161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INDIAN FUD is FAKE - There was no reason to panic on: February 01, 2018, 06:33:22 PM
Yes it was fake, but it happens every week and every time it's followed by a price movement. When will people get it?
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: minemeaflat.com - has it really achievable goal? on: January 30, 2018, 10:34:43 PM
Hi, I created page (minemeaflat.com) with integrated coinhive miner. The site has only one goal which is to mine enough money to buy a flat (maybe more goals ... I want publish some statistics when I will have some data).

Do you think that my idea is achievable? Is there someone with integrated miner in its site? Do you have some stats or numbers about your mining?

I tried to count:

Assume that average computer is able to count 20 hashes per second.
Current payout 0.00004240 XMR per 1M hashes.
Today is 1 XMR = 274 USD (1 USD = 0.003650 XMR).

That means for 1 USD:
Hashes = 0.003650/0.00004240=86.084M

Assume that avg time of mining is 5 minutes (300s).

That is 86.084M/(20*300)=14347 visits.

That means for 250 000 USD is 14347*250000 = 3 586 750 000 visits with 5 minutes mining.

That is enough ... if the time will be 60 minutes the number of visits is 298 895 833 visits ... and so on...

Is it really achievable goal as I think or not? I was inspired by other similar (and now historical) internet "useless" projects like milliondollarhomepage.com.

Thanks for your comments.

Fun idea but I don't think it's achievable. Unless you somehow get loads of traffic + crazy coin prices in the future.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when is a good time to get out ? on: January 30, 2018, 10:32:02 PM
If you're a trader I would get out at a 15-20+%, if you're a daytrader I would happily take at least a few percentages every day. But if you're a believer do you really need to worry about when to get out?
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple comes to 2 dollar by end of Feb 2018 on: January 30, 2018, 10:29:33 PM
Ripple was above 3$ , so I think it will be over 2$.
Let's hope it will happen before Feb ends.

That doesn't mean anything though, bitcoin was a lot higher at that time and a pump is a pump, in other words it just had to go down.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop-generosity or lure?!&! on: January 30, 2018, 10:27:52 PM
Hello,
I would discuss the topic. What do you know about Airdrop? Why do u think ICOs provide us with the airdrops? Do they just want to attract more people? Rise the vaue of their currencies pretending that people buy their cryptos or just share some of their currenies to reward the community?
Btw, I know another reasonable factor of providing airdrops.

There is a company KickCity. They issue their own currency based on Ethereum Network, but at the same time they use referral links program to spread their currency for free as well. So they both attract people and reward them for participating. KickCity - it is marketing company that is known for Decentralized Event Management & Marketing Protocol on Blockchain.
U can find more information on their website https://ico.kickcity.io
                                      and telegram chat https://t.me/kickcity_chat

I believe it is really good to provide airdrops because it contributes towards both companies and community. Many companies use good thing and I believe that it is good until they are scammers.

What i your opinion on this topic? I am interested in hearing any ideas so feel free to say whatever.

Airdrops sound good, but it has become obvious that there are many coins out there who are just trying to lure people in.
Like those coins with a 50000000000 supply handing out 10 coins per user.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: all the crypto currencies are in the red !!!!! on: January 30, 2018, 10:25:45 PM
Sometimes there are no reasonable explanations, in the end it's all supply and demand.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO (TON) on: January 27, 2018, 09:49:08 PM
The expectation of the telegram's crypto money project is too high. most likely Telegram Open Network sales will take 5 minutes. we need to act fast

Didn't the owner of telegram already tweet there wasn't going to be any ico whatsoever?
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alex fortin : Bitcoin $5000 prediction in 2018 on: January 27, 2018, 09:02:40 PM
I don't believe statements from someone who makes videos about coins should be taken that serious.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 South Korea introduces new tax on cryptocurrency exchanges on: January 27, 2018, 08:23:50 PM

South Korea’s government has reportedly imposed a tax on the domestic Cryptocurrency exchanges.

To be specific, they will be subject to a 24.2% tax (22% coporate and 2.2% local income taxes). According to Yonhap News Agency, the government is also requiring exchanges to share the transaction data with banks.

Tom Lee, a strategy analyst, reckoned there would be a dramatic drop in Bitcoin price down to $8,000-9,000, followed by a sharp increase to above $20,000 by the end of 2018.

This year is anticipated to be a rough, yet successful year to wise investors in this market.

RothscoinTeam.
If every transaction you made in trading would have additional 24.2 deduction for tax I think its to much expensive and a huge inflows income to the korean government. What if every cash out you made would have a 24.2% additional deduction for taxes I think it is quiet reasonable than imposing 24.2 every trading transaction you made your killing the crypto trader for that rulings Sad

Imposing that 24 percent on every trading transaction would kill the trading for many. Unless you're a whale who doesn't need to care.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The END is NEAR! on: January 23, 2018, 08:19:22 PM
I prepared for the worst clicking your thread, "not another noob predicting the end".
But I hope you're right and we will finally see some involvement from amazon.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Over Diversified on: January 23, 2018, 08:13:49 PM
You know, sometimes taking profit isn't such a bad thing, some people would say taking profit is never a bad thing Wink
Besides it opens you up to new investment opportunities.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: January 23, 2018, 08:04:55 PM

173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About etherdelta token on: January 23, 2018, 07:59:10 PM
hello i bought 9000EDT tokens.. but all are telling the EDT isn't good token & never up 5$.. why they telling that.? Huh Huh

Why did you buy this token? Why do you actually think it IS good? If you have legit reasons for your investment why worry?
Or did you just throw in some cash in hope of quick profits?
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rule of 8 - A TRUE HODLER...! on: January 23, 2018, 07:57:05 PM
Most (as you call them) true holders, I bet do not run a full node. I think there are many holders who don't even have the technical capacity to do so.

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - Thousands of Wallets Compromised and Funds Stolen on: January 23, 2018, 07:52:19 PM
It is not devs fault if you disclose your private key to third parties

It's not the devs fault , yet they linked their new investors to this malicious seed generator themselves, doesn't really make sense to me.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulating Crypto killing the market? on: January 23, 2018, 07:41:28 PM
Regulation + crypto hmm? maybe in some manner..like when cashing out or whatever. But looks like many people don't understand that crypto's were supposed to be decentralized and not regulated. And if this gets forgotten and discouraged, we can all start using fiat again. I don't really see the advantage of crypto or bitcoin anymore in that case.

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Complete: Error" withdraw issue with Poloniex on: January 23, 2018, 07:38:31 PM

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hi everyone! on: January 23, 2018, 05:16:05 PM
Do your own research, it will be much more rewarding in the end than listening to someone on here telling you to buy their coin.
Read more, see how things work, invest small, learn more, invest bigger.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin’s Value Due to Social Status it Brings? on: January 23, 2018, 04:43:13 PM
I haven't viewed it as a status symbol myself, and I've never really seen others brag about it either in real life.
