341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: October 26, 2017, 10:45:38 PM
The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?

what do you mean to lose money? sometimes there are moments below and there are moments above my friend. use your money wisely, if you sell your coin when it goes down then you will lose your money. hold it and wait for it when you sell it.

Everybody who has been around long enough knows you need strong hands to make it to the big leagues :p
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Etherdelta strange trades! Please try to help me solving this mistery on: October 26, 2017, 10:41:45 PM
I think there's a lot of manipulation going on by devs of airdrop tokens, once they sell a bunch of their own tokens they can easily pump.
Or maybe a whole lot of people that don't understand how etherdelta works?  Grin
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are some of the best safety practices for airdrops? on: October 26, 2017, 10:30:32 PM
I wouldn't use an important personal email address.
Make sure to not paste your private key instead of your address.
Don't download sketchy looking wallets or click on "mew" links through emails you get from said projects.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH fork today - consequences? on: October 26, 2017, 10:20:26 PM
Exactly. Many people just tell you to invest in something because they are holding it themselves,
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion about Ethereum, ICOs and the future on: October 26, 2017, 10:14:53 PM
I'm not really into ethereum but think the smartcontracts were a great idea. I think eth won't be rising for a while, especially when btc is making it's run.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO REPLACE THE STOCK MARKET? on: October 24, 2017, 08:46:27 PM
No how would this even be possible?
Should all companies convert their stocks into crypto or something?
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Desktop Wallet on: October 24, 2017, 08:39:01 PM
I always had sync problems with the (myst it was I think) desktop wallet. Been using myetherwallet ever since.

SmartBillions lottery improvements list — 24.10.

Dear SmartBillions community!

We are happy to share the news that the daily number of SmartBillions lottery tickets played has grown to 1,288 tickets (record set 20.10).
We’d also like to congratulate the first 4-hit WINNER! The highest payout of 4 ETH (500x bet value) was scooped up by the lucky winner on 22.10.

Here are the latest SmartBillions lottery interface improvements:

The SmartBillions web wallet has been introduced. Players are now able to create a new wallet or use their existing wallets to purchase lottery tickets using the SmartBillions web wallet interface. The SmartBillions web wallet makes it easier to play the lottery, with its user-friendly layout. Players are now able to purchase lottery tickets with just one click, without having to go through the complicated procedures required by the Metamask wallet system.

Players will also be able to use their web wallet on their mobile devices. Purchasing SmartBillions lottery tickets on mobile devices has never been simpler, and we expect dynamic growth in ticket sales revenue in the coming days.

How to use your SmartBillions web wallet:

1. Go to “Wallet” at the bottom of the “Play” site.
2. Select how you want to access your SmartBillions web wallet.
3. If you want to create a new wallet please select “Create new wallet”
a. Please enter your password — you will use this password to access the SmartBillions web wallet on the “Play” site.
b. Congratulations! You’ve created your SmartBillions web wallet.
c. Please export your mnemonic phrase and save it. This is your address recovery phrase and you will be able to use it to access your wallet as well.
d. To purchase lottery tickets, please send the desired value in ETH to your account address.
4. If you’ve already created or imported a wallet to the SmartBillions web wallet app, please select unlock wallet and enter your password.
5. To import your wallet please enter your wallet’s individual mnemonic phrase.

After the beta testing phase of the SmartBillions web wallet, a multiple bet functionality will be implemented.

Great, nice update rumipl.
Can't wait to see this grow more and more, whether it'll be in or outside of the ico phase, I can only see this project move up.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Gold Fork Wallet on: October 22, 2017, 05:36:58 PM
Can anyone tell me why people are going crazy for this premined bitcoin gold stuff?
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't crypto going mainstream? on: October 20, 2017, 11:05:34 PM
At this point in time I think it's too technical, and as of recently there is a pretty high entry price.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: October 20, 2017, 11:01:45 PM
I am new at this.  Is EDogeCoin related to or associated with DogeCoin in any way?  Just curious.

Thanks

I have never heard of it. And it's definitely not related to doge. I'm guessing this is one of those free airdrop tokens?
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on SUMOKOIN EVX TKR TZC, BIS BLAS ELIX NEBLI ENGIMA LRC VEN ICON NEBL on: October 17, 2017, 08:51:26 PM
SUMOKOIN had a new logo, new website and updated roadmap on last week.
i started mining some sumo(modest rig not much reward), and the wallet is pretty easy going considering its using monero tech.

do you recommend invest some $ in this project beside mining??? it looks good to me considering the price of other pricacy projects like pivx or komodo... what do you mean saying inflation is very high with just one million out of 80  out (max is 10M according to coinmarjetcap?)?

Why would you want to invest in some project which has a huge premine waiting to be dumped in the future?
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 17, 2017, 08:48:09 PM
Don't forget to register your BTX wallet until 30 October 2017 to further receive your weekly Bitcore airdrops: https://bitcore.cc/

They will also be a special airdrop for BTX hodlers on 30 October 2017. Every wallet with 10 BTX or more will receive an special one time airdrop of 25% instead of 3%.

Quickly read through the thread, bitcore looks so much better than bitcoin gold honestly, seems quite big already.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia starting ‘CryptoRuble’ !!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: October 17, 2017, 08:26:54 PM
In Russia, the Crypto-currency is not developed. And I do not think that this idea will be realized. It seems to me that these are just rumors. For me, the national currency is a very bad idea. Crypto currency should be decentralized

Cryptocurrency (virtual desentralisation) regulations project was announced in some telegram chats today. Project authors Ernest Bachurin, Ekaterina Kotova, Andrei Voronkov. Don't understand is it serious or not.

As you put it "virtual decentralisation".
What is decentralised about a government issuing some crypto on some centralised blockchain.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: why myetherwallet security not strong on: October 16, 2017, 01:25:36 PM
I've been seeing to many MEW users are being hacked. May I ask what you usual activity why some are getting hacked? Because for me the security is good.

* I make sure that when I join campaign, public key is what I give not my private key
* I don't click scambots from slacks or any links that will require to access my MEW account
* I make sure my PC and Smartphone are the only devices I use to access my MEW

Are these measures can still be hacked? I mean, anything that will add more to secure my MEW? There are lot of options to open MEW but for now, only private key is what I use.

Maybe you are already doing this, but bookmark MEW. So you can be sure you have followed the correct url.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold will be another Bitcoin Cash? on: October 16, 2017, 01:21:08 PM
Bitcoin gold is implementing a 16000 (if I remember correctly) block premine.
Now they are trying to get other people on board to buy their coins in the future.

Stay away.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: why myetherwallet security not strong on: October 16, 2017, 01:15:13 PM
It's your own responsibility to not click links or get your computer infected.
MEW is fine as long as you use it wisely.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 ETH or 1 BTC? on: October 12, 2017, 03:51:15 PM
It's hard to say with all the forks happening, bitcoin fork, eth fork.
I actually think both could be great investments.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why you should be very careful before using HitBtc exchange on: October 12, 2017, 03:38:57 PM

I have been waiting over 5 days without any solutions from HitBtc, and I lost a lot of coin value which is over 5-6 bitcoins already due to price drop.

5-6 bitcoins worth is about $25,000, and you probably triggered the limit they allow for daily withdrawals.

I never understand why people try to withdraw large chunks like that. You are better off trying to withdraw about $2000 daily and getting all your money out that way.

While this might be the smartest thing to do. You should just be able to get your own money out.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EBTC dead ? on: October 12, 2017, 03:34:09 PM
To me it never looked good to begin with, but this is pretty fast.
Maybe he made enough after the pump?
