521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: August 30, 2017, 03:29:03 AM
I am one of those who are earning enough with bitcoin even if I am not employed or doesn't have a job,
For me what I am earning through bitcoin is enough since I don't have a family to support right now and I am living independently ,
But I am still giving my parents or younger sibling some money to help them.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling place with a good faucet on: August 30, 2017, 02:07:08 AM
Can anyone recommend any gambling/betting place with a decent free btc, i.e. faucet? The faucet must be at least 1000 satoshis per 5-10 min
One month ago there were a lot of them, but with the rise of BTC value faucets dicrease its amount of free money - what a shame
I think there are no gambling sites that still gives 1,000 satoshi because of the price of Bitcoin that keeps on getting higher,
But if you want you could try your luck in freebitco.in I think you already heard of it.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buy etc ? on: August 27, 2017, 04:35:29 PM
Maybe they have faith in Ethereum classic and they think that it would be pump in a couple of months maybe year,
We don't really know what are their reason's but I think the main reason is they want to have a profit from it.
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Weekly Analysis: Will It Break $4500? on: August 27, 2017, 01:28:50 PM
I think it wouldn't break $4,500 for this week,
But who knows maybe something might come and change it maybe it could even surpass it.
525  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a way of avoiding to change money when travelling abroad on: August 26, 2017, 09:46:02 AM
If you travel abroad from time to time, you are probably used to change money: to do so, you have to find a change office and accept the rates they offer. Many of them also ask to pay a fixed-amount fee, they want more money than what they get from the fx rate.... If it is a touristic place, there may be a little competition from different change offices, at least, if they don't agree prices. But in general, as an individual, you have very little power, you can't hardly negotitate, only accept what they propose... On the other side, if you choose to withdraw money from an ATM with your credit card, you will be paying the FX rate your bank decides to apply to you, with potentially other fees...

However, if Bitcoin become an accepted currency in shops worlwide, we could avoid to change money to the local currency. We will still need to change from OUR currency to Bitcoin, but I feel that we have a much larger negotiting power on that:
- you can do it anytime from your home
- you may automatically buy Bitcoin with a given limit at interesting rates, intead of accepting the prices proposed by a few change offices in the area
- you may have already created a Bitcoin wallet and be used to it: you will automatically understand if a price in a shop is cheap or expensive because you are used to see prices in bitcoins, instead of having to translate into your currency...
- you may keep the remaining money in Bitcoins and still be able to use it when you are back home, etc...

Bitcoin would work as a parallel universal currency, a situation that already exists with USD in many countries, where it is used in parallel with the local currency.

But of course, prior to that, it will need to become widely accepted and have a more stable price

What do you think? Have you ever used bitcoin when travelling abroad?

Well never really tried to travel abroad but this is really a good idea,
We could really use bitcoin to buy their currency without fees with their local FIAT exchanger.
526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: August 26, 2017, 09:13:55 AM
Nobody wants to be monitoring the prices all day with the cursor on the sell button just waiting to click the mouse, so how do you decide when to sell?

If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.

What's your strategy?
Well for me there would only be two things I would set a price range and a date,
If it hit the price range then I would sell it and if the date comes what ever the price of my coin I would dump it.
527  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin and where it's headed on: August 26, 2017, 07:54:46 AM
when I first started paying attention to bitcoin, it was valued around $600. that wasn't that long ago, as I'm sure most of you are well aware. it has quadrupled in value since the first of the year. how much higher can it go? it seems to me, when something skyrockets in value very quickly, it can deflate just as quickly. does anyone actually predict bitcoins going above $10k? or will there be some sort of split?

just curious what you guys think..
I think when I started it was just around $300 to $400 ,
But the price right now is pretty high and I think it would continue to pump in the next couple of year .
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: August 26, 2017, 06:40:43 AM
Some people just participate in the bounties and wait for few years. they don't sell their bounty rewards for low fiat reward. Ironically those people become FIAT millionaires. Cheesy
Thx for bounties! Good jewelry.

