41  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum issue, new to cryptocurrency on: December 13, 2017, 12:48:25 AM
Well, you should not have lost your coins, the latency has augmented these days due to the big amount of tx queued. Please you need to show your txid to see if it has any confirmation yet. Look at the service thread for a free tx accelerator and just wait a little longer. Once i had to wait for three days for a transaction.
Hope it helps.
42  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please what am I going to do, if my activity remains stagnant on: December 13, 2017, 12:40:50 AM
Hey dude, your registration date was in November 26, 2017. So by the next week you should start earning more activity points due to the restriction to a 2 weeks period.

The activity has been very very ...... veeeery explained here in the forum, here it goes the explanation from @theymos:

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Activity is updated every hour.

So dude, by the time of this post you transaction had 16 confirmations, it means it is not reversible anymore. Remember that bitcoin’s transactions is just a matter of time, by the first 10 minutes it could possibly have the first confirmations but lately the network has a lot of tx to do and you should help yourself setting an adequate fee.
44  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie to cryptoworld on: December 12, 2017, 05:51:00 PM
Hello, I remember the day when I joined the forum, next Tuesday will be a year. Back then I didn’t know what a crypto-currency was, what were the technologies behind something called Bitcoin and how could I get in to the crypto-world. So now a year after I have a lot of more questions to ask about this world, it’s amazing how you can do transactions by using your PC or phone or whatever and buy/sell things, work online, exchange and among other things without you government or banks notice it. So far I consider myself a newbie about cryptoworld’s technology; I would like to implement my own fork of a cryptocoin and to promote the cryptoworld in my country, to really understand the whole process behind a creation of a new coin. I need to keep studying a lot more about all this, and so do you, so keep going on.
Recommendations:
  • Bitcoin website
  • Read stickies
  • Browse the forum
  • Search info in others websites
  • Study, study, read ....
  • As a last recourse ask for help here in the forum

Best regards,

45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why still not BTC payment ??? on: December 12, 2017, 12:46:57 AM
Well by know I guess that your transaction is already confirmed because it has 25 confirmations. These days the network has lots of transactions to perform so latency has increased his value. You should not worry anymore because with 6 confirmations is more than enough to call the transaction as a valid one, but you already know that, don’t you?
Greetings.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin or Monero on: December 10, 2017, 04:41:48 PM
I f I have to choose, I like Monero, but I will choose Litecoin due to this one allows using a lightweight wallet  (electrum-ltc), with monero your only choices are webwallets like mymonero or running a full node, which so far I can’t do it. It’s true that Monero offers more privacy and security for investors but for today I don’t need those things.
47  Economy / Micro Earnings / Is coinhive trustable/legit? on: December 10, 2017, 04:06:57 PM
Hi all, have you ever withdraw from coinhive or any other similar web services listed here? I would like to try some of them, actually I’m poorly trying to reach the minimum withdrawal number in coinhive. I would like to set up in a future a webpage which will implement a reward plus donation system. Thanks in advance for any reply.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most creative bounty programs on: December 09, 2017, 10:29:39 PM
I haven’t followed many ICOs, I mean I have not follow almost any ICO. So far I have read some of them, took a look at the ANN and Bounty threads and they look basically the same to me. These days I signed in the Project C campaign to see where it goes. I have to say this one is quite different because you don’t know what the h… is the Project C but you feel like let’s wait a lil bit to see what will happen. I hope those guy don’t become a scam.
49  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newly on: December 09, 2017, 02:05:49 PM
Well, first of all welcome to the forum, here you will find all kind of info about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. From very trusted people to the scammers.

I suggest you to browse the forum looking for what you feel curiosity for, but first go and watch the introductory video at the bitcoin official web site and then if you like still waching videos on youtube, then return here.

Learn for the forum the unofficial list of (official) BCT rules, also learn what you need to know about the ranking system, and in general read all the stikies.

Best regards.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: .............. C .............. on: December 09, 2017, 01:48:10 PM
I have a question. Yesterday was that Friday when you people where in an average campaign people get payments. So far I’m not clear if this week’s payment was yesterday or it is going to be on Dec 15th. The thing is I joined to this sign campaign two days ago and so far I have posted four or five posts. So my question here is if I will lost the posts I already posted or they will count when my first week (next Thursday) ends. Also this post count, right?
51  Other / Meta / Deleting applying posts? on: December 09, 2017, 01:40:15 PM
I know I am not a campaign manager but what do you think about deleting the rejected signature campaign’s applying? Those applying are there just as trash posts consuming recourses. Also it could be a good thing because when a possible advertiser find his/her post deleted he will know he was not accepted to the current signature campaign.
Some opinions.
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin for Dummies on: December 09, 2017, 03:09:34 AM
There are already many post asking that question. I think you should read older post here in the Newbies section to find what you are looking for. I recommend you to go to the bitcoin webpage and take a look to the introductory video, it contains all the basic notions that you need to know about bitcoin to get started with it.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im sill bigginer on: December 09, 2017, 02:49:03 AM
Here you will hear many opinions but the truly truth is that what you should do depends only on you.
You can invest part of your money in some valuable idea, trade if you have the skills to make more money, donate to a good reason, travel the world, got to space, buy a star for your wife, I don’t know, do nothing for the rest of your life .... Wink .
54  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How deal with bullies at work? on: December 08, 2017, 03:29:44 AM
In my opinion you should not stay away nor avoid the person, as every situation in your life you must face your problems not run away from them. Getting another job or school is worst because you will always be scare of those idiots. Once you show you are weak and you won’t do anything or fight back they will be over you all the time.
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new here learning Bitcoin!!! on: December 08, 2017, 03:17:21 AM
Well you can always start your learning by watching videos on youtube, but first I recommend you to go to bitcoin.org website and read the getting started, then return here and browse the forum’s thread, you’ll find enough information about bitcoin, read all the stickies. Also there’s a free course at Coursera about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, learn all about wallets and how to make transfers.

When doing that try to rank up your account here in the forum, it will let you join o signatures campaign, where you can earn some coins when you have at least jr member rank.
