power, get the most hashrates you can. A 7950 will also be much more easy to sell again in the future, at a reasonable price point.
Greate idea just ordered a new system --> 4 x Radeon HD 7950 OC https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=169841.msg1765919#msg1765919

I would say go mine LiteCoins isntead, and with the LiteCoins you will make simple trade them for BitCoins on an exchanger like BTC-e.com now the bitcoin mining is dominated by ASICS so you will actually make more profit if you mine LTC and simply trade them for BTC If you looking for an LTC Pool, feel free to check www.WeMineLTC.comWe will be happty to have your power there!! Regards! This sounds great, i will investigate further as i am a total noob i would like more input on this choice from other users aswell. If it turns out i go for LiteCoins i will join the LTC Pool! My hardware should arrive in 3-4 days so i hope to be up n running before next weekend. Please provide me with a list of software and optimal settings for 7950 if you have it! Do i still need my bitcoin wallet or do i register for a LiteCoin wallet? thanks! Is this the right steps if i want to mine LTC in a pool? 1) Register at http://litecoin.org/2) Create a Wallet, store the key securly 3) Register at http://www.wemineltc.com/ for example 4) At wemineltc, under Account Details -> Payment Address, enter my key from the LiteCoin Wallet 5) Download cgminer 6) Configure with something like this "cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu.wemineltc.com:3333 -u workername -p workerpw -I 13 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 880-1000" Is this the way to go if i want to mine LTC?

Hi so i bought a new setup just to try minig, i know about ASIC's and all that, i got a good price for the HW so if it doesnt payoff to mine i can just sell it with minimal loss. Anyway, this is the hardware: - 4 x Radeon HD 7950 OC - 3 GB GDDR5 - PCI-Express 3.0
4 x PCIe PCI-E Express x16 Extender Riser 15cm 4 x ZALMAN ZM-F3 120X120MM OCZ ZS SERIES 1250 WATT POWER SUPPLY 80+ GOLD ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 990X AM3+ AMD SEMPRON 145 2.8GHZ 1MB SOCKET AM3 BOX CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 XMS3 VENGEANCE PC3-12800 INTEL 330 SERIES 2.5" 60GB SSD SATA/600
+ a big plastic box and some frames. (inspired by taco) What should i think about before i start to mine? Regards, spinx

do you think "CORSAIR CX 750W BRONZE ATX12V 2.3 PSU" will be enough for 4 graphics cards?
According to guru3d the 7790 has a "Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 90 Watts" http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/radeon_7790_review_benchmark,6.htmlNumbers from guru3d's review: System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 179W + 3 x 90W = 270W = 449W 449W = 60% utilization of 750W , so i guess thats allright with the 7790's?

That's 50$ more than MSRP.. Probably 7790 is too 'hot' now) The RSP for 7790 in Sweden is 199USD (1299SEK) so this price of 1295 is spot on. I dont know where u live, but in Sweden the RSP is always about +25% compaired to US. The cheapest price in Sweden atm is 186USD and i dont think it will drop that much in the near future. I found that there are 7850's selling for 200USD here, they consume abit more watt's but as thats not a concern for me, the benefit of 30-40% more calculating power might be a good investment?

Hi, im spinx from Sweden! I have known about bitmining for some time now but never really botherd. Then yesterday i notice an articel about the increasing value of bitcoins. That made me interested I have access to "free" power at my place so powerconsumption is not really an issue at this stage. First of i want to know the answer to the obvious question "is it really worth it"? What are the main issues here? I also configured an idea of a bitmining rig, looks like this so far, please give me input! * 4 x SAPPHIRE RADEON HD7790 1GB PCI-E DVI/HDMI/DP * GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-D3 AM3+ ATX * AMD SEMPRON 145 2.8GHZ 1MB SOCKET AM3 BOX * CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 XMS3 INTEL I3/I5/I7 1333MHZ * CORSAIR CX 750W BRONZE ATX12V 2.3 PSU * Build my own open air case Total price in Sweden : 7500SEK = 1150USD. Data from blockchained.com mining profitability calculator:- Bitcoin difficulty: 6695826
Generated coins per block: 25 Conversion rate: 127.54000 Hash rate: 4x295(found this number here in a thread) = 1180 MHash/s = 1.18 GHash/s Electricity rate: 0 USD/kWh Power consumption: about 5-600W Profitability Estimate- Time frame: 3 months
Cost of mining hardware: 1150 USD Decline per year: 0,63 default: 0.63 (from Moore's law: 0.5 every 18 months). Revenue per time frame: 974.78 USD Hardware break even: 109 days Net profit first time frame: -175.22 USD
This estimates to a profit of 2156.24 USD for the first year after the hardware has been paid off. Is this a good number? I also found 7850's for about 200USD/pcs, maybe 4 of them would be better? Cheers!
