If profitability is not your concern and just for a hobby or a test
You could start mining at a low or no cost and just use your existing PC's, CPU mining at the most
Best gear always depend on your requisites
you may require:
- lowpower cost with a decent hash
- Higher Hash and dont need a low electricity cost
- Low price gear with a decent hash over a certain coin algo
- High price Gear with a decent hash with a wide range of algo
- Higher hash, Low power cost, High pricing gear with risk of low or "0" resale value
basically, mining is not a want to buy candies in a store and choosing with a best taste from other people then buy
you have to consider your own environment and own taste which suitable and defines whats best for you
At the moment it isn't the peofit it is just the experience.
I just want to try mining but currently I only have a laptop so I am asking what specs is good for mining in PC ,
Because I also want to buy a PC and maybe use it into mining in the future so I could save some money right now if I buy a mining pc rather than just a regular one then after a month or two I would get interested in mining then I would have to build another one.
Before making an investment, I would suggest learning more about mining and profitability. I see a lot of people throwing themselves head first in this when they don't have enough knowledge about it and end up regretting it.
So, I would suggest mining with your CPU first rather than buying everything you need to start your first mining rig. Check this thread:

It is really helpful and thanks for the concern.
