Is anyone having a problem getting on Safe Trade? I hold all my URX but i happened to check the price of URX today on Coin Gecko and i seen activity stop. I tried to go on Safe Trade and the splash screen is up but once you try to enter nothing.

Oh and by the way i love URX i been CPU mining with just a couple of laptops getting about 1 URX a week lol but i'm doing it because this is a fun little coin and i trust the team behind it. Keep up the good work!! Smiley

I've started masternodes in the past but had a little trouble setting up this one. Hitman, one of the devs, fixed it for me in less than 10 minutes. I never had a dev help me on such a personal level. Makes me believe they really care about their community and the securing of their network. I will be with MPCP for a long time!!!

For me this is big red light.

Premined, MN and copying code and deleting copyrights .. that is too much...

It is very sad when they do that.

I think it will be really wise not to support something like this. Author copy/pasted another coin, deleted Copyright information, premined it, created MN to sell his premined coins...

It's very sad as i had faith in this coin when it first came out, following bitcointalk, discord, etc. Then i seen all this break out, i had a masternode but switched over to a newer POS+MN coin. I was missing masternode payments with Veco sometimes getting only one payment in 36 hours. That's not enough for me to make some coin and to support my VPS even at only $5 a month.

With this new coin, i'm currently staking with a very low amount over only $15 and within a day i already got three POS payments. I'm going to switch to a masternode once i make enough with my POS payments, but might even stay at POS.

I'm not bashing the Veco devs here as i wish them all the best but a lot of people probably already lost faith in this coin.

Hi everyone,

I've been into crypto for about 6 years now and i just finally setup my first masternode on the Veco network. It took me a little while to do it and my status was enabled but when i woke up this morning it already said New Start Required. I restart my alias and it now says enabled again but was wondering if i lost my place in the rewards table?? I checked my VPS and nothing got restarted, i checked sentinel and it was still running, so i'm assuming i still got my place in the winners list but i just wanted to check with you guys to make sure. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks guys..

The price has gone up to 1.98 $, not bad at all Smiley

Price is back down but hopefully will get back up to atleast $2.

I also see that someone with a super high hash rate is mining URX and that gets me worried about a couple things. 1. He/She is going to mine most of the supply very quick. 2. Will probably dump the coin in massive amounts, bringing the value of this coin down quickly. Gets me kind of worried seeing that.

Ive just mined a block mining solo on my AMD a6-6400k CPU ...  After about 3 hours...

Does it mean the whole network hashrate is low and weak ?

The coin has a low supply so the block times aren't as fast as some higher supply coins, which is a good thing in a way as it could keep the price high. I would just mine on a pool for a steady payout directly to wallet. As you can see on the ANN page is say's something like 230,000+ mined over 70 years, so the block times are going to be slow. I've been mining at like 30KHs hash rate and after about a 5 days and only got about 2 URX. I just hope people keep the price high because for all this work i would hate to see the coin go down in value for being this rare. Not to mention all the mining time you have to put in just to get a couple coins. 30Khs is kind of high for this algo and it puts in a lot of work.

Just out of curiosity how high of a hash rate do you get with your AMD processor? I've been mining with two servers using 16 core Xeon processors with AVX2 getting that 30KHs.

I don't even know the hashrate cause i mine straight in wallet (setgenerate command).

BTW.   Claiming 70 years as mining period is quite funny ... I bet Uranium X will not exist . Just imigagine how the world can change in 70 years.  Many years ago a newspaper in New York calimed that due to increasing horses on the street there will be over 1 meter of horse shit on streets in the future ... Today insteas of tons of horseshit there plenty of cars and now the direction is  to electric cars... So its very hard plannig forward for 70 years...

Another thing with low supply currencies is the problem that they are hard to spend at reasonable price.
I was reading somewhere that a man who owned some coin called Aurum (or something like that , anyway coin with low supply) caused price crash when he tried to sell them. The low supply is easy to manipulate the price cause very few people owns it..

Im mining it just for fun and to learn something new.

If you are mining out of the wallet then you can use the same command prompt and type getmininginfo and it will let you know your hashrate. It's hard to say if any crypto will exist in 10 years...it really comes down to the Governments and the Host providers...as long as it's legal I think it has a chance. I see Crypto more as a geek collectible like Baseball cards or comic books but made with zeros and ones. Bitcoin is also susceptible to a major dump in the market...All coins are really...Bitcoin has some large wallets out there and for some of those wallets to dump 1% of thier holdings in that wallet could drop the price a decent amount.