Well that might be true I have known some people who are keeping their bounty reward and trading it when it pumps up ,
And to be honest I think most of them are millionaires I have seen them withdrawing a huge amount of money but I really think bounty rewards are where they started,
They are now also doing their own risk in investing in some alt-coin .
529  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: August 25, 2017, 11:46:39 PM
No I don't really think it could  overtake the regular currencies,
As long as the government wouldn't legalize it.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Taxi on: August 25, 2017, 10:45:33 PM
I think it would be great if you could pay your Taxi-drive with Bitcoin! U agree with me?
I think here in the Philippines we could use our local online wallet to pay for our taxi fare,
And also it gives discount for the first use but never really tried it .
531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price by December? on: August 25, 2017, 09:36:22 PM
I think the price of bitcoin by December would play around $6,000-$7,000 .
That's what I think but I hope that it would be higher than that but what I just hope that it wouldn't crash down below it's price right now when December comes.
532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is a whale? on: August 24, 2017, 01:32:03 PM
For my opinion a whale is a person who can manipulate the price in the market,
It could pump the value at the same time he/she could also drop it down.
That's what I think whenever I heard the word whale specially when it comes to crypto currency.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Help with a 1-month plan to recover some losses :D on: August 24, 2017, 09:08:05 AM
Invest in some ICO, can be x2-x5 if lucky.
Be careful in investing in some ICO most of the time you would only lose more money because it would easily be dump in the market specially the ones who are not from a good dev,
So I suggest you should review the Token or coin first before putting your money in it.
534  Economy / Speculation / Re: $100000 by 2024? on: August 24, 2017, 08:22:02 AM
Nah don't really think that bitcoin could worth that high in 2024,
It seems to good to be true, but who knows maybe it could after all no one know's what would happen in the future.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price point per BTC will it be too late for the average person on: August 23, 2017, 07:21:28 PM
I don't really think that there would be a time to be called too late to invest in bitcoin even if you're just an average person,
The reason is if you can't afford a whole bitcoin you could always buy Satoshi or its smallest amount .
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people left their full-time employment to go into Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2017, 06:41:44 AM
I didn't really leave my job for bitcoin but my contract ended and after that I didn't look for another job,
I just found it more profitable to earn in bitcoin rather than going to some local jobs and in earning bitcoin I am the one who holds my time.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker v Other casino games online on: August 23, 2017, 05:17:14 AM
We all know how much bitcoin users love dice but I think even poker websites ( bitcoin supporting sites ) also generate same or even more revenue than dice sites . Do you guys play only dice or only poker or both using bitcoins ?
Well I play both of them I enjoy playing dice at the same time I also enjoy having a player vs player game like poker,
I think poker is one of the famous card game when it comes to gambling and I really love to play it , predicting on what your opponent's cards would be.
538  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WARNING COINBASE BLOCKS ALL ACCOUNTS which send or receive to or from casinos? on: August 21, 2017, 06:10:25 PM
Ages ago Coinbase started blocking accounts which have had gambling transactions. I need to know if this still happens.

For everyone looking for alternatives, they are the only company that I know of which has problems with casino transactions. Any other company will work perfectly.

Please list alternatives if you know them. I will list them here.

Some alternatives:
  • Cubits: VISA, MasterCard, SEPA, Wire Transfer, Sofort, Dotpay, Rapid
  • Kraken: SEPA, Wire Transfer
  • Xapo Asks for identity verification
I heard of it and also our local wallet also does it when you are receiving some money from a gambling sites or having a gambling transaction they would shut down your account,
So every time that I am going to gamble I would use xapo to send and receive my money from the gambling sites,I know some few people who got their wallet closed because of this and lost their money.

540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin marching to $5000, any hope to altcoins? on: August 13, 2017, 08:29:08 PM
I noticed that while Bitcoin is go up with $3200,3300,3400 and 3500: altcoins are dumping? So if Bitcoin will reached 4000 my altcoins will dump more??

So what will happend to my previous altcoin bags from DCR at 15sats, STEEM at .008 , SC at 600sats.. All of them are -50% down. All of them are bought during Bitcoin correction last May-June 2017

Is there any hope from my bags? Should I sell all my altcoins to Bitcoin?

I appreciate any advice. Thank you
I think that alts still have a future let's just wait till the alts pump up,
But for now lets enjoy the bitcoin price pumping high to the sky and hope that the alts would be pump too.
