You posted your Gox coupon on the forums publicly which allowed another party to redeem it so I'm not sure why you are saying we are at fault and swearing at me.  Yes, your issue is still open.  Yes, I am still trying to help you fix this.

That's a bit disingenuous as BitInstant told us directly in the email that a coupon code was NOT needed. The email then went further to label the Mt. Gox coupon code as 'API Response'. And furthermore, back on April 3rd when this happened you yourself, an employee of BitInstant, did not realize the API Response was a Mt. Gox code. So excuse me if I do not view this situation as my fault.

Also, I never sweared at you (in this post at least, can't speak for every correspondence I've ever had...).  I believe I have remained incredibly courteous and patient considering BitInstant's faulty processes has caused me to miss an opportunity to potentially make thousands of dollars; 21+ days ago and the issue is still pending.

I am not aware of this situation when I did not understand the Gox coupons.  However, I would agree that it could be confusing to customers and we should be explaining the process better.  I apologize for any confusion.

We are working on improving our support and I am working with other cs reps on resolving your issue.  I did not realize that f**k and s**t are not swear words.  Thanks for your feedback.

What I am referring to is an instance (I think a few) where someone posted their full info, including Mt. Gox code, and you merely asked them to check their email if they got a Mt. Gox coupon code, even though they clearly did as indicated by their post; I took that type of response to indicate you too didn't realize it was a coupon code either, and who could blame you really.

Either way, I'm looking forward to a resolution, and thank you for working on this.

I know exactly what you are referring to.  At that time we were dealing with a very large support back log and it was very easy to overlook info that customers had provided as we were working very fast to clean up everything.

I'm hoping to fix some of these Gox coupon issues myself today.  Smiley

Understandable. Hopefully I am one of those Gox coupons issues you refer to, I imagine I must be as there can't be many in Queue before me (April 3rd), can there?

I am not aware of this situation when I did not understand the Gox coupons.  However, I would agree that it could be confusing to customers and we should be explaining the process better.  I apologize for any confusion.

Apparently input my email incorrectly because I never received a receipt for the order by email (so I don't have the order #).

My order was in Sunday, funds sent Monday afternoon. I've submitted a support ticket (no response) and a support email (no response). For my full personal info, you can look at those requests, not gonna post it here, but I don't have an order #. Email is isaiah.everin@gmail.com.

MtGox gave me a number separate from my account number for your service, a number that's always worked before, but this time your service asked for it to start with M and end in X. Wasn't sure why, so I just appended that to the number I had. Apparently you needed this number: M70139749X, and I gave M139749X.

My ZipZap Info: Amount to Pay: $159.95, Account Number: 931322408

[edit] Oh, everyone is getting screwed out of their money lately. You guys should just halt operations if you have this many people's money sitting in limbo without any hope for retrieval since you have no actual support staff.

Thanks for your inquiry.  We logged new support issues everyday just as most tech companies do.  We also solve these problems on a daily basis.  It takes time to resolve issues when the customer has made an error on their order.

Have you logged your issue thru our main support channel?  bitinstant.com/contact

You can find your order ID and/or quote ID by going back in your browser history when you placed your order.

Browser history is on my phone, I don't have access to it -- does it matter? I gave enough information to access my order if you have a database of them.

Does this thread resolve any issues like the above? Do you have any idea how long this will take? It is a really simple issue to correct (2 numbers missing from an order in a database), and according to the posts in this thread, people are waiting over a week to see their money.

I need this money, I didn't think I was using a service that would hold my money for this long without a response (and probably won't be using the service again). If there's nothing you can actually do to help these issues, I don't know why Mt. Gox pointed me here.

You can see in just 1 page of posts that your support staff under bitinstant.com/contact don't respond to support tickets in a timely manner considering the volume of money they're moving. I've never seen a reputable site that is dealing with this volume of money take more than a day to fix an issue.

We did not make any error in your order which caused delay.  All issues take some time to resolve.  This is a thread for customer issues so that is why you see so many of them.  If you have submitted your issue to our main support channel then it is in queue and it will be fixed shortly.  Thanks for your patience.

My order was messed up not due to an error of my own and I have been waiting 14+ days now.

Okay, I will patiently wait. Just to confirm, my Mt. Gox account is under the andrewb12345678@gmail.com email address not the one on your list, I assume that doesn't matter for this purpose as you have my account number, but just want to make sure that won't cause any issues.

Also can you edit my other email address out of your last post if you get a chance, rather it not be public if possible.

what part of the mtgox coupon do I enter? The whole thing including the 'mtgox-usd-' part? Or jsut the numbers? Making sure it's not an error on my part.

Go to 'add funds' then 'redeem mt. gox code' and yes the whole mtgox-usd-everything; believe so at least.