URX  Has a great Community and a Growing team of people working to make it Awesome. one of the main goals for 2019 is to make UraniumX as user friendly as possible! I want the everyday person be able to watch a couple short videos and start mining with an old computer they have laying around. I would love to see an army of laptops and older desktops protecting the network!

Thank you for your Observations and for Mining UraniumX!! I hope you have fun!

That's what i'm doing right now haha, i got 12 laptops mining and a couple VPS servers. I like this coin and have fun mining it Smiley

I just got one ? do you know what happened to the RickillerZ cpuminer?? I tried the github address and it seems his account has been deleted.

You are quite right, never thought of it that way. The price also depends on the dev team as well, like their updates and progress on their plan for this coin. Kind of makes me nervous now cause everyday i look on SafeTrade and see the coin going down down down.

I might try to mine some Zumy which uses argon2d250, but i heard they had such a high pre-mine, which makes me a little worried as well, but i do already have their wallet installed.

Going to jump in on this while it's good. I love cpu mining and there is quite a bit out there but this project looks very promising. I always got the most profit CPU mining with the Argon2d etc algo compared to the rest. I am mining Zumy now with hopes it will succeed. I guess we gotta wait and see how it goes.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best CPU Mineable Coins in 2018 and CPU Mining Guides on: May 08, 2018, 02:44:59 PM
Haven't read the whole post but did anyone mention HexxCoin? This coin just recently gained some popularity and i was lucky to get in on it early and made a decent profit. The difficulty is still low and the price is really good at the moment. If you have a couple decent rigs you can make some serious cash with this coin.

Try using "sudo make" instead, if it doesn't work then you might need some dependencies installed but not sure which ones because of the wallet update.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU mining Only Coin List ( CPU MINING LIST ) on: January 23, 2018, 09:01:32 AM
I usually read bitcointalk for new coin announcements and i find when a coin is fresh it's profitable for like the first month with CPU mining, even with ASCI Algos. A lot of devs have also been producing Neoscrypt, Cryptonight, and even new algorithm coins, which when you get in early can be very profitable.

I normally don't jump in on coins that have been out for more than a year because as the difficulty rises it makes it hardly profitable with CPU unless you have a powerful one.

Right now the coin i am mining is called Raven, it uses a new algo called x16r with was released as a CPU only coin, but already a week in someone wrote the code for a GPU miner. Even so it is still profitable with CPU, in only a day i mined 700 coins using only two laptops and a Cloud Server. It hasn't even been listed on a exchange yet but when it does it will be very high at first.

This is how i usually CPU mine and it has been very good to me Smiley

Dev could you be having trouble getting this on a exchange because of a coin conflict?

Cryptopia and a few others still have the old XCoin on their exchanges with the XCO ticker. I know your ticker is different but maybe they wont list because they already have a coin named Xcoin on their exchanges. Is the old project really dead? or is the volume enough for them to keep the old coin on? I'm really not sure but i think a name change would help you out in getting listed.

I'm really just trying to help, i am a big supporter of your coin and mined a good amount while it was really new so i want to see you succeed in this project. Again it's just something you might want to look into.

Any exchange news? Thanks
nothing at the time but we have been talking alot about it on the discord chat

Ok thanks, i'll jump on there tomorrow. Glad to see all the support for this coin, i was able to mine a good amount with just a cpu before the difficultly got high so i am happy and i hope this coin, simply, takes off. Thanks

Quick question for anyone who might know, I was asked what the RPC port is as one of the questions when adding the coin to an exchange.
The only reference I can find in the code is here:
https://github.com/xcoinproject/xcoin/blob/master/src/chainparamsbase.cpp
nRPCPort = 22717;

However am I right in saying that you can use any RPC port you wish, as long as it's configured in the xcoin.conf file?
For example, I'm using a different RPC port specified by me for the block explorer & online wallet which I've configured in the config file.

Is the RPC port above actually used for anything?

If i remember correctly it actually is set in the code of the wallet somewhere. Granted i'm not a coder but i seen it posted somewhere before with someone asking the same question.

OK thanks. i see now. i assume immature ballance he need more time to get confirmed.
Another question, how can i set up to run my pc with only 4 CPU ( not ALL 6 that i have) . i used for mining cpuminer-hmq1725

Put -t 4 in the command line
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: InflationCoin - IFLT - 80% PoS Year II - Yobit - Alipay - LocalBitcoins on: December 30, 2017, 07:39:40 AM
I myself have been a huge supporter of inflationcoin. Great payouts, stable wallet, the dev is still active. I've been staking inflationcoin for only 4 months and seen my balance just rise, rise, rise and now i finally see movement on some markets. Once the dev makes some updates this coin will fly. I just have a good feeling about it Smiley
