There are enough scams out there to ensure your way to be a millionaire will be very troublesome. On the other hand, you could get lucky.

I barely heard of Litecoin though i know it is one of the elite altcoins on the crypto world. In contrast, ETH is always in the radar where ICOs use them as their platform of their ERC-20 compliant tokens. With that, I think ETH will have dominance over Litecoin in terms of longevity.
ERC20 tokens are in these days and every now and then a new token is created and ICO is started. Regardless of it is a success or not, ETH has much more value as compare to LTC and i dont see the same development which i see in ETH. I would recommend ETH for sure. Litecoin will never ever get the development ethereum gets and has gotten. Litecoin should have done more in the past but was always too lazy.

To be fair newbies could have lost 20-40% on ethereum last months lol. With the btc price etc, the swings can be pretty wild. Just holding btc would have been the best in hindsight.

I always thought coinmarketcap was impartial, but this is pretty unfair if you ask me. Maybe coinmarketcap doesn't want btx in the top 25? And they have interests elsewhere that they are trying to protect..

My feeling is that since bitcoin has gone has risen to current price levels, people are looking for other options as well.

I keep seeing this kind of topic everytime bitcoin rally starts. Altcoins are doing great, they were all pumped over months nearly all summer. Just a bit of correction was necessary. Now there will healthier prices.
It's the same thing over and over again. 2018 will be a great year for altcoins, with the interest and price gain for btc there will be more interest in altcoins as well.

Now we need a new exchange and some marketing and promotion, and smartbillions can fly.

I voted "Yes", I think bounty managers might give this option. Anyway ICOs spend a lot for marketing and paid ads, so why not to pay for bounty participants with ETH? Hasmukh_rawal gave a good example of LIVETREE (I'm also taking part in this bounty, but of course not because of 50/50 option and even not because of generous and nice bounty campaign, but because of interesting project).
For most projects it's probably easier and cheaper to pay out in their own tokens.

Hi there,
Why is that Bitcoin Gold (BTG) wallet is suspended on Binance ? Does that mean we cannot transfer BTG to Binance and trade it for BTC ?
Please advice!
Thank you
vnck25
PS : Also if you guys can give some leads on where to get BTG for free, like some legit faucet that would be much appreciated!
You can send funds to it but it won't be available to you until they start the wallet again, you won't be able to trade it no.

They are trading with everyone's bitcoin gold already, they are getting rich on everyone's bitcore soon as well, it's a very lucrative business to be in it seems.

He is talking about ico's, where there is no "real" demand before they set a price and start selling.
|

Regulation should be seen positively, do not fear regulation but embrace it.
With clear rules regulation will legitimize the space which in turn will make things better for both ICO makers and contributors.
With regulation comes decentralization. In the case of ico regulation I agree with it, but in the case of btc I'd like it to stay as decentralized as possible.

I don't see the stakes for "MIRA avatar + MIRA personal text" added

China and the European Union have recently applied to Russia to crypto-currency on its territory. For this, Russia could have received about three billion rubles as a tax. Perhaps, within the framework of this project, such a free economic zone is created for the crypto-currency mining. In any case, for crypto currency is good news. Maybe, at least to prohibit its circulation after this will not.
Very good news, it just goes to show that crypto is here to stay and will only keep growing.

You can buy ethereum on blockchain.info. It's pretty easy, especially if you already use a bitcoin wallet on there.
|
|
|
It has to do with everything you have mentioned and more. Hype and good news can be a good catalyst for astronomical rise of any altcoin including any token. But fundamentally speaking, development is what will sustain value regardless of any other factor contributing to rise in price of any altcoin or token.
Indeed, and don't forget about coins that are never meant to take off, they are only meant for filling the dev's pockets.

And just like that a whole lot of money that went into bitcoin cash in the past days went right back to bitcoin.

Finally, this is what everyone has been saying or thinking all along. Well.. not everyone..unfortunately.

There shouldn't be any difference in making a transaction through the myetherwallet or any other wallet. It’s one of the most popular wallets for ether and most tokens, created by ico’s. So yes, it’s a good wallet and is used by a lot of people It's secure so far and my friend say it's very useful with their user interface. It has been used very widely since 2016 and lots of peple are getting their first ETH wallet from this website, MEW. But sometimes, when you contribute an ICO, it makes problem in the tx transfers.

Waves token like others have mentioned or an erc20 token on the ethereum network would be the best choices for you.
